I'm getting invisalign this week and the video was really helpful. So many people say the pain is terrible so it's good to hear a different perspective.
Yeh everyone else said it was painful so my mind was prepared to be in extreme pain lol but turns out it was mild soreness initially and the more I wore them the less soreness I felt. I hope your journey was as smooth as mine

Did she get extractions
Mine was $7999. My Ortho has a set rate, regardless of ur smile. she has 3 different packages ( silver, platinum, gold) and you get to choose ur own package based on ur preference ( amount of retainers, virtual visits, early appointments, Saturday appointments etc.) I chose the cheapest one. Currently waiting for my trays to get in!

I went to a consultation for my bite and Invisalign was brought up. I had braces when I was a teenager and they were a pain! Now that I have the option for Invisalign I’m leaning more towards those than traditional braces. My issue with braces was not being able to keep my teeth as clean as they should’ve been and now that my teeth care has improved, I want to be able to brush and floss without hassle.
I totally get it, Invisalign’s have been so helpful and gave me so much flexibility. I wish you all the best on your journey!
Thank you for making this! I’m on Day 2 and feeling a bit self conscious about the not-so-invisible attachments at the front of my teeth making the Invisalign tray less invisible. How was it for you? Did you eventually just get used to it, and were you able to get the orthodontist to bc remove them part way? (I couldn’t see your attachments in this video)
I use to be conscious of the ones on my front teeth as well, but they were just a part of my treatment. I have attachments on every teeth 😅. I think because we know they are there we are more concerned with how they look but most people don’t even notice them.
I have them on almost every tooth too! Aw you’re right, the more I’m used to it the more I care less. Thank you for your reassurance!!

Did u have to have any extraction? Remove wisdom or premolars ? Before getting ivisalign
I had removed all 4 wisdom teeth years before getting Invisaligns. No additional extraction was required.

Did you need any extractions? I had a consultation last week. I also have an open bite and was also told my case is severe, and that Invisalign is better for open bites than metal braces. But they said I might need 4 teeth removed and im trying to avoid that.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed before I did this process. I am not sure if that is why I didn’t need any additional extractions

My trays have been delayed before as well. So annoying - but u will love them when they arrive!
Hello, thank you for sharing your journey. Mine is a year already and my bite is not closed yet, I lost my last tray from my last set at the delivery room 2 weeks ago. I feel like they opened back and I didn’t get the elastic too. I don’t know if my orthodontist doesn’t know what to do or he’s just taking things too slow. Please need your advice
Hey! It is probably worth expressing your concerns to your orthodontist. At certain points during my treatment my teeth looked a bit crazy, but it eventually came together

Oh I expressed my concerns to my orthodontist and I requested for the elastics, I started two weeks ago and my bites are almost closed that’s how fast it worked.
I have an open bite and I would love to get mine fixed, how did you find the right orthodontic?
