My grandpa was schizophrenic and went blind so he would have yelling arguments with people and i felt bad for him because he truly couldn’t tell if the people were there or not.

this is genuinely horrifying knowing that people are going through this i feel so bad for them. and the fact people say that people with schizophrenia are “crazy” is just devastating.
Well I'm Modernity Crazy Is associated with Insane, Insane Is associated with Mental, Mental Means People with Mental Problems and Schizophrenia is a Mental Problem 🤷
Fragile, yet it always happens because of a reason. Commonly because of maybe childhood trauma or even genetic. It’s terrible watching him go through this but it’s a great sign that he’s talking through it. If I knew this guy I wouldn’t this he’s crazy, respect.
yeah my dad has this sickness and he was absloutley crazy but he finally took metication and hes talking to "people' he says and he dose that alot and says hes not crazy
So whats the difference between a schozfrenic and a normal person, not much of a diff, let me tell u why, we all have a voice in our head that keeps talking and complaining, is the reason of all the suffering in the world, but are we are really separate from these thoughts and who we really are? Yes, we are totally different than what we hear in our mind and ourselves and reality, this kid, unfortunately is not properly guided, but i bet a week around me, and i ll solve all his problems.
But why does it sound like anyone talking about their internal thoughts. What's fascinating is that there is no second thought about it being real. Since there is that disconnect that these are not his voices and his thought, that it makes it easier to believe. Like people wanting to jump when they walk up to a ledge is a real phenomenon. But most understand that it's THEIR thoughts
I don't wanna be that weirdo in the comments but I wonder if for some people they're hearing spirits. I hear them once in a great while. I have no mental illnesses.
Same here with my son. He's almost 33 & lives with us at home. I do all I can to help him but it has worn me down being his everything over last 18 years. It's been so hard but I will never be okay with sending him to some sort of home ran by people that doesn't love him. Bevause i know how hard it is on every level and i love him more than i love myself. .
the way he was talking sounds like he’s trying to ignore another loud voice talking to him and he keeps losing his train of thought and that is so scary to me
I had a friend in high school who was constantly in and out of the hospital for his schizophrenia. Unfortunately, he committed suicide our sophomore year when we were 16. My friends and I are 23 now, and we still talk about him all the time. Such a great kid. Rest In Peace, Avery.
I can't even imagine living in constant anxiety...he should really have a service dog to help him or maybe a good friend to check on him everyday... :(
Was with a friend who had a episode. He always heard his Mothers voice, he looked at me with pleading eyes and said, "Can't you hear her?" It broke my heart
My boyfriend is experiencing schizo rite now. He said he always hear some of his friend's voice talking bad about him. Even when he was with me, he will ask me is there anyone around us bcz he can hear people badmouth about him. I pity him. Now he is on medication, i hope that will make him better 😢
Makes me sad my mom died when i was a baby i heard her for years during my kindergartden and my first school years by tha age of 9 i ended up with heavy prescriptions of risperidona and clonazepam nobody believed me kides were so.mean in that days when i grown up i learn to live with it but it was hard .

