      There is nothing weird for the two to understand each other. People in Johannesburg had the opportunity of living with different races, Xhosa, Zulu, Mozambican, Malawian, Afrikaans and English languages, although Xhosa is somewhat difficult for them to speak. Ok'salayo they understand what you say or guesswork using isiZulu. I have a friend of mine who is Pedi speaking and I'm Xhosa speaking. We speak our languages to each other to the surprise of the listeners. There are, of course, certain words that are hard, each will change to English to clarify them. We never realized that people around us were impressed by the way we are speaking until they voiced it out. So, yiBabel.

    I had all the emotions you can ever think of 😭😭😭😭. Yho Nathi I feel seen 😭😭😭 kubuhlungu ukufunda ezilalini where you are taught everything in Xhosa . I started to understand English when I was in grade 8 and I became fluent in grade 10 even though I still lacked confidence … even now at my big age (26 years) I still lack confidence when it comes to express myself in English but ke the purpose is bigger than the language and therefore I need to push . I haven’t finish this interview and wow it’s a lot , thank you so much for your openness . And to Mr Mashabela you’re a hero , love you lots ❤️❤️✨

    I must say out of all the nguni languages, isiXhosa is the best (personal opinion). I'm saying this as a Mosotho who cant speak any nguni languages. I understand both isiZulu and isiXhosa a little but i really love listening to amaXhosa speaking.

    "Isandla" on Nathi's latest album keeps me going when I'm at my lowest, this guy was gifted this talent by God which could be the reason why he's had so many ups and downs in his past life cz God was drawing him closer to the talent he had given him. I remember when my mother passed away in 2015,his Nomvula album kept me going. I would be driving alone somewhere preparing my mom's funeral and have his album on repeat all day. This guy is a God sent❤

    Beautiful interview as always.
    English as a language is just that a language, a tool to communicate. Not a measure of anyone's intellect. As a Pedi man, I'm glad and happy Nathi proudly speaks his native language with no regard to what others are saying. He understands himself and his gift.
    Interview was flowing; David understood him well and always handles interviewees with care. This is the 1st time listening to Nathi this open. Big up King David.

    It's an interesting conversation King David. I watch your podcast more often. I enjoy every guest story, for example, prison love.
    You probing skills are of a very high quality and I piccked up that you are a reading young man.
    I'm retiring at UNISA and interested to to share my life and development as a village girl. My education struggles and how I empower myself supported fully by 2 men, my grandfather and later my spouse took over. I'm 65 years old. I'm not sure whether elderly women like myself could come tribute towards motivating the young, from humble beginnings, and what is unique men support who happen to be very unpopular as fathers and spouses.

      I can't watch the entire 3 hours. Can you please explain what the title means when it says " God doesn't answer black people's prayers"🙏

    • @kamvasinomgqomo2640
      @kamvasinomgqomo2640 9 месяцев назад

      ohh its from Nathi's perspective that he believes that GOD gave us our languages intentionally and with reasons, so for us to communicate or pray in English when we talk to him feels like we are less appreciative, and that could lead to our prayers not being heard. He argued that the prayers we say in our own languages are more powerful, he was referencing to us black South Africans who prays in English. He further believes that's why white peoples prayers are heard because they pray in the language God gave them. I guess the title is derived from this argument phrase.
