Cat Pastel Portrait | PanPastel + Pastel Pencils on Pastelmat

In this video you can see the process of how I currently work on animal pastel portraits. I am usually not adding too much detail in the fur, and a small drawing like this will take no longer than an afternoon.
Materials I used:
Pastelmat paper
PanPastel applied with Sofft Tools
Carbothello pastel pencils

Aww! Looks so much like my dearly departed kitty (he lived to 20 years old). I'm more of a watercolorist but am always impressed by pastel artists. Thanks for sharing, L.