As someone very interested in human psychology, I thank you for recording this! I had a hard time understanding schizophrenia, but now I think I understand it a little better thanks to this video. Thank you for being brave and spreading awareness ❤❤❤
I was actually reluctant to click this video because I knew it would put me in a bad mood but I just wanted to experience what other people experience 😕
The reason why I clicked on this is because I myself have been experiencing constant throbbing headaches in my head, mainly the pain is concentrated on the back of my head but whenever I try to sleep sometimes I feel like thoughts are forced on me to think. Like random songs, quotes I never heard of or heard before so I thought this was a good video to analyze
The fact that you’re aware that you’re having an episode and talking about it is amazing Edit: I have learnt a lot more about schizophrenia since I left this comment. This came from my personal experience and had no ill intent
My mother was schizophrenic heard voices that told her dad was leaving her and that my brother and I laughed at her and wanted a new mother. My brother has schizophrenia and hears and sees things. You are very strong that you are so aware that the voices are not real. My mother and brother always believed they were real.
If i hear a voice shout "gotcha" behind me and it's not there, i would genuinely shit my pants. You're a brave, pure and funny human being. Much love man
This is a beautiful young man, I am so sorry this is happening to him I hope this is therapeutic for him and it helps to release the power it has over his thoughts and the shame it can often bring. He loves Enigma...me too Buddy! I'm not really " religious " but when I remember to pray or something touches my heart I'm inspired to do so. May I pray for you?
The craziest thing to me is that his own brain is doing it to him, almost like he is in a constant battle with himself. He listens even though his mind is creating these voices.
If you have ever suffered with anxiety, depression, ocd, Bipolar, Schizophrenia etc then thats exactly what it is. Mental health IS health and is so important, we should be taught about it so much more
" sometimes i debate if i should or not " no, please youre amazing and you deserve to be here on this planet, please you make the world a better place and you spread awareness to the world. Dont listen to the voices🙏
Seeing this helped me understand that there aren't crazy people, just crazy things happening to normal people. I hope he found some peace and tranquility
Sorry, but have you heard of Hitler or Jeffrey Dahmer or any other serial killer or something like that. There are crazy people. (Dunno why I said this I know it's useless)
@@suurinappi6298they weren’t crazy they were bad, hitler was evil, not mentally unwell or impaired. “Crazy” is a somewhat impolite term to refer to people who suffer from mental disabilities or disorders.
@@alexangel4758 I have schizophrenia, and my boyfriend has recorded me having a split, and when I watched the video back, it was so scary because it was just complete silence, I’m sitting with my boyfriend and best friend, and nothing is happening but me freaking out and not knowing what time zone I’m in (In my episodes I usually “Time TRavel”)
My profile picture was years ago. Just because I'm not "old" does not mean I cant sympathize with one another. Obviously he is having a hard time and this is his life. He is so traumatized and vulnerable...so yes, the metaphor "poor baby" was the appropriate response, in my opinion. The world is so sensitive; will pick anything apart on what anyone has to say... What a shame. My comment shouldn't have stolen what the "big picture" was.
I’m so sorry, kiddo. My son was recently diagnosed. My heart goes out to you and your family. This is very brave of you to share, and is helpful to me as a support person for my son. Thank you with all of my heart. I wish you tons of great things on your recovery journey. ❤
This guy is so tough mentally. My uncle got schizophrenia and killed himself. Its not easy when you have so much shit going on in your head. Stay strong man. The voices are real but you can fight back.
It disgusts me knowing that there are people out there who would think this is fake.... this poor kid I hope he has a happy life other than this Edit: I understand why people could assume something like this is fake, but I meant like, to just flat out be like “that is so fake” and for some people to actually get mad at it? Horrible, cause you don’t even know if it really is fake or not. And, there are some people who genuinely don’t believe schizophrenia is real. It’s all just horrible
@Sugu there really are some crazy attention Whores out there that will say they have this disorder, its more common in narcissistic people I only say this cuz I know of people who faked their disorder
@Marcus Aurelius Yes sir. And in fact i have a aunt with this. They can be medicated and live a normal life. What you see on the news is the extreme of schizophrenia plus some psycopathic traces. Anyway, you have to be careful not to be rude to these people, they already suffer too much
I work with schizophrenic folk all the time. Its very rare that people are this aware of their delusions. The amount of willpower this takes is far beyond anything I could even comprehend, you're strong dude. Keep that head up.
This is low key why this looks like drug induced psychosis to me - the strong mind and awareness seem like a rather early diagnosis or something that developed a few years after intensive lsd “research”
Look up Jerry Mininsky, he interviewed hundreds of people and wrote about their voices, his conclusions, the voices are real, not hallucinations, for these people it seems some veil is lowered, enabling them hear the voices most of us just think as negative thoughts.
Yeah I know what you mean this happened to me when I took strong ass shrooms and it’s uncanny how a disease and a drug kinda affects your brain in a similar manner
It's almost like schizophrenia is when a person's random, negative subconscious thoughts are run through an amplifier and brought to the level of their conscious thoughts.
that's a simplistic view, after all no ordinary person would have thoughts about ending their own lives as much as schizos have. But I believe their hallucinations may have to do with the environment a bit and also of course their malfunctioning brain.
This honestly terrifies me the most of all. Imagine hearing voices talking to you and turn around and there is nothing there what so ever. You are incredibly brave I I hope you stay strong
In Abnormal psychology we learnt that schizophrenics hear their inner voice, which majority of the population has (when you read a book in your head and read in ur mind), but with schizophrenics they are unable to differentiate between it.
Keep your head phones on and the hope in your heart strong. Youre extremely self aware intelligent and brave. Youre honestly like a breathe of fresh air as much as it was heart breaking to watch. Stay strong❤
For anyone wondering, those voices are loud and clear, the brain can generate sensory inputs from within that are even clearer than those from your ears
Yeah, happens to me too sometimes. I'll sometimes hear my mom yelling at me from the living room very loud and clear and when I go to see what she wants, I remember I'm home alone...
Schizophrenia really scares me. Not the person only the disorder. From all the other disorders out there this one really scares the living crap out of me. Edit/update: 1/24/21 I recently got diagnosed with Bipolar. Took me a long time to internalize it. I still believe it’s a wrong diagnosis but I’m on medications. I don’t know. I really don’t know.
Me too. Watching a man's mind (eyes and ears) be his own worst enemy chills me to the bone. I've had a good number of friends that were schizophrenic. And i just had this program of brutal honesty. A couple friends, in particular, i had known so long that they knew i would tell them the truth. I read a book about D.M.T. and some early premise gave me the hunch that in some way, schizophrenics might be the healthy ones, WE are the ones that are delisional..... Idk. #onelove
i have a good friend who may not have schizophrenia but definitely has psychosis, the things he tells us he sees are more terrifying than you could imagine. images of him dead on the floor, images of him in front of him with voices telling him to kill it, and i feel like he's just telling us the lighter parts
Everyone needs to gather together & to wish God (The Creator) Allah and Yahweh, dead! He has been harassing and violently attacking all Schizophrenic & Psychosis patients in their minds including myself. Ask the people for yourself what is effecting us. It's dangerous and deadly! Please share.
@@brookenn4285bro this is not cool dont disrepect a religion even if you think its wrong and I bet you said this to make people go to Christianity but this honestly made me feel more uncomfortable with it or are you just schizophrenic too? My dad had paranoid schizophrenia - he thought things like car horns honking were a kind of secret communication system about him and this reminds me that he probably had voices telling him that, too. He passed away from cancer at just 36. Schizophrenia hit him out of the blue at like 29 or 30, and I feel terrible about what he went through.
My best friend took his life because of this disease. It’s truly insane. No clue how it works, and even if it was explained it wouldn’t make any fucking sense. I’m glad this guy knows what he’s going through, I don’t know if Matt did or not
Audio hallucinations are so much worse than visual hallucinations, this poor boy must be tormented.... what a scary thing the human brain is, I hope this kid gets all the help he can
Yep! I sometimes hallucinate (most likely a result of a lack of sleep but idk) and I used to hear babies crying. I also recently heard someone say my name from right next to me (I was sat in my room at night, alone) so that was terrifying. In terms of visual hallucinations, one time I woke up face-to-face with a ghost-like person, so either my house is haunted or I should start going to sleep earlier
My visual hallucinations are much worse than the auditory ones. Also, I'm not diagnosed with schizophrenia so right now I don't know the source of my hallucinations.
I have a friend that has schizophrenia. Whenever he is having an episode, he would focus his attention on the time. He says that focusing on something that grounds him in reality really helps him to be able to stop focusing on what's in his head. Stay strong friend, much love.
@@robbdgordon Is he already on medication? Sometimes meds need to be adjusted. If not, being unmedicated and psychotic means you are a danger to society. Therefore, you should take him to the hospital rather than having a neighbor report him and then the police drag him there. It would be easier to take him there yourself and hopefully he agrees to take the medication. If not, speaking from experience, he will be injected with tranquilizers and locked in a room until he agrees to take them orally. After discharge, he will see a psychiatrist who will manage the medication for most likely the duration of his life but some have gone off successfully with no psychosis later in life. It is an easier route to say "yes" to the medication they offer and then see the psychiatrist. I wish the same for the creator of this video.
Thank you for sharing this. Watching my mom struggle with this mental illness all throughout my childhood was so confusing and sometimes frightening. I applaud you for being so vulnerable because it helps us get one step closer to understanding the illness and how we can treat it so people like you don’t have to suffer as much.
He is okay. I was reading through the comments are someone said that he has a gaming channel and recently uploaded yesterday. His gaming channel is in the description below! Also hello fellow stay ❤️
The good thing is i dont think he talks back to the voices, and he is very much aware of his sickness which seems to help him cope with it alot better. Poor baby, i can only imagine all the fear he is constantly in.
after a surgery I had an episode of psychosis in which I heard voices, I usually responded to them on my mind (I didn't even realized that) it was a horrible experience and I think it depends on the person, for example I never heard sounds, just voices

