Second time it was Easter weekend, my flatmate who's also a friend and I hosted our collueges for the weekend so they wanted to explore the pta night life. I was honestly not in the mood but my flatmate insisted that we go her bf will drive us to Moloko around 23h, on arrival they changed their mind and said they're not staying so it's either they drop us at the flat or we'll über back home. Collueges obviously didn't wanna go home so we stayed behind. When it was time to leave we tried über and taxify but there were no drivers available, no meter taxi near the club I think because most people went home for Easter. Eventually some guy heard us stressing and offered us a lift. Sharp it was 6 of us, we got inside his A3 and drove off. As he was driving motho took a different direction and I asked where we going coz that's def not town, he just said he's taking a short cut. Hai next thing we approaching centurion, he then said we going to a party in midrand then he'll bring us back. We obviously declined but he kept driving. Next thing we in midrand and we asked him to drop us on the road bi he didn't stop. Passed garages and he still wouldn't stop. Next thing we approaching leeufontein, it was my first time there. The time is now 3am and we on the gravel road at that moment. He suddenly stopped ko some electric station to pee and it was very dark, no streetlights, no houses nex. Our phones were also off. That was our chance to escape, we ran in those dark bushes till we reached house and a complex. Got into the complex and found someone still up watching TV. There we are in our short dresses and heels, the guy obviously interrogated us before opening, it was 4 of us at that moment coz 2 of our friends took a different direction. He made coffee and let us charge our phones, tried calling our friends but their phones were off. Eventually they sent location, they were at some security gate. The guy who accommodated us went to fetch them with 2 of my friends.on arrival they told us the securities told them not to trust anyone in that area, not even the police coz they work with the traffickers and we were just lucky that we didn't go to the police. Apparently when you get to the police station they pretend to help you and take you straight to the kidnappers
SAPS in not helping!!i believe as a Police officer you have to be mindful and have Psychological mind to understand what is the main issue of people who are coming to report crime and stop following the so-called standard procedure because that is not the main case brought by victims...losing a phone is nothing compared to losing a life. And the nurses were supposed to help with councelling , checking heart rate , blood level to make sure everyone is healthy or depressed and give advises on how to overcome state of wellbeing.
This is soo scary😭😭 I take taxis everyday and it's so common to be transferred to another taxi for whatever reason and we don't even ask questions yooo😭😭
With all these interviews, the programme has so much to be a mouth piece for the ones not getting justice. For those ill treated in public sections especially hospitals and The Police. The stories keeps on piling up on how the system is failing us. I wish one day all these interviews are used to show our politicians of what ordinary citizens go through in this country.
Am glad this family survived this dramatic experience but wonder how many women did these perpetrators hurt, maybe they are still around us killing, raping or doing unthinkable crimes to women. We really living with monsters in this country.
Sounds like the 2 police were involved. They wanted to know what valuable things the family left with the guy working for them so they can demand that from him.
I am so sorry for what happened to this family. We thank God He protected them. I think they need to go for counciling and healing. Trauma is not a joke. It just does not go way. It's lying there dormant and they might get triggers. I pray God will bring complete healing🙏🏾
I’m shook, but I commend the bravery of these women. Her strength is comforting to me but I wish she had not experienced such at her tender age. She’s is so brave and beautiful.
Our justice system fails us time after time. We feel so helpless. God be with your children. Thanx sis Lebo for showing us what exactly is happening around us so we can be more alert and vigilant 🙏❤
Truly there is God that hears and answers prayer. I pray that one day justice will take it's cause. I pray for full recovery to you and your family dearest..
You can feel the fear as she narrates the story. It is really dissapointing that the police didn't pay attention to their experience but thank God they managed to get away.
Sisi you are brave and beautiful...and I thank God your life and your family's life was spared. I am sad and angry that this happened to you. Thank you for sharing your story. May God continue to bless you and protect you. ❤
You know what I've noticed with most of these traumatic stories on the podcast, especially things that happen to women? Is that the justice system and how the police and hospitals conduct themselves in general is just pure garbage. The stories are too similar but it's different women....I think that's what terrifies me the most. The fact that we (women) in this country are literally collateral damage no matter how you look at it.
