Intelligent young man. Well done Mum and Dad!!. You got it right❤🙌.
The part were he said as a child arriving in SA he felt different, particularly the different language, reminded me of my 2 baby sisters. We are from Zimbabwe. However, because Mum is a Diplomat, they moved to DRC/Kinshasa at the tender ages of 4 and 6. I'm older than them by15/17. So, I had already moved to the UK by then after school in Zimbabwe.
I remember asking them one day , so how did you guys end up with so many friends who speak a different language from us. We speak Shona and English. My Sisters replied by saying that because they wanted friends, they learnt both French and Lingala whilst playing and at school. I found it really touching. Fast forward18 years later my baby sisters speak and write 4 Languages fluently. So proud, and it opens them up to more opportunities in this global world we currently live in.❤🙏#blessed

I so love his positive energy towards everything he encounters in life, good or bad doesn't matter. I wish all black foreigners to have this positive mind and I wish all south africans can fill their minds that Africa is for us all, we're African no matter the boundaries or country you from, we all are one. Also I wish they could learn that South Africa doesn't only belong to them and other white foreigners whom they don't point out in public like they do to black foreigners but to all of us, it's not your land its OUR land. I wish them to recognize and accept we're all the same and our uniqueness, no matter your skin color. "South Africa belongs to everyone who lives in it" don't forget Nelson Mandelas' words.

This interview was enlightening. Although I think the comments regarding xenophobia were a bit light touch because he has such a positive attitude. Xenophobia is such a big thing in SA unfortunately. It is very sad considering fellow Africans died to fight for South Africas freedom. Perhaps more emphasis needs to be placed in history lessons at school of the collaborative effort of african countries like Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia etc to assist our beloved South Africans in the struggle to freedom from Apartheid.

@@mazwideamahle4091 I disagree what you are saying that everyone is Xenophobic. I have travelled a lot and my understanding in Africa is foreigners are generally welcomed. The levels of Xenophobia where people are being burned etc is not experienced elsewhere. My father is a Cardiologist and has given so many free surgeries , consultations, medical care for people. He spends half of his week doing this yet he has been told by people that he is stealing jobs in SA. There is a shortage in certain skills too. Mass immigration is normal and shouldn't be feared. Look at first world countries such as UK, Canada, US. Not all people coming in to the country are skilled but they value the labour and expertise that foreign experiences and knowledge bring. Foreigners are not able to claim government assistance so they are literally not taking away local peoples money . The world is now global. The attitude of holding onto what is mine will set back such a beautiful country like SA back.

i hate it when Africans says someone is eloquent just because they can speak English well. Can't someone be eloquesnt without speaking ENGLISH?

I'm one of the people who actually said he is eloquent and for me it had NOTHING to do with the language being used. It's how the story/events are being narrated.

@@Munei_Twin BUT SERIOUSLY, maybe I should have said "I don't understand people who say someone is eloquent when s/he speak good English." I am not hating on this chap, it was just a thought, I understand that the guy is only 28 years old hey. So I don't expect hardcore stuff from him. Its only my thoughts hey

A person can be eloquent speaking any language but in this case, Harmony is speaking English 🤷‍♀️ plus it's not entirely about how well you speak, I think it's a matter of how he expresses himself, body language and everything

Boring for me , Relebogile is asking specific question and the context is South African languages, so this guy shy away from direct answer, he talks about being all over the world, that was ingenuine cause all over the world people wont assume that you are from South Africa or Congo or Nigeria, but in South Africa they will assume that you know local languages