Enigma is fantastic, also some of the most therapeutic music there is, even for chronic pain. I just love that kind of music, Enya, Hoverphonic’s song Eden is great too, and some of Moby’s tracks too I’ll admit. Music just helps me get through everything, I had been diagnosed with DiD about 20 years ago, have adhd and ocd as well. Music helps drown the voices and helps me dissociate less. I am recovering from a drug addiction that I’ve struggled with for 15 yrs, pills mainly, I had self medicated and went down a path of true insanity… smh. Keep up the good fight, know that people do care about ya man, no matter what the voices tell you. I’m subbing by the way. I’d give ya a hug if I could.
@Blindi That's such a dickheaded thing to say. Most people with this type of schizophrenia can't tell, it's hard to distinguish between what's real and what isn't, particularly if it's paired with hallucinations, which I don't think his is. These voices convince them to believe a lot of things, the intense paranoia shows that they believe these voices.
@Blindi If you heard someone calling your name from another room, you'd know they're real, becaude you can hear it, you can process it. If you hear something, you have the privilege of knowing it's real, but these people have the same sensations of hearing something, but they have to decide for themselves if they believe it or not.
Please please please don’t ever give in to what they tell you. I don’t understand what you’re going through and I can’t imagine the difficulty. I really really hope it gets better. Please know your life is important and you’re valued and you’re loved, no matter what. Just subscribed, love from Australia 🇦🇺 🩷❤️🧡💛
Guys imagine having a nightmare that only has to do with voices, Now picture that happing every day to this young man. It’s tough man, tough. Your strong dude.
That's not quite what schizophrenia is as it can involve hallucinations as well. Also not all voices are bad and evil. Some just kind of fill up space in your head with babbling. It is definitely tough though.
Extremely impressive, one might say one of a kind, if only every schizophrenic individual was aware that they were schizophrenic, and only hallucinating, and that the voices, and what not, we’re just all part of a sickness, no warped, storyline really far outside of reality that one mistakes for their actual life because they would know it is all just a hallucination
I heard vocies in my life too. I heard demons laughing, female voices, man voices that can wake me up, jokes that i wake up. Make me fear like nightmare and stuff. I also heard God speaking and he spoke in muy head not into my ear like the others. The best thing you can do is accept Jesus Christ who is God himself, pray in the name of Jesus Christ, hurt these demons, command in Jesus name fire on them, break covenants with them and command them to get out just like the apostles did after Jesus died and left them the holy spirit in the book of Acts.

