jokes aside, they can't utilize force choke. This fight is presumably taking barriss while she was still uncorrupted by the dark side and even then barriss was never shown to utilize force choke when she fell. Luminara is also devoted to the jedi code so she would virtually be untainted
Man I just loving seeing Obi Wan fight. He's such a big beast, lumbering around, and any time a fight is going evenly, he is actually winning. He's almost comparable to a defensive Wolverine who doesn't smoke cigars or throw people off buildings. Also, I will never stop mentioning this, his ledge game is sick.
plus he actually pays attention to how his opponents fight, unlike anikin who spends all of his fights twirling and thinking about how angsty he is.
Obi wan is my favorite character. Its because of him that I switched my fighting style to defense, because he showed me that defense is least tiring

Obi-Wan was not without a force shield. In season 6 of the Clone Wars, he resisted a force push from Count Dooku because he saw it coming. If he was taken by surprise, then he would not be able to resist, but if he saw the telekinesis coming, he would be able to hold out.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is indeed pretty strong in the force manipulation.
He has thrown humans around with great ease high into the air. General Grievous (ROTS) and a Death Watch Mandalorian Assassin (Clone Wars) were pushed high, high into the air. Obi-Wan also matched Anakin's force push, and was able to demonstrate proficient, though not overwhelming, tutamenis, able to deflect blaster bolts, projectiles, and even Fire from a flamethrower. Obi-Wan has lifted stones too, and uses the force push very often against less force-skilled opponents such as Pre Vizsla.
"The Negotiator" is such a badass title.
Master Luminara is certainly a worthy Jedi, but even with Barris Offee at her side I concur with you, they'd not be able to best Obi-Wan Kenobi. Mace Windu called him the most well-rounded swordsman of the Order, if memory serves on par (or near enough to be) with himself, Count Dooku, and even Yoda. But I like your match-up and the collaboration. It was a solid analysis.
Btw, I like how you don't just give match-ups of physical dexterity, Force and martial arts ability, but how you put them to use in a hypothetical combat scenario. Very good innovation on Jensaarai's original format.
Lastly, what's the name of the music you always use in your openings? I'd like to hear it all!

2v1 battles i think are a cool way of going about it. (or even 2v2) just because it puts a different perspective on how the fight would roll out.

@@lukec2004 That's not a display of power, merely the manipulation of a crazed and exhausted Maul... And Clone Wars/Rebels are both known for lowballing the power of force users anyway.

I love this one, man. And to quote master Luminara, “a true master of form 3 is invincible.” Well Kenobi was THE TRUE master of form 3. This fact alone sets the fight in his favor.

AHHH! This versus video was absolutely AMAZING! Well worth the wait. You guys work extremely well together and you should really consider working together even more. I think you guys covered your points very well and the narration was amazing, by BOTH of you. I also really like how you guys explain how the fight would go down, it makes it far more entertaining than other versus made by others. And the music was awesome as well. But, yeah, THIS WAS AWESOME!

+josiah jenks This fight, can't speak for Luminara, but Barriss got REALLY strong, strong enough to out duel Anakin Skywalker and forcing him to use the force.
Matthew Barnes Not really. He defeated her with Jar Kai. Which was just a Hobby to him. Meaning that if he had been using what was most familiar to him, he would have ended the Fight far Quicker.
josiah jenks Funny thing, Barris knew that to defeat Anakin she had to use angles and or provoke him into getting upset and wait for an opening.
She did not fight him head on, and used many angles to approach striking him which resulted in throwing him off balance several times while maintaining her own.
The most Anakin did to her in that fight was kick her off and or away when she was exuding pressure.
They both used Jar Kai and Anakin decided to switch to single saber combat, or dropped his other saber.
Anakin disarmed her and began pummeling down on her while she blocked. She struck back, saw an opening and Anakin used the force to subdue her when she took that opening.
That moment of using the force was done a little TOO quickly considering the nature of the force, almost as if he had planned that.
Because he knew he had to take her alive to save Ahsoka.
Barriss was obviously no match for Anakin, but she wasn't exactly a pushover either, she pulled a good fight, kicked him around and forced him to use the force.
Matthew Barnes She wasn't fighting him, she was trying to Delay the Inevitable, at least long enough to get away. She knew she stood no chance, and if you pay attention, she trie to Run Away every chance she gets. And Anakin was restraining so he could take her alive. So i still say she couldn't take him at all.

Nihilus vs Windu
Too one sided in my opinion. Nihilus is insanely powerful, but he isn't that incredible a duelist. He is the definition of a one trick pony, attack, use force drain, completely devour opponent. If he goes against someone who can take his Force drain (baring in mind A LOT of people can resist Force Drain, Windu included) he doesn't really stand a chance. Windu is one of the most powerful Jedi in galactic history, I do not think he would have any trouble once he'd shaken off Nihilus' force drain attempt. Would be interesting to explore the applications of Force Drain though, particularly against the Vaapad technique.
Fanalysis only wounds in the force can resist Nihilus.

Very good. You have to remember how powerful ventress was, she basically multiple times duelled the 2 arguably strongest jedi of all time in certain ways. ANd her force push was powerful enough to push Anakin and an entire team of Clones backwards when she escaped the attack on Kamino

I think that it is kind of obvious obi would lose because while Barriss or luminari would be clashing with obi the other would strike him to finish him off.

I find it odd how easily Obi Wan was beaten by Dooku, since Obi Wan beat Maul, Grevious, and Anakin. He also held off Jango Fett. And that's just in the movies.
Because Dooku is simply better than Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan didn't beat Maul by way of skill, but by way of a Hollywood ending. Obi-Wan had a form advantage against Grievous. And with regards to Anakin vs Obi-Wan:

+william morris That is correct. But what is notable is that she successfully mimicked her style at all. Ventress was a very good duelist. However, we were not saying Offee was capable of this in this fight, just that she might have had the ability (because there isn't many dueling feats for her).
watch how ventress preforms against Anakin or Ahsoka outmatching them both then watch barriss fight them. ventress is vastly superior.
It's hard to believe how unbelievably nerdy this is. Can't wait for The Force awakens. The force has been dead since episode 1 The Phantom Menace. Even though I kinda liked the prequels, I know how terrible they are.

Antoine Bandele I don't know. It's possible that they could simply overwhelm him but Obi Wan skill and form make that unlikely. Would need more knowledge on the characters to come to any sort of definitive decision.
