Good afternoon
This was great, but I've noticed that when faced with questions like allowing people to be in leadership positions that wear jewelry etc. The question is never answered head on with a yes or no. Its always a fluff answer. If people r struggling with that issue ,yes they need more of Jesus. But until then they should not be in leadership positions because they will be a stumbling block and will falsely represent the message. Why is it that our pastors find it so hard to say or follow?
I have the same opinion as you...I oppose to any use of jewelry, make-up or extravagances.
It is wrong!

Drinking one cup or the whole bottle is still drinking.....there is no excess....

Drinking strong drink refers to deception.

Wine makes merry, strong drink is for morning the dead, depression and medicine. Moses even sent the Israelites to buy wine and strong drink. The Israelites wedding and the Jews of today still is a big celabration centered around the wine not the grapejuice
So its ok to drink wine and liquor, right?
@@Bruce.-WaynePsalm 104:15 says that wine makes man’s heart rejoice. Ecclesiastes 10:19 says wine makes life enjoyable. There is nothing wrong with drinking, but drinking excessively and getting drunk is wrong.

@@3abn Of coarse Jesus never abused wine or doubtfully ever drank strong drink but it was not forbidden. New wine or grape juice was only available at harvest time and you didn't put it in old used wine skins. Why did Paul say lay people and deacons can drink it but a bishop should not. He made the most excellent aged blush for the wedding. Even Ellen wrote in the great controversy she wasn't sure about it but because of all the trouble she had seen it cause in her own family and beyond she chose to make it forbidden. She payed for that sin as did Moses for beating the rock