Slyppery this happens to me when I'm trying to express my thoughts and I don't know if adhd can do that, i believe i've got adhd without the hyper activity
A few months ago I was SEVERLY anxious and depressed, I also had no friends because of rumors going on at school that weren’t true and I’m pretty sure everybody knew they weren’t true but they wanted a “valid” reason to hate me. Anyways because of this, one night before going to bed I heard female screams and radio static and it freaked me out so bad because I couldn’t tell the difference between reality and what I was hearing, I even asked my mum if she could hear it but once I finally realised she couldn’t I realised something wasn’t right. It came from my door, closet, window, under my bed, night stands, above me, etc. I ended up falling asleep when I realised I literally had a schizophrenic episode, the thing is I DO NOT HAVE SCHIZOPHRENIA. That was my first time experiencing anything like that, I haven’t experienced it in the present either. I truly believe when you’re under a lot of stress, it CAN LITERALLY a mess with your head (I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the brain because I read a book on schizophrenia.)
As someone who is also schizophrenic, he is not at all faking it. The people who say it’s an act, should be educated on the disorder. It’s not cool to make fun of it either.
As a student nurse, we had a mental health seminar and for us to better understand them. This is what they made us do. 3 students in 1 group 2 of us will have a conversation the other 1 is holding a rolled paper. She was holding it , the other end is on my ear while she is whispering on the other end. She was told to whisper anything. She could laugh, cry, and said whatever she wants. While me and my other classmate was talking she keeps on talking to me in my ear. And boy. I did not even notice my facial expression was changing. I furrowed my brows, I tap my ear, My head is turning away from the girl whispering to me. My classmate who was talking to me was speechless. She was told to only think that she cannot see the classmate beside me who is whispering to me. She said she can see the same expressions and signs of a pt. who has schizophrenia. Because it’s like I cannot hear what she said because of the noise my other classmate was whispering. I was losing my focus and I don’t know who should I listen. We did a rotation. She act the same. If you try it, you will see how hard it is for them to deal with schizophrenia. I hope everyone would be more understanding. Look it up and see what you can do. There are signs and symptoms. The earlier you can address it, the earlier the help would be given. Godbless .
My husband passed away from a drug overdose. He had drug induced schizophrenia. He always said things about Aztecs trying to get him. Schizophrenia, is really hard for those that go through it . I am sorry you have to deal with this ❤🥺

