- Life in Vancouver as a UBC Student 2017 known as University of British Columbia.
Living in Vancouver there are three main schools you chose being UBC, SFU, or Lanagara - so here's my take on going to university.

it's never too late but tbh school of life is much more practical
Im at uni in the UK... my family might be moving to Vancouver in a year or so.. so i will be coming with them.. so im lookig at UBC!
+Arabella Baker stay tuned for part 2! 🙏
Wow. Really amazing college. The freaking nest almost looks like a mall area...Surely blows the crap out of my current college's nest, but maybe that's because my current college is a community college. Not sure if I wanna transfer to uni yet.
definitely I'd say the best looking University in British Columbia. Community college = smaller classrooms, more connection in my sense - where Uni you can feel anonymous b/c it's much more populated.
I was kinda surprised when i heard that 40 hrs a week in work, or in school is seen as a lot. I live in Poland and i was always prepared that good paying job with only 40 hrs a week, i mean real 40 hrs without unpaid overtime, cuz yeah, it happens, is a dream job. And also im used to more than 40hrs a week as a high school student. For example, this year i have lessons 5 times a week, 3 times from 8 am to 3:30 pm + transport home, about 45 min, and 2 times from 8 am to 6:30 pm + 45 min of transport. Also i have to get up at 6:20 am to catch my train at 6:50am, so i leave my home at 6:30am and im back at about 5 pm 3 times a week and almost at 8 pm 2 times. And this time dont include study time which i have to do after school. Im not trying to complain, despite that it probably sound like that. I just wanted to say that when i heard that 40 hrs a week is seen as a lot i thought "wow, this is my dream place to be". Of course its a little simplified, there are a lot more reasons that i would love to live in Van, but this is not my point in this comment.
