I was once shot during shop robbery. The trauma that follows the incident is too much. Little things like a teaspoon falling off a table triggers you. Paranoia and anxiety attacks.

This story is so heartbreaking and disheartening on so many levels. Firstly when u live in a complex one of the main reasons is thinking you’re safer than what u would be in a stand alone . Yes, this is so heartbreaking. I don't understand why these criminals enjoy killing people just like that. They don't just steal or hijack you but they shoot to kill after. Just last week, my friends mom was shot at her home, she was just taking a bath. They jumped over the gate, shot her and stole her car. They also stole anything they could. They even tried to shoot her daughter but she managed to escape. As we speak her mom is no more. Instead of just stealing a car, they had to go to the bathroom to shoot her, no one knows them. Thanks to our government. SA is really dangerous.

My sister, her husband and their 2 kids died of the 3rd degree burns in their shack and my nephews died instantly, then followed my bro in law. The doctors kept telling me not to tell my sister that they passed away and every time she asked me where they were I kept lieying and she told me I must stop lieying because she can she can sense that they have died. She told me to delay the burial and wait for her so she could be buried with her and then said her goodbyes. A week later she passed on and we buried them all at the same time. This was and still is devastating and I miss them.

@@nette2144 robbed thriced twice coming from work once going to workthey broke into my house a gated complex too cleaned my house the finger prints were taken and curculated that proved who did that non South Africans 😓😓😓only one the guys finger prints could be traced in a gated complex
@@khomotsophokanoka8533 I used to live in Musina working for a local mine. I got home and found my house empty. I mean empty! I felt so violated. Relocated to Joburg thereafter. Did it stop!! Absolutely Not! Hijacked once at 39weeks pregnant! A few blocks from the Sandton Medi Clinic in broad daylight! Had to be induced because I was so stressed and my BP shot up. Our country has been taken over by criminals. Violent criminals nogal!!

Criminals know what damage they do in people's lives. The trauma and brokenness. It takes a lot for one to heal from such a traumatic event, it's these things that causes depression. I'm so hurt by his story. A man lost a wife, a daughter lost a mom. A home broken all because of robbery. Parents lost a child. It's so heartbreaking.
As if they care for them is nothing to kill and take what doesn't belong ro them
Only death penalty will save us at this point

Was once held hostage. I was deep in my sleep and all of "Sunday", ngivuswa umuntu i've never seen before. I really thought it was a bad dream. Like ngath ngingavuka, liphele. That night something in me died. I don't know what it is but I can feel it ukuth ngiyashoda. I over analyze situations and struggle to sleep at night. I know the feeling of begging an intruder not to take your life. Listening this brings back the anger.
I hope you still pray and believe in GOD my brother. I lost all of that that night. So many unanswered questions.

A similar thing happened to a couple I know. They also met in varsity and got married, had a child. The wife was shot dead during a house robbery. Very sad thing to go through. Praying for Lwandi’s healing

I hate crime, I hate gratuitously violent crimes. He said take anything you want everything is insured just don't hurt is, but they shot her and they shot him too.

Father of my one and only child was murdered last year in September and he was shot more than 4 times in his head and he also lost his eye, this interview just takes me back to the day I received the news 💔😭 The past 5 months have been very hard and its still is, on some of the days I just feel like crashing my head on the wall and all the pain and thoughts will be gone and I'll be at peace too but then again I think about this little guy I'm left with , I know how its feels Lwandi sending Love and strength to you and your family.. Lwandi bro, I'm so sorry for your loss my brother. When you explaining what happened it brought back memories as I went through a similar situation of criminals breaking into our apartment in Newlands next to the N1. Fence was cut, alarm wasn't triggered and broke in. By the Grace of God, they didn't shoot but I was hit with a shovel and literally begged for my life as I was being tortured and had to lock my family in another room. Once again my bro, I'm so sorry man.