@@blackthunder7342 is that a fact?? I don't know tbh i don't know most ppl w schizophrenia but most ppl i know who have it (which is a very small sample) have fluctuating levels of awareness. Just like everyone else has fluctuating mental experiences, but someone who ids w schizophrenia has a harder time maintaining awareness 4 sure. But i wouldn't think that most people arent usually pretty aware of their surroundings.
The fact that he is SOOOOO self aware and able to block out the intrusive voices is phenomenal! He's strong and I am impressed by his ability to stay cognizant of his legitimate surroundings. That takes amazing willpower and I pray he finds relief and a medication regimen that will give him relief from this horrible disease. #sendingloveandprayers
Let me explain something about this condition: I have been able to induce schizophrenia by staying awake on stimulants and not sleeping adequately over the course of several weeks and this is what happens: you have auditory distortions that your brain interprets into familiar sounds, and thus you have the perception of hearing voices or sounds that are not auditory hallucinations, but distortions. Because you aren’t hearing things that are not there. That doesn’t make sense. But you are hearing things that your Brain makes you think is something else. When they phone rings he is not hearing a phone actually ring-he’s hearing something that exists in the same frequency range and timbre of a phone ringing. Which is why ppl can learn to live with this. And the paranoia is exactly what the average person who is an old house alone at night and here’s a noise experiences.
Its funny that this is exactly what the symptoms of a spirit attack by spiritual warfare are. Only Americans are so ignorant to the evidence of its reality. Anyone who has ever had a terrifing paranormal experience or lived in a haunted house has experienced this on a regular basis, either skeptics will find out and call you skitzo, or people who aren't blind will recognize he's literally being fucked with by a trickster spirit. Its sad that its obvious hes being attacked. He can reconize it is not his or a familiar voice but still a distinct voice with comprehensive messages INTERRUPTING his immediate already occupied train of thought. Its sad how big pharma has created a mental pacifier for anyone who doesnt want to believe in supernatural realities and sad how normal people being paranormally targeted can be push into a bubble of medicated misunderstanding that would make ANYONE at least consider suicide trying to convince people they arent crazy.
I'm a psychologist who has witnessed many individuals experience positive symptoms of psychosis, such as what is happening here with the auditory hallucinations (voices). His presentation is very consistent with the actively psychotic individuals I've worked with and does not, at all, appear to be superficial. Notice as he is trying to speak clearly, how he has to pause and "zone out" for a brief moment as he tries to really focus on what he is saying (imagine trying to convey a clear message with other people yelling in your ears...not an easy task). Most who are afflicted with this illness really struggle to cope with their episodes, so I am extremely impressed with this young man's insight and understanding as to what is occurring. I hope he is doing well.
@@marionminettecamillon9321 I think it's positive because it makes them feel connected and they can see how much support this young man has recieved. I’m leaning on the complexity of the human brain tbh, so much we don’t know about the human psyche
The fragility of the human brain on schizophrenia*
Mhm.
Fragile, yet it always happens because of a reason. Commonly because of maybe childhood trauma or even genetic. It’s terrible watching him go through this but it’s a great sign that he’s talking through it. If I knew this guy I wouldn’t this he’s crazy, respect.
Intelligence has not only good advantages
The fact that he's aware that he's imagining all this is quite fascinating. He is a strong minded fellow with a very unfortunate sickness.
yeah my dad has this sickness and he was absloutley crazy but he finally took metication and hes talking to "people' he says and he dose that alot and says hes not crazy
It means is not sick 😂. Trust me !

My cousin has this disorder I watch and listen to his responses it is a constant battle of thoughts magnified
*as if your intrusive thoughts have taken over your conciseness

If not, speaking from experience, he will be injected with tranquilizers and locked in a room until he agrees to take them orally. After discharge, he will see a psychiatrist who will manage the medication for most likely the duration of his life but some have gone off successfully with no psychosis later in life. Crazy how he knows the voices are not real but he can still hear them
Blindi as it progresses you start to believe they are real, that’s the problem with this mental illness. Along with other manifestations of course.
What if he’s u intentionally channeling beings ?

My bro has schizophrenia and has a very hard time trying to sleep. He's calmer now with meds.
That's not quite what schizophrenia is as it can involve hallucinations as well. Also not all voices are bad and evil. Some just kind of fill up space in your head with babbling. It is definitely tough though.

man he just needs to listen to Quran and all the voices will go away he just never trys it..
Imagine consciously staying lucid while your own mind is actively working against you. Your willpower is very impressive my man.
for real

3 students in 1 group
2 of us will have a conversation
the other 1 is holding a rolled paper.

@@MarioEstevez-re1usshut up your meth induced sleep deprevation is not schizophrenia
Do you know what religion did to these people before science came to explain what's going on in our brains?
You mean love and scientific hypothesis?
I’ve had schizophrenia since I was very young, it’s very hard. It’s nice to know that other people go through the same thing. Keep going man! ❤
