I laughed when you said "is this the only good song by the Bee Gees". ALL the songs by the Bee Gees are masterclasses in harmony and songwriting, not to mention the amazing vocals by any one of them.
He’s so beautiful. I love , love, love his voice. He doesn’t look the same as he did when he was younger but I still love him and his voice . Maurice and Robin have beautiful voices too. They keep the Fallcetto going when Barry goes higher which he does so beautifully.
jack woyshar. I absolutely love The Bee Gees. In week a week of March 1978, they wrote/produce 5 songs #1, #2, #3, #6, #9 in the top 10, AND the Beatles had the #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 songs on the top 10 in weeks of April 1964. There were 2 groups.
They are brothers. In fact, the two on the outside, Maurice and Robin are twins. It's perfect sibling harmony with a very long history. Enjoy all of the Bee Gees music you haven't heard yet.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️
I've heard it theorized that this is Barry's head voice, not his falsetto. Makes sense if you consider the vibrato and the way he can sustain the notes.
my mom (born in 1955) also grew up listening to the Bee Gees, and in turn my brother and I were raised listening to them (we are 80s & 90s babies) and you can believe if I ever have babies they will grow up listening to the Bee Gees too
Andy was the last. Barry was 2nd oldest followed by Robin and Maurice that are unidenticle twins. Not to knock your comment which is 100% agreeable. Maybe a typo "last"....
This one of the most stunning songs ever written and performed , no AUTO TUNE or enhancing gadgets ! Their harmonies are sick 👍🏻 look at them stealing women’s hearts everywhere ♥️
I get a kick out of watching you youngsters flip over the singers I have been listening to for over 50 years! In MY era, we have dozens and dozens of singers that would BURST your SOUL into the CELESTIAL RHELM where the LORD resides! Skin color has NOTHING to do with TALENT!!! This is GOD GIVEN!
I was born in 70s and grew up listening to this music because this was my parents vibe. I loved the all types of music. Good to see your people like yourself appreciating music before your time.
Go on lad just cry !we all do ,it hits you right down into your soul! They are the only group that can make you smile and cry at the same time !Enjoy !
I'm 64 and the bee gees was no stranger in the hood, we grew up on all type of musical groups white or black we had that contrast in my opinion, rock, soul country, you name we had it,so the bee gees was just one of many different groups. Man we had it goin on bro.!!!
A generation of babies was made to their music....1976 for me.....start the evening with BREAD and a wee bit of weed to get to second base, move on to a little wine and some Rod Stewart and you've made third...but it takes the BeeGees to drop those panties and slide in to home.
at 2:57 he feeling it; them boyz can SAAAANNNNGGG; it cannot be disputed; they did me the same way; The Bee Gees will touch yo soul...just go with it; its good music!
Musical geniuses, the Bee Gees are my favorite group of all time. You have many songs to get through, all classics. You thought this was good oh my God there's so many
100 top 40s 21 number one songs 150 million records sold worldwide US UK AND AUSTRALIAN ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES DEFINITELY ONE OF THE GREATEST SINGERS SONGWRITERS EVER!!
Hey we're not old, just experienced and with a plethora of fantastic music to draw from. I have a huge vinyl collection, thankfully I can try to do something with that now. You are definitely correct though - our music absolutely did NOT suck!!
You have another 4 decades of BeeGees music to discover .. This song is from the 70s and they defined the 70s. They were huge in the 60s. Came back in the 80s and 90s and even in the zeroes ...
The Bee Gees are one of the top five groups of all time, period. Check out some of their songs from the 60s like “Massachusetts,” “to love somebody,” or “I started a joke.”
My brother, you don't know what you're missing. In the 70s, man 70s was so fun and go to 10 parties in one night. And you won't get shot. You have a good day.Keep on doing what you're doing peace
The most beautiful harmonies you will ever hear. I grew up listening to their music and especially love their early stuff. Tragically, only Barry is left to carry on their legacy.
