  • This is Part 3 of my attempt to build a 1/24 scale model truck completely by hand. It is a model of an International s2500/2574. The truck is a 1/24 scale Styrene Plastic model.
The fuel tank was made from 1mm(0.04") thick Styrene sheet, with 0.5mm pieces used where necessary. I also used a 2.5mm styrene rod for the filler neck. The air tank was made from 1/2" styrene tube and capped off with 1mm pieces.
    Part 2- • HANDMADE INTERNATIONAL...
    Part 4- • HANDMADE INTERNATIONAL...
Plastruct Bondene Cement (2oz bottle) was used to bond the styrene together.
This truck was never intended to be and will never become an rc model.

No vacuform machine or other fancy tools, just pure craftsmanship. I picked up a few tips for working with styrene from watching your videos. Amazing stuff.

I learned so much about using styrene and I'm not even a scale model builder! Great stuff.

I bought it at Home depot, ½ inch channel. I had to shave it down with an angle grinder to make it more narrow. Essentially I made it into a square bracket.
