In the 4th one's 2nd rendition/copy, the sudden interruption to the song and the guy walking past was to demonstrate that villain's power to stop time since it had been revealed in the prior episode. Hence, the figure that suddenly appeared in the 4th was him. The 2nd rendition showed why it was sudden: He had stopped time.

Jojo's fans will break into your house and beat you senseless if you skip the openings; they're that integral to the experience and immersion to many fans. Starting in part 3, the story becomes very centered around 'stands', which are an extremely weird and versatile system of superpowers that become more wild and absurd as the series goes on, turning all of the fights into 4-d chess battles of figuring out super specific weaknesses or setting up super specific circumstances to gain the advantage. This show 100% lives up to its name: it is EXTREMELY weird, and has a lot of body horror and disturbing imagery, but is also consistently fun, surprising, and creative. Definitely worth giving it a watch at some point.

Jojos is a super unique anime because each season/part has a new protagonist and villain and more importantly.. theme each part is a completely unique watch, part 1 is a og 80 fist of the North Star type anime, part 2 almost feels like a indiana jones adventure traveling countries fighting nazis and looking for artifacts, part 3 is about a globe trotting group on a mission to take a big bad out to stop a curse, facing all his minions all along the way, part 4 is a slice of life murder mystery in a quiet Japanese town where the characters figuring out who the villain is half the battle, part 5 is a mafia story following jojo and his crew taking over the Naples mafia, and finally part 6.. an all female prison break story that switches halfway through to a world ending conflict and a resolution that ties the whole of the Jojos bloodlines history to a close
JoJo is a very queercoded series while only some characters are canonically queer (almost all villains) many are implied + JoJo has been influenced by many queer fashion designers and musicians etc!!