I just love it when the younger generation shows a huge smile with the first few words of their songs. The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as The Bee Gees. Maurice (on the right - pronounced Morris - balding hair) passed away in 2003. While going into surgery, he had a heart attack caused by restricted blood flow because of his twisted intestines. (I heard Barry say this in another video.) They're still baffled as to why the operation was performed. I feel Maurice should had been featured, as the lead singer, on at least one of their songs, on each album. Robin (on the left - long hair ) passed away in 2012. During an operation they discovered cancer. The youngest of the brothers, Andy, who had his own successful career, died of inflammation of the muscle surrounding the heart. He lead the LA lifestyle of drug use. He passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. He and Barry could had passed as twins, evenn though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. Barry (in the middle) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. He will be 75 years old September 1, 2021, which is also the date he and his wife Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide, and by now probaby more. They were also writers for other musical artists. Barry just completed a new project called 'Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook.' On a side note, their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76 in January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. You will like: How Deep Is Your Love ---- You Win Again --- Staying Alive ---- Night Fever --- Emotion (Samantha Sang sings this, and they are the background singers. Very pretty.) OH! They were good friends with Michael Jackson.
Jive Talkin & Nights On Broadway are great but the Bee Gees don't have a bad song!! The Saturday Night Fever Album is GOLD!! From the movie (same name) with John Travolta. 1976 the height of Disco.
Although, the Bee Gees said they never saw the movie, even when it came out. As Robin said, the music was written before they were contacted about providing some songs for the film, and that Saturday Night Fever "isn't Gone With the Wind." (not an epic movie) In my opinion the music and dance routines are the only parts which are worth watching. I think that's why they never saw the film.
They rolled with the flow. Reinvented themselves. Wrote for others. Diana Ross. Dolly Parton. They could sit on a couch and sing you to tears. No auto tune. What you see is them doing what they loved. I appreciate your kind reaction. I adore them.
This was the shitzzzz.. Beyond WOW!!! The Bee Gees Were Lit 🔥 This is what I grew up with, my children and grandchildren sing to and love this song… Thank You for sharing God bless you ❤
"Run to me", "Love you inside and out". I mean i can literally go on and on. Also, Andy Gibb their younger brother was extremely talented and amazing singer with hits like "Shadow Dancing" , "I just want to be your everything " and "Our love". I see im 3 years too late for this comment but Bee Gees are special to me and i love watching the younger generation hear them. Peace and love
I listen to all kinds of music from rap to country, but I can listen to the Bee Gees over and over again. Definitely Love their music... Thank you for reacting to this beautiful song.
You will love the Bee Gees! Their catalog is amazing. So much variety. Some tunes to try: Massachusetts, Lonely Days, Jive Talkin', How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Alone, This Is Where I Came In, You Win Again, and Immortality with Céline Dion.
Glad to see your reaction to the Bee Gees. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole my friend! These guys literally wrote 100s of songs for themselves as well as other artists. They wrote the songbook of my life! 😊
i am in my 50s, I grew up listening to Country, Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Disco, Rap, Hip Hop, Classical, Soul, everything, we didn't look at who was singing, or performing, we just listened and if it touched us in some way we kept listening to it. I am so happy to see younger people, and people who had the idea that certain people listened to only certain music finally see that the older generations listened to music for the music and to feel emotion and help us express emotions. Enjoy and keep looking into other music that comes up with the Bee Gee's, there is a ton of music from that era that will knock your socks off.
The BeeGees wrote over 1,000 songs, for themself and MANY other Chart-Topping Musicians. They also have the 2nd highest selling Single Album in History - 63 MILLION. In their career together, they sold over 220 MILLION albums, so what they did seemed to work :-)
Dear Rome Life Reactions Ahhhh.....Soul music. Is there any other music that compares? It reaches into the deepest part of your soul and its hard to describe it in words. When you hear it, you know it's right. Your whole body reacts to it and it moves you. Your body and your facial expressions tell the story. Thank you so much for sharing your reaction to this beautiful Bee Gees ballad.
They are Fire. Every song a HIT and way too many to list! Highly recommend “Nights on Broadway” not only the brilliance in songwriting but, the big brother, Barry’s major talent in Producing and Engineering...which he does on all song he writes!
The general public didn't realize how incredibly talented the Bee Gee's were because much of the industry downplayed disco music for many decades. Now, what do you think about them? I grew up in the 70's loving the Bee Gee's because I grew up in a family of musicians and singers knowing just how difficult it is to sing at this level. Their harmonies are incredible, and I have yet, to hear anyone or group with their level of ability. Sadly, Barry is the only Bee Gee to still be alive. I play their music almost daily. They are incredible.
