I just finished watching your interview w/ Mr. Chris @ SBSK. I'm astounded by your bravery and the fullness of your honesty. Fullness isn't the right word I'm looking for but only because I don't want to wait another second before typing this so there you go - fullness. Your interview was rich with insight and just the thing I needed today to help me comprehend on a completely different level. Like millions of others mental illness appears in many of my family members in some form or another and I too have had my own battle, but nothing to the level you have. Listening to what you had to say shifted my thinking in just the right way and the exact moment I needed to hear and see it. So, I hope you can remember that the next time you feel you feel yourself walking toward that rabbit hole. You are doing SO well in your climb out of the hole! I understand because I have depressiion that is being helped by my meds. Hey Dan. I lost my best friend by not recognizing that ppl often suffer in seclusion and silence a few years ago. Ironic because I was the same. It really messed me up and I pushed everyone away. I felt like I was on the brink and hit a tree going 60mph. I survived with only back pains luckily. We both had our issues and his were worse I guess. Truly a good thing you an sbsk are doing. It took me about 7 years of that crap and binge drinking/drug use to find my way through the darkness. It was a struggle but reaching out to ppl really does help. YOUR videos specifically gave me the courage a while back to tell my friends and fam that things weren't ok with me...and my random outburst verbally was me arguing with myself, and that i was ripping my hair out and using makeup to cover it etc. My point is I know you got it worse brother but you are not alone and sooooo deserving of love and help. we all are. I'm doing so much better now, even beefing up in the gym. I still have an episode here or there but between understanding friends and fam/ my continued effort to control things...life is pretty decent now and the hope lives. much love Dan.

Hey. This is as far as I got on your channel so far. But I just gotta say that, of all the people on SBSK, you really stood out to me. And it's not just your SEXY ginger hair, something about you is really relatable. And I don't even have any sort of ptsd or schizoaffective disorder, just the plain and easy severe depression and mild anxiety. Lucky me haha (I guess it goes to show that people aren't defined by their illness). But this video really inspired me. Hearing you talk about getting medication, seeing friends, growing a community on your channel, connecting people and connecting WITH people, and your sweet pupper, that seems pretty exciting. I don't really know if any of them helped you. But I sure as hell hope they did at least as much as they helped me.

New subscriber here. I'm so glad to be able to communicate with you. I watched your first interview with Chris and today I watched the second interview. You are doing SO well in your climb out of the hole! I understand because I have depressiion that is being helped by my meds. I am happy that Chris was able to introduce you to VA help and I'm excited to see how your 6 months go in the camp outs, etc.
When I heard Daniel say. "I'd like to introduce to YOU GUYS, a new member of the family. This is Georgie. The tiny sloth. And he is ridiculously soft."
It made me smile and I knew it was my reminder that Earth still has genuine, caring and loving people like you, Daniel.

Hey Dan. I lost my best friend by not recognizing that ppl often suffer in seclusion and silence a few years ago. Ironic because I was the same. It really messed me up and I pushed everyone away. I felt like I was on the brink and hit a tree going 60mph. I survived with only back pains luckily. We both had our issues and his were worse I guess. Truly a good thing you an sbsk are doing. It took me about 7 years of that crap and binge drinking/drug use to find my way through the darkness. It was a struggle but reaching out to ppl really does help. YOUR videos specifically gave me the courage a while back to tell my friends and fam that things weren't ok with me...and my random outburst verbally was me arguing with myself, and that i was ripping my hair out and using makeup to cover it etc. My point is I know you got it worse brother but you are not alone and sooooo deserving of love and help. we all are. I'm doing so much better now, even beefing up in the gym. I still have an episode here or there but between understanding friends and fam/ my continued effort to control things...life is pretty decent now and the hope lives. much love Dan.

After hearing your story I’ve instantly started to care for you and hope you see that your have a beautiful mind. I wish I could do anything to just make these dark places of your mind go away, but know this disorder does not make you any less you. You’re still kind, funny, warm hearted, intelligent, caring, strong and creative. I will pray that your treatment will help you get happier everyday and get back to a more easy life.

Hey. This is as far as I got on your channel so far. But I just gotta say that, of all the people on SBSK, you really stood out to me. And it's not just your SEXY ginger hair, something about you is really relatable. And I don't even have any sort of ptsd or schizoaffective disorder, just the plain and easy severe depression and mild anxiety. Lucky me haha (I guess it goes to show that people aren't defined by their illness). But this video really inspired me. Hearing you talk about getting medication, seeing friends, growing a community on your channel, connecting people and connecting WITH people, and your sweet pupper, that seems pretty exciting. I don't really know if any of them helped you. But I sure as hell hope they did at least as much as they helped me.
