I’ve done the headlights, taillights, tag lights, fog lights, map, door, and dome lights swapped to led. I kept the turn signals halogen, but I’m about to do the dash lights. I’m not sure yet if I want to do the center stack lights on my 04 Sequoia. I’m VERY happy with the ones I’ve done though !!!!
You can actually wet sand off the green on the back of the console. I did it on mine. As you mentioned though, taking that apart is not worth it. I ended up not putting the needles on in their correct position so they aren't reading right. Pain in the butt. The challenge with the LED bulbs in the AC control is that they're way brighter than the gauge cluster so night driving is a nightmare - they're just so so bright. To get the AC to a managable brightness, the gauge cluster is basically off. A full bulb swap in the 2004 and earlier is great but sucks for us with 2005 and later. I ended up swapping back to halogen.
What if you went with a colored led bulb instead of white, do you think that would make a difference (less bright)? I prefer green over the white but I see what you’re saying because I have to have the brightness all way up to even see my cluster lights. Are the cluster lights soldered in?
@@kahoonei_strongI don’t think it would. The LED’s are quite bright and definitely much brighter than the cluster. Yeah the cluster are soldered in on the 2005+.
On older Sequoia and Tundra's, when pulling the center panel, be sure to pull it straight out. The clips get brittle with age and break if you are not careful!
If I remember correctly, there was someone on a facebook Toyota forum that removed the film on the back of the instrument cluster with q-tip and alcohol. worth a shot if you've opened it already. . .
Just so you know. The rear A/C control module. It has a little screen like in the front A/C module. You can actually change the rear screen color. Same led bulb. Just remove that one cover. Hope this helps. ALSO, you can change the roof button colors. The buttons that are next to your sun roof switches, the ones that control that screen up there. They have little bulbs that can be replaced. But you can not change that screen color. Ask me how I know. Let me find the bulb size for those I’ll reply to my comment.
ATTENTION: The T4.2 neo wedge bulbs fit my 2003 and 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited trucks for the PRND21 and overdrive. Turn 180° if bulb doesn't light up and reinstall.
@@luis5X_O Oh nice! Thanks for confirming! I switched out all but the two ones above driver/passenger head. Button are broken :-( Have you ever had to replace that mechanism before?
Thanks. You saved me from a big headache. I will definitely swap the other panels though. Appreciate your videos.

Dang that’s a bummer. I guess I’ll stick to the original style bulbs so they’ll at least look the same. Thanks for the heads up
Where did you get the bulbs

Thanks for the good advice! I’ll be sure to keep that in mind
Hey thank you so much for the video! Also where might I order a new center panel for the radio ac?
eBay is probably your best bet
What size lights are the park drive neutral reverse bult in the cluster.
Please
Where can I get those lights.
What's the brand and where did you purchase these bulbs?

Did you replace the Mirrors switch to LED'S as well ? Didn't see that on video.
Thanks

They are T4.2 bulbs. Be careful with them the new ones will fit tho. The ones I got on Amazon are WLJH T4.2 Neo Wedge LEDs

good vid. do you know if there is a way to make the light around the key cylinder run continously even if the doors are closed?
What size is the key fob bulb? And I wonder if you can change the cigarette light color
is there link to the bulbs used in the video?
Are the LED's too bright at night? I'm considering this but hesitant when considering how bright and distracting they might be at night.
There's a dimmer...?
Can you link the kit you used for the cluster lights?
Is there a link foe those led lights?
Anyone seen a video to replace mirrors switch with LED'S. On Sequoia 1st gen. ?
Can you still dim the LED lights once installed? Are all of the led bulbs the same for all of the Gauge Panel and Center Panel? Thanks!!!
Yes

Do you find the white light is too bright at night? If so, is there a way to dim them?
Yes you have a knob on the left of the steering wheel that has a needle and it looks like a circle

@ me no I haven’t I just ordered my leds so when I replace and check but never had tho
Any Idea about white background for speedo? There's an opening in that market, I think!
Can you elaborate more? I'm not sure what you mean.
@@trailrunnercustomsI think he wants white-faced gauges. There were some somewhere a few years back.
Unless you got surgical hands I would leave this alone.
@@SEQUOIALOVER2002 You have to admit, the gauges are difficult to see in the sunlight. I'm surprised they passed Toyota's QC.
