Rich - love you and your podcast! That said, you are the host, not the speaker. You tend interrupt and cut people off right when they are saying things you think they are going to say. Don't talk over them. Don;t cut them off. Let us hear THEM speak! We have not done the preparation you have done (clearly too much preparation because you're trying to finish their sentences and word things in your own way; and they don't always agree with your summaries). We want to hear it from them!

I get excited to see the guest and then remember Rich spends all the time talking over the guest. I would like to hear what the actual guest thinks instead of Rich reinforcing his knowledge is as great as the guest.

A good host lets the guest FINISH their point then speak. A good host also steps in when the guest is just saying words with no point in order to get the confab back on track. I agree Rich does interject often when not appropriate.

❤I really appreciate Rich’s commentary as I think that he draws out his speakers and takes them down pathways that are interesting and varied yet cogent . I’m impressed by the research he must do to interact with such depth .

This is a masterclass in engendering critical social media feedback (complaints about overspeaking) to prove how dangerous social media is to an elite performer's brain chemistry regulation. Can you imagine Rich reading all these comments and how tired, depressed, and frustrated it might make him? I bet he did, then he edited the interview to prove it. This is peak social experimentation science.

It’s so questionable to me how people try to lecture a grown smart human on a podcast platform he build with his own efforts, where he offers to reshare information shared by other smart humans.
There is so much weird with America right now. I moved here 3 years ago and the cultural aggression towards types of communication or ways of interacting with other people is so odd. Where I come from, a conversation literally lives by the fact of two people occasionally interrupting each other to dig deeper into a certain topic or to intensify / question a certain point that has been made in BOTH ends.
Most people in fact like to hear themselves talk, which this podcast is absolutely not an example of but much more concerning about the comments below about what communication has to be like.
Let them be and let people do their version of things. Even talking is a right. It’s all good.
    BTW highly interesting conversation!

Amen! Rich is educated on the subjects so let him converse. Who wants a boring one-sided interview? I love the enthusiasm, intellect, humor, and relatability he brings to the conversations. Keep rolling, Rich! 😅❤

I'll be 50 in Aug and have just gone 12 months with no menstrual cycle, even though i am having horrible hot flashes and feel bloated a lot. A few years ago, I started eating more plant-based (well, no red meat at all but have had a tiny amount of fish); like non-dairy items too and try to use Just Eggs and not eggs. After watching the video, you say dairy can make you bloated. Love yogurt but got away from non-dairy b/c of all the added sugars (don't they make you gain weight?) and i started eating 0 sugar yogurts, but those have dairy and i wonder if they are contributing to me feeling bloated a lot? which is worse - non-dairy and added sugar or 0 sugar but it being made with cow's milk?? HELP!!! Do not smoke, drink, etc. Hot flashes, feeling bloated, and some lower ab pain on and off. Not so much brain fog as much - love eating plant based but i'm also not the healthiest either (still buy fake meats and processed a lot)......in good time!

I am a big fan of your podcast, as well as your inspiring life story. Lately I am finding your podcasts to be slightly repetitive. Your focus on self-improvement is eclipsing other aspects of modern living that you can explore with other guests, who aren't members of the self-improvement industry. Thanks.
