So interesting that the places I lived at (Hamber House in Place Vanier) is now considered "old"
For 11:30, I'd agree in how "Vancier commonsblock has my heart" since I'd never forget my first year at university.

i’m not super sure on the mattress covers as every residence is a little different. regarding the laundry incidents, i don’t think stealing is super common but you should still stay alert and aware of the fact that it CAN get stolen. so setting timers to pick up ur laundry right away, or staying around the laundry room during your load if you’re really sketched out would be best 👍🏻

Hey, the video helped me a lot so thanks for that. Just one question. Can people lock the bathroom door from their own side for the single-connected rooms? so it creates a safe space?
hey! unfortunately, there isn’t a lock on the bedroom side of the door, but you can lock both doors in the bathroom from the inside:(

i found facebook marketplace and joining facebook groups to be the most helpful!!! other websites you could use are craigslist and zumper, but i found that it’s harder to get a quick response from those websites

hey!! sorry i don’t know too much about this so i can’t really answer your question but i’m guessing it should depend on whether you are graduated highschool or not (aka your highschool credits) 😚

hi:) i wasn’t in ib and i didn’t take any AP classes! however, i did have around a 96% average in high school with a lot of extra curriculars which is what i think helped me get into ubc🙏
Do you think it is hard to get into UBC?
