Thank you for the walk through and the link to the lights. Straight forward - no tricks needed. I used the link and ordered and install the LEDs per your direction. Not sure if you mentioned it - but the LEDs are directional in the sense that the if you put then in and they do not work - you have to rotate the bulb or the socket 180 degrees. Also - the these LEDs are crazy bright to compared to OEM. if I dim them down I loose the lighted instrument panel w// oem bulbs. In hindsight - I should have gone w/ the green led option to match. BUT - I'm frign glad I can see the climate control and 4wd buttons at night again!

@Mo Wahidi I noticed in your vid that the light is not working for the air settings did that just happen or did you need to replace that bulb mine just went out but the light still works in that slotted area.
I recently Changed out my bulbs to leds and developed a creaky noise. Never had any noise before this. Did it happened to you? I’ve took it apart many times to try and make the noise go away but nope. I would’ve never changed the bulbs if I knew my dash would start creaking after. Driving me crazy!!
I am sorry that happened to you! I don't have any creaky noise anywhere is my sequoia except in the cargo area when I drive. its just old plastic. but make sure nothing on the inside like wiring or anything like that is rubbing. most of the time you have any noise its some plastic loose. let me know if this helps you any!

Hey do you recall which bulb the ash tray was? Forums seem to say it is a 74, I'd assume it is a T5 like you did with the footwell in your other video, I replaced my footwell with a 74 and assumed the same would fit, but I can't get it to go into the socket no matter what. Not really sure how the terminology differs lol.
i don't remember if replace the ash tray bulb but if it calls for a 74/t5 should fit. only thing i can think of is sometimes the led bulbs don't fit. but you could try a led bulb that is made like the factory bulb. hope this helps

@@MoWahidi just wish the screen between the two knobs would light up….don’t know why but it won’t, after I changed them out, I swapped them and everything…..maybe I didn’t turn the key the first time to make sure they worked so I swapped them with the incorrect polarity.
ATTENTION: The T4.2 neo wedge LED bulbs from Amazon fit my 2003 and 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited trucks for PRND21 and overdrive. If the bulb doesn't work, take out and turn 180° and reinstall. They are much less expensive than regular bulbs and much brighter.
Awesome video with some alternative illumination options :). Has anyone or Mo :), had any issues with those running hot inside the housing possibly burning it over time? I love LED's but car plastics are questionable at times :) Thank you Mo for an awesome video.
you mean the gauge cluster? there is a way to change the gauge cluster i think they take 5 t5 led bulbs and there are a couple of good videos on them. i have a late model 2007 so i have SMD lights that are LED.
I have done this and running these leds kept blowing my fuze 7.5amp even blew out my instrument cluster lights and I was not able to use my heater and ac. I put back the original lights and everything was fine DO THIS WITH CAUTION ⚠️

FYI for anyone doing this on a. Tundra Removing the unit is different on the tundra, there are 3 screws behind the control buttons that need to come out too. Maybe it’s just the model sr5

Yeah they are really bright i have to dim them down on long night drives.

does the clock and Ac screen come out white or are they still green
they do come out white
the clock still stays green unfortunately its a Digital clock I haven't found a way to change it

yeah it will be ICE blue the LED is colors is pretty accurate

Do you keep the colored sleeve and put them over the white led bulbs or buy the colored led bulbs?
you don't use the green sleeves you just buy colored LED bulbs whatever color you want.

Thank you! no LEDs take less power than regular light bulbs that's. and they only turn on when the headlights are on.
Question. Just did this and it doesn't seem like the screen portion lights up. Are the bulbs good for that? Everything else lights up great though

Do you have to get blue and red colored ones for the temp control ?
no the temp controls have a factory blue and red tint on them so you can choose any color LED and they will still be Blue and Red

Im glad i could help! I had no issues with them getting hot or burning out they have been pretty good so far.
LEDs run cooler than incandescents as a general rule.

I have not had any problems with it you might have a short in the system
Is the color white or warm white?
the color is 6000K white LED if you go to the link you can see all the colors they offer for those T5 bulbs.
How come the clock and AC indicator screen have no light?
The truck was off that's why it was not illuminated. I had it on half a click in the ignition but they do light up when it is on.

I used a small piece of duck tape wrapped it around the bulb popped right out
