And i thought the British Goverment had banned people from taking holidays?? No wonder covid isn't going away? So is this 'the best' biking road or the best since the last freebie?? 😜
What an idiotic comment 🤦♂️ The trip was in December, when the Canaries were in the travel corridor, so travel WAS permitted. We took Covid tests before we went, we filled in the relevant track and trace info, we activated the track and trace app, and as it turned out, we also took Covid tests and quarantined on our return. What’s your problem? In fact, don’t bother replying, I’m not interested.
@@teapotone pretty sure you explained all that in the commentary which suggests your detractor here didn't even watch it and just wanted to have a pop from behind his keyboard. The "freebie" comment smacks of jealousy too. Sad. Keep doing what you're doing Bruce, inspiring the rest of us who can't travel or ride right now. Canaries are defo on my bucket list after watching your vids 👍
Thank you David, I really do appreciate your comments here bud. There’s so much of this keyboard warrior type stuff going on just now, and as you rightly say, most of the time it’s plainly evident the people haven’t even watched the vid judging by their comments. Some people just seem to get a kick out of cheap shots and expect to be able to say what they like with no consequence or reaction. 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Been waiting to see your video. Me and my son overlapped with your second weekend, met up for some drinks and a dinner. Our second visit, first visit in Dec 2019. They are just great roads, very grippy, even in the wet. Looking forward to see more filmage, love the drone following the team down the hairpins. Yeehaa indeed!!
I seriously wanted to turn this video off but couldn't... I need to get the bike out and carve up some twisty's through the dales and Scottish boarders... Get myself bike fit again for a Canary's' tour.. It's got to be done!
Aye this was first week in December last year - the Canaries was added to the travel corridor meaning you didn’t need to quarantine on return to the UK so we jumped on it. Sadly whilst there the Canaries were put back on the quarantine list so we needed up having to do the test and release scheme on our return - but no biggie
You mentioned whenever you go on a trip you tell the wife you want to move there! Well, funny enough, I said the same to my wife after a trip I did and we moved to the Pyrenees in France! 😃 Great vid Bruce and great footage with the drone, loved it!
Hi Bruce looks fantastic you are making me home sick everything is on your door step, just finished a 16 day tour of Tasmania me and the wife on two bikes was great holiday with only one day of rain but when they do roadworks in Tasmania they leave lose gravel on the road not nice like forced off road. No issue with the pandemic in Tasmania didn’t have to self isolate on our return to Melbourne.stay safe we are living our life. Malcolm and DIana.
Happy memories of my trip with CMT - Martin disappearing into the distance effortlessly on the tricky route down from the dam. I loosened up for a great thrash along the GC200 though. One of the finest roads I have ridden.
Great to see you back Bruce. Video is fantastic as usual but now you’re back on the bike I hope it’s doesn’t mean no more Bru Time, love listening to Bru Time in the 🚗

An area that should be on everyone’s bucket list for riding. Incredible diversity of roads, ecology, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the roads at a spirited pace. Road there with a group in late 2019 and it is incredible.

This place is definitely one to tick off the list, especially as it's a good winter destination ride. Think I'd ride on my own though and meet up in the evening, which I believe they cater for.
Looks amazing Bruce. Great drone footage, close call with the power line🤣 Nice to see Ian Judd, Mike and the rest of the boys having a laugh. This has made me hunger for travel. Great video a very smooth and polished look. Music worked really well 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍

Love that you did this on an Africa Twin! I had a 2019 version for a little while and I just love the sound they make even from the standard can. Beautiful footage 👍🏻😎
Thanks James, yeah I do love the sound of the Africa Twin and I really do like the manual version - perfect for those type of roads. I don’t think the DCT would handle as well personally on the tight stuff 🤷♂️
Great to see another trip vid TP1 👍🏻 After all the snow and cold weather we’ve had recently it felt like Spain this week (10c max) 🌞 Roll on summer 2021🤞🏻