Nothing will happen until we (women) fix it ourselves...we need to take our government to task...we need to say it's enough...we can't be prisoners and prey in our country for the rest of our lives and have our daughters go through the same nonsense...to what end? A country with an GBV endemic and the Department of Women, Youth and people with disabilities is not the busiest...I don't even know who heads it...but rest assured it gets a budget every year
There is God 🙏thank you for sharing your story and it’s a lesson to look out when traveling using taxi or hiking, and so sad some police officers are not serious and hospitals as well don’t attend patients who need emergency quick.
I still remember on 2 occasions. First 1 I was from mams on a Sunday, we filled up a taxi and off to town. When we got to the highway suddenly the taxi started having problems and the driver stopped, he then told us he'll call for a backup. Hardly 3 min 3 guys came out of nowhere wearing reflectors comin straight to our taxi, we thought they're coming to help. They had guns and ordered everyone to take out their bags and phones but surprisingly they never demanded money from the driver. Just after they fled another taxi came and took us to town. Thinking about it when I got home it clicked gore entlek it was a setup
What pains me most about this story is the fact that there are people who are not so lucky on a daily basis & are living a nightmare because of such animals in our midst.
You can tell she’s still traumatised from the sound of her voice while telling the story. This episode was really an eye opener. Love and light to her ❤️

Oh sorry my sister I can see you still feel the pain. Those people are evil more than animals. We thank God for your life. We need more prayers because you are living among those people I like that.

I cannot wrap my head around the fact that how many times did he succeed...how many women are missing, abducted, killed, sold.....this is too much
I'm glad you made it out alive. Very scary
A lot needs to change in this country .
This is traumatic. I am glad they are safe and it is so unfortunate that the perpetrators are still out there
I want to hug her soo bad... I pray that they find healing as a family and indeed God is there
I've learned that prayer is powerful 🙌🙌
SAPS in not helping!!i believe as a Police officer you have to be mindful and have Psychological mind to understand what is the main issue of people who are coming to report crime and stop following the so-called standard procedure because that is not the main case brought by victims...losing a phone is nothing compared to losing a life. And the nurses were supposed to help with councelling , checking heart rate , blood level to make sure everyone is healthy or depressed and give advises on how to overcome state of wellbeing.
They seriously need to consider IQ test before hiring in both departments because wow!
People join the police force mostly because they are not employed. The love for the work and the calling to serve is not there.
I am so glad for the prayer that you guys made at that point🙏
Listening to this story was a lot, imagine going through all of this?!!! My God!!! This is traumatic!!! Yhu i hope they received counseling!!!
This is soo scary😭😭 I take taxis everyday and it's so common to be transferred to another taxi for whatever reason and we don't even ask questions yooo😭😭
I'M FROM THE USA AND WE DON'T TRANSFER TO ANOTHER CAB THIS DON'T HAPPEN
Props to this show we learning a lot hle 😍😍❤️❤️🙏
Relebogile is always on point ❤️ I love her and the way she dresses 🥺❤️ again she's such a good woman
🇧🇼
I'm a guy and I don't ever wish this horrible thing to happen to any womam in this world 😪....
Some of the police officers are actually working with those people💔
Sounds like the 2 police were involved.
This is always my fear. I never rest inside a taxi until I arrive where I am going. Coz even passengers can be in it. I'm sorry girl ❤
Our justice system fails us time after time. We feel so helpless. God be with your children. Thanx sis Lebo for showing us what exactly is happening around us so we can be more alert and vigilant 🙏❤
No idea how she spoke coz I cried the whole time. I am sorry you went through all that with your family
We are terrorized in OUR own country...😞💔💔💔
Truly there is God that hears and answers prayer. I pray that one day justice will take it's cause. I pray for full recovery to you and your family dearest..
You can feel the fear as she narrates the story. It is really dissapointing that the police didn't pay attention to their experience but thank God they managed to get away.