Dude, the 60’s and 70’s has the absolute best music of all time. Didn’t really matter what genre of music because it was all good. Rock, R&B, disco, it was all there. Great music.
@@miamidolphinsfan And all of Andy Gibbs songs, and Barbra Streisand's "Woman In Love", Diana Ross "Chain Reaction", Dionne Warwick "Heartbreaker", "Immortality" by Celine Dion, "If I Can't Have You" and "Love Me" by Yvonne Elliman, "Sacred Trust" for One True Voice, and of course Destiny's Child (or Samantha Strong) "Emotions" song as well, lol:), "Hold On to My Love" by Jimmy Ruffin, "More Than A Woman" a hit for Tavares, and Bee Gee's recorded for the SNF album, but never released as a single (got radio play anyways), and a song they did release, had a number one hit with, than covered by the one and only Al Green, "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart". Umm, ok, I"ll stop, I can't believe I knew that much.
He also has Charisma , charm and humility. He has his feet planted firmly on the ground. Family comes first, Because of that he has a beautiful and loving family. He will always miss his brothers however he will accept that they are in Heaven and will continue holding them and himself to the same standards as The Bee Gees. Robin and Maurice as well as Andy would be proud.
I love it! Watching your generation react to the Bee Gee's actually makes me smile....like a huge smile, that actually reaches my eyes... 😂 I love it! A true music lover knows no genre! For instance, I was told statically, at my age, I would not be open to new music...I Love Love Love some new artists...X...love him! A true artist! Just a for instance. Don't limit yourself!
When this came out I was too young to appreciate Barry’s sexiness. Seeing them sing all these years later, I have a better appreciation. And the music is even better than I remembered.
Can’t go wrong. 40 yrs of awesome. RIP Robin and Maurice. Check out the song “This Is Just Where I Came In” for a humourus autobiography of their career. These guys had a wicked sense of humor.
the group journey with steve perry as lead singer was the bomb. steve perry also has a couple of solo albums that are great. the bee gees had a younger brother named andy gibb who rivaled his older brothers (the bee gees) in popularity. andy gibb died in the late 1980's.
I laughed when you said "is this the only good song by the Bee Gees". ALL the songs by the Bee Gees are masterclasses in harmony and songwriting, not to mention the amazing vocals by any one of them.
They wrote 1000 songs for themselves and many other artist. No gimmicks, just pure talent
There will never be music like that anymore.and that is a sad thing. No auto tune crap just pure talent!
This song went number one. They donated the processes from this song to Unicef
No autotune .. no computers.. no gimmicks...... simply beautiful
goes to show there's no replacement for true talent.
Absolutely
simply talent
100% correct. Flawless and timeless.
Perfection. I was blessed to live in that time, no regrets.
This is from the era when men sang TO women and not ABOUT them. Bee Gees were legendary.
@drt Yarr mon doe's were da days.I prefer to live in those days than these. So i do.
You have to be kidding me... Every BEE GEE song is amazing.......AMAZING
Going down a rabbit hole. Their catalog is deep and wide. Never heard a song of theirs that was bad.
Facts!!! No bad songs. I love them all!
True!!
I think you are correct. I don't recall ever hearing a bad Bee Gees song. Ever
That's because there is no such thing as a bad song by the BEE GEES
100%
Barry Gibb is Mother Nature's Masterpiece!! He's got it all.....chest voice, head voice, vibrato and the BEST falsetto EVER!
He’s so beautiful. I love , love, love his voice. He doesn’t look the same as he did when he was younger but I still love him and his voice . Maurice and Robin have beautiful voices too. They keep the Fallcetto going when Barry goes higher which he does so beautifully.
Don't forget the #2 songwriter of ALL TIME
Mother natures? 😅 silly rabbit....a child of God get that right!
Barry still a handsome man. Such a romantic and sweet person ❤
You got that right!
These guys were the only group to have 5 of the top ten songs during the same week. They either performed or wrote the songs.
BTW great job on your reaction videos!
jack woyshar.
Actually on April 4, 1964 The Beatles had the top five songs on the charts. The first and only time that has happened.
During one week in the summer of 1964 the Beatles held every spot in the top ten compiled by CHUM radio in Toronto.
Watch the movie "Saturday Night Fever" the Bee Gees do the sound track.
One of the greatest groups of all time. Right there with Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen & Michael.
Best music was Oldschool the best it’s was about love and togetherness. Live band and costumes was the best. Welcome to own music ❤
They are brothers. In fact, the two on the outside, Maurice and Robin are twins. It's perfect sibling harmony with a very long history. Enjoy all of the Bee Gees music you haven't heard yet.
There's a lot of 40 year olds alive today thanks to this song.

