I think this was probably supposed to be a heavy episode but man, this man's attitude makes it so much lighter. I laughed here and there. He is so eloquent. Another bomb delivery.
I am Tanzanian I went to varsity at UCT and it's true Bantu languages are very similar,I remember picking up words from xhosa/tswana and Zulu that sounded like words in Swahili...
I worked with Drs from DRC, Nigeria, Rwanda and nurses from Zimbabwe and Zambia who really had a good impact in SA. Even those who are having dual citizenship they are really representing SA well in the middle East.
Intelligent young man. Well done Mum and Dad!!. You got it right❤🙌. The part were he said as a child arriving in SA he felt different, particularly the different language, reminded me of my 2 baby sisters. We are from Zimbabwe. However, because Mum is a Diplomat, they moved to DRC/Kinshasa at the tender ages of 4 and 6. I'm older than them by15/17. So, I had already moved to the UK by then after school in Zimbabwe. I remember asking them one day , so how did you guys end up with so many friends who speak a different language from us. We speak Shona and English. My Sisters replied by saying that because they wanted friends, they learnt both French and Lingala whilst playing and at school. I found it really touching. Fast forward18 years later my baby sisters speak and write 4 Languages fluently. So proud, and it opens them up to more opportunities in this global world we currently live in.❤🙏#blessed

Jokes aside love his mentality and humility, he constantly chooses being optimistic more than being pessimistic, no self pity here but all round lessons and positivity! 🤌🏾❤️. Also it made sense when he said he is a motivational speaker 😂.
When he said" wuuuu Hai" you can tell he's a real rooted South African😹. I so love his positive energy towards everything he encounters in life, good or bad doesn't matter. I wish all black foreigners to have this positive mind and I wish all south africans can fill their minds that Africa is for us all, we're African no matter the boundaries or country you from, we all are one. Also I wish they could learn that South Africa doesn't only belong to them and other white foreigners whom they don't point out in public like they do to black foreigners but to all of us, it's not your land its OUR land. I wish them to recognize and accept we're all the same and our uniqueness, no matter your skin color. "South Africa belongs to everyone who lives in it" don't forget Nelson Mandelas' words.
I'm so impressed by his positive attitude, open heart, intelligence and growth mindset. I'm sure he, and his family, must have had many struggles, but he voices only the important part: positivity, using everything as an opportunity to grow and being well rooted (a beautiful self confidence while staying humble). Again, a beautiful interview. He got the right questions and space to shine ❤