I'm so glad the perpetrators didn't get what they wanted, imagining what could've happened is daunting really.
What a cruel world we live in, thank you Father for saving their souls🙌
Thank God You and Your family made it out alive 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
A country with an GBV endemic and the Department of Women, Youth and people with disabilities is not the busiest...I don't even know who heads it...but rest assured it gets a budget every year
Oooh Inno my baby💛 So glad that you and your family are okay. Sending you a great big hug😭😭😭
God is so faithful 😢 whenever we call on him 🥺🙌🏽🙌🏽
Ohw! I want to give her a hug😔 I was mugged a few months ago and I'm still even traumatised
Wow...people are evil
it certainly was sis 💔
Thank you Lebo this is a lesson
Oh bethuna! I wish her and her family healing in every way ❤️
May God continue to bless and keep you all safe.
Thank you for educating us!
God protect everyone watching this 🤍
What pains me most about this story is the fact that there are people who are not so lucky on a daily basis & are living a nightmare because of such animals in our midst.
You can tell she’s still traumatised from the sound of her voice while telling the story. This episode was really an eye opener. Love and light to her ❤️
Traumatising even to me as a listener. Receive my warmest and tightest hug. Thats the best you can get at this moment. I also hail God for preserving your beautiful souls
I am so sorry she and her family had to go through that. The police were no help and the hospital was inadequate. Very dangerous situation. Trafficking is real.
This is scary and one of my fears, imagine being in a country where no one speaks your language! I pray for continued healing and protection upon you and your family. SAPS? I have no words, thought these cops were only on Gomora...
I have realized that most of the guests that have stories involving our police officers are always not receiving solutions and they complain of the way they handle situations and cases. What is happening with our policing systems? This is very disappointing indeed
Shooo SAPS is a joke we are not safe. May God strengthen you and your family
A BIG FAT JOKE
Oh sorry my sister I can see you still feel the pain. Those people are evil more than animals. We thank God for your life. We need more prayers because you are living among those people I like that.
So sad. Keep safe guys.
I am glad you all are fine.. We thank God
I'm glad you and your family survived to tell your story... And so sorry for what happened to you....
Inno you once told me this story and I'm glad you good 😭😭😭she is very strict she does take details
Chest pains i am experiencing while watching this..i am so sorry sisi, i am glad you are safe with your family.God indeed lives
SAPS is useless maan!! They make me angry.
We live in such a wicked world. The people who are supposed to help us they don't care. I'm glad that her and her family managed to escape
Prayer Prayer Prayer 🙏 We thank God for your Lives, I pray that the Holy spirit comforts and heals your family.😭😭😭
I'm so paranoid to a point I now even share my live location to my Family and immediately archive those messages incase I get abducted.
Its a sad story. Thanks God for their lives
Guys, how do we fix our country?? How do we influence change in our police and health system. Systems that are meant to service this country's citizens. It cannot be that serious cases go unsolved. Do we now as victims have to pay bribes so we can get our cases solved??? Hhaai bo!! I'm listening to this and I am so traumatised.
Zimbambweans and Mozambicans speak Zulu guys. Where would a Zulu from eDududu have taken them?? Think about it. If this girl didn't act, they would have been outside our boarders. We need change South Africans. We cannot keep hearing such horrific stories and then nothing. Hhhaai ngeke I am so hurt and tired shame. Theft??? Theft?? Kanjani when its so clear that this was abduction/ trafficking. Hhhaay no man.
We need God waitsi, back to our Maker on our knees 🙌
Too many women and CHILDREN are being sex trafficked and raped. I’m so sad. The war on women in SA is so terrifying 🙏🏾💔💔💔 those babies deserve justice
I once requested an uber and along the way the the driver diverted the route and i asked why are we changing the the route he said he is avoiding traffic and i was not familia with that route which he took, i quickly shared my live location with hubby just in case something happens.
Yes very clever to share your location. Was it Uber or Bolt?
@@khdbh431 she clearly said Uber.