I totally agree

41 yrs later Barry still melts my heart.
This one of the most stunning songs ever written and performed , no AUTO TUNE or enhancing gadgets ! Their harmonies are sick 👍🏻 look at them stealing women’s hearts everywhere ♥️

During this musical era you could hardly tell the difference between a record and a live concert by any of the artists, not today.
They stayed at the top of the R&B charts back in the 70,s
I was born in 70s and grew up listening to this music because this was my parents vibe. I loved the all types of music. Good to see your people like yourself appreciating music before your time.
I love that you LOVE this song. Welcome to the 1970s. They are world famous.💙💛
Yes the 70s were great. I turned 15 years old in May 1970. Love to be a 15 yr old again.
Misic is timeless. Watchingthese reactions, its so true. Today's young ladies melt just like they did back then.
Too many hits to chose from. Bee Gees without a doubt the best Pop group in history.
If you are looking for musical gold you need to mine in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Go on lad just cry !we all do ,it hits you right down into your soul! They are the only group that can make you smile and cry at the same time !Enjoy !
The royalties of this song were given completely to the children of the world. It was a number one hit. Millions of dollars went to unicef
God bless. Heart warming music . Fortunate to grow up with this music
Bee Gees have no bad songs. These three brothers were very talented singer/song writers.
YES!!!! Definitely listen to as many of their songs as you can. They NEVER missed it.

They have a huge catalog of original music...and wrote many, many songs for other artists...Love them.
Hottest group in my time, listen to Saturday night fever, you should be dancing, tragedy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A generation of babies was made to their music....1976 for me.....start the evening with BREAD and a wee bit of weed to get to second base, move on to a little wine and some Rod Stewart and you've made third...but it takes the BeeGees to drop those panties and slide in to home.
They’re brothers so they’ve got that perfect harmony thing going on.
The 2 on the sides are brothers and the one in the middle is their cousin
@@joeeli7688 they are all brothers- along with Andy Gibb.
@@joeeli7688 No, the two on the sides Robin and Maurice are (fraternal) twins and Barry in the middle is their big brother.

