Compared to that video all I really did for this was cut out any and all clips of anyone one else other than demon husnado talking. All I can say is thanks to everyone who has watched and liked this video. You honest to god have no idea how much this actually means to me to get a video up to this many views. ❤

First off, everyone who had a hand in the French translation and voice acting in this has my respect. It couldn't have been easy to do this. Those people did a fantastic job on this! Even though this is wonderful, I still prefer the original English voice. While I do like the fact that the radio effect on his voice was toned down, it's not the same to me. Ed's voice for Alastor seems to fit him more. At least, to me it does. The fact that I don't speak French may also play a part in my preference for his original English voice.
I can definitely see where you're coming from! As some who knows both French and English, I honestly adore his French voice. He's a character with so many specific mannerisms and that kind of stuff can't really be directly translated, so they had to adapt it for French, and it honestly works just beautifully. Major props to whoever voiced him because it is just such a joy to hear those little affectations portrayed so well in translation, especially with a language as (sometimes) idiosyncratic as French. Same for most of the rest of the dub actually, pretty much every character has a lot of eccentricities which were amazingly adapted, so I guess it just really hyped me up. I agree that the English version is probably better overall, but it is just so exciting to see those kinds of details in translation.
I thought the singing part was really good. I'm pretty skeptical of dubs (I watch them and some are very well done) mostly for the fact that what is being said won't match the lip-syncing.

French person here, gotta say I’m impressed , translating from English to French can be really tricky as French has a vocabulary about thrice as complicated, but they used it to their advantage and picked an hyperbolic vocabulary in old French to reinforce the whole Radio Host feel and it works really well! I mean I’m always the first to cringe with French dubs but you can tell his part was rewritten carefully and the actor did a great job!

Je suis honnêtement impressionné par le dub en français. Les voix et les émotions sont parfaitement bien retranscrites, jusqu'au "I would have done so already" dont j'avais peur qu'il ne passe pas bien, mais c'est de grande qualité.

I mean I’m always the first to cringe with French dubs but you can tell his part was rewritten carefully and the actor did a great job!