Musical geniuses, the Bee Gees are my favorite group of all time. You have many songs to get through, all classics. You thought this was good oh my God there's so many
Their freaking harmony, timing, style, song writing and selection of who they will work with or write for to me was unmatched.
Great reaction. There has never and will never be anything like the Bee Gees again.
You've hit a platinum mine with the Bee Gees. Some of the greatest popular music ever produced.
My favorite is "Love You Inside Out"

Hey we're not old, just experienced and with a plethora of fantastic music to draw from. I have a huge vinyl collection, thankfully I can try to do something with that now. You are definitely correct though - our music absolutely did NOT suck!!
Amen
You are NOT old. Just older. I'm 69 (female) Just older. When you say that It tends to last a little bit longer. George Carlin
Hahaha
All their song are worth downloading , they don't have any bad songs .
This is a rabbit-hole you may never escape from - decades worth of hit after hit after hit!!
I love bee gees song “how can you mend a broken heart”(live from one night only concert)
I really enjoy Al Green's cover of that one. Gorgeous!
And once you watch their version of How can You mend a broken heart, go ahead and look up Al Green's version, it's better.
You have another 4 decades of BeeGees music to discover .. This song is from the 70s and they defined the 70s. They were huge in the 60s. Came back in the 80s and 90s and even in the zeroes ...

All fabulous songs!
You hit on the truth. Real music is what connects us, and makes us happy and feeling like being alive. Much love to you and to your family, brother.
Thank you so much for being open-minded to music from my generation. I was 13 when this came out 41 years ago.

No one was as good as the Bee Gees.
Check out Philip Bailey, Earth, Wind & Fire. Lots of songs but maybe listen to "I'll write a song for you". His falsetto is as good as Barry Gibb's.
I just love it when people 'discover' the Bee Gees for the first time. Then they know what they have missed out on...!
Non of the Artist of today can hold a candle next to these three gentleman, singing or writing music.
YOU GOT THIS IN YOUR HEART NOW MAN
The most beautiful harmonies you will ever hear. I grew up listening to their music and especially love their early stuff. Tragically, only Barry is left to carry on their legacy.
To Love Somebody, Bee Gees
Thats the Univers of the Bee Gees ❤❤❤
Are you kidding me every song that they sing was a gem! They have been together since the 60s so you have a lot of music to listen to!
They’ve been singing in public since 1958, and have been together since the twins were born, seeing as they are the Brothers Gibb.
I just love it when the younger generation shows a huge smile with the first few words of their songs. The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as The Bee Gees.

The Bee Gees also wrote songs others had hits with, like Islands in the Stream, that you did a few days ago (Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers).
Barry Gibb also wrote the song Grease for the movie which if you listen closely to it he is harmonizing with Frankie Valli.
Also did a duet he wrote for Barbra Streisand called Guilty.
Umm, ok, I"ll stop, I can't believe I knew that much.
they also wrote Grease is the word I believe
He also has Charisma , charm and humility. He has his feet planted firmly on the ground. Family comes first, Because of that he has a beautiful and loving family. He will always miss his brothers however he will accept that they are in Heaven and will continue holding them and himself to the same standards as The Bee Gees. Robin and Maurice as well as Andy would be proud.
Fannie Be Tender With Your Love by the BeeGees. ( Live). Will blow your mind. Great vocals.👍👍👍👍💯🎤💯💯💯💯
Love that the artist is in the forefront.
Massachusetts, Live with Robin singing. He has the best voice of all them.
Tons more Bee Gee's out there waiting for you.
My FAVORITE BeeGees song of ALL time!!!
When this came out I was too young to appreciate Barry’s sexiness. Seeing them sing all these years later, I have a better appreciation. And the music is even better than I remembered.
Listen to Staying Alive. Bee Gees. They OWEND the 60s , 70s, and 80s!
I love watching ur reactions, its like watching someone open up a great Christmas gift you got them.
Always love the surprise when someone hears them for the first time! The BeeGees r beyond incredible! Loved them in the 70’s and I STILL love them!✌🏻😎
Very good!! React For whom the bell tolls live Bee Gees...
