Have a look at our new suspension using the GTAm ECU software. We use the software with an exchange program for your suspension ECU and have made better springs than the GTAm only lowering 10mm from 2017 ride height. We can order the GTAm parts but for example the Genuine GTAm front bumper is $8,900. the GTAm suspension springs are $650, there is a premium for these parts specific to the GTAm. I'd say you could build a GTAm car, sort of, for around $30K using OEM parts (best quality). I have also looked into the lexan windows etc... Nice video. Ciao!
Hey Ed, Thanks for posting this breakdown on the Koshi options! The other point to make is that they didn't even bring any of the GTA's or GTAm's to the U.S. , so these mods are the only way you'll see them here for 25 years, sadly. I love that front bumper /grille and GTAm spoiler - they just make the car look meaner.
Giulia Quadrifoglio Is beautiful as you have 😍It can be 🔝 in my opinion and not so expensive if you upgrade with sabelt seats and a typical spoiler of gtam and the car looks really really cool 🔝🔝🔝💪💪💪
Another very interesting video Ed. (Subscribed) Like you say though its a lot of money if you want to do everything to get the full exterior GTA M look. Although I know this won't be to everyone's taste I love the koshi large rear boot spoiler and think this alone would set the look of a Quadrifoglio off even more. I wonder how difficult it would be to remove the standard one and diy fit the koshi without doing damage to the existing paintwork. Also if someone want's a touch more of that GTA look and they already need's new tyres anyway, they could get a set of the 20" Stelvio wheels and tyres that you mentioned.
Yes even the Koshi GTA spoiler is lovely as well. And the carbon gear knob trim. Probably the only two things I’d actually get myself. Thanks for subscribing. Ed
I was dreaming of this kit also only a few days ago…. So it was very interesting…. It’s a lot of money for a beauty kit. There are still a few things to do to bring to full spec, as a racer I am sure large spacers like that would not sit comfortably with you. All that unsprung weight in the wrong place I assume the deal does not have it.
Celtic tunings remapp totally transforms the car Not just Increased performance but all round drivabilty. A must if you have this car Had mine two years and the difference is night and day. So for £595.00. That's the only mod you need
A real Alfa Giulia GTAm is something any Alfisti would rightly drool over. If I saw, parked up somewhere, what I thought was GTAm and upon closer inspection it turned out to be a body-kitted QV, I would not be able to hide my disappointment; maybe even sadness. I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to admire the chap who'd just spent £30k on the conversion. Far better to keep the QV as the QV - it's a stupendous car exactly as it is and any admiring glances it gets are on its own merits.
Agree totally with you. I think my closing words were “that’s why my Quadrifoglio is staying standard. You’ll be able to pick up a genuine GTAm in a couple of years anyway sub £100k. Still a lot, but at least it’s the real deal. Ed
I quite agree and a great point, but despite this I would be very tempted to just fit the large koshi rear boot spoiler. Not to make people think its a GTA but just because I love it and think the large rear wing would look great on Ed's car, after all he is a pilot. The old Alfa 156 had a factory fitted sport pack 3 option with a large rear spoiler and it looked great. I had this sport pack 3 option car for 4 years with the V6 engine and loved it. The dealer later lent me a 156 GTA when that came out but to me it was a deal breaker as you could not option it with a factory fitted large rear spoiler and in my humble opinion that standard 156 GTA didn't look as good as mine at the time. The standard and lovely modern day QV doesn't have that problem but I do really like that koshi rear spoiler.
it's insane that nobody has developed a GTA style front bumper that fits the QV stock fenders. This is where it sucks owning an Alfa instead of a BMW or Audi, the aftermarket is so hopelessly far behind.
@@Back_Road_Hero thanks I’m looking into it as having an issue with one of the actuators on my 2020 car and parts are on back order from Italy..12+ weeks. Need to keep it from deploying, or risk further damage.

@@myou6675 issues with the actuators are common - they need to be replaced. On my car the splitter would lower but not retract until after the car was restarted. Eventually Alfa agreed to the replacement actuators on warranty.

I'm gonna make it my life goal to buy a Giulia and then convert it into a gtam considering the Giulia is one of two of my dream cars

It’s expensive but such an awesome kit. Ed
Interesting stuff, I like the Giulia as it is, good exercise into what is possible though.
Thanks Brian. 🙏

I think it’s probably purely driven by the business case and production numbers involved. Ed
great video🔝 very detailed👌 but when you finally decide to get a BMW M3 you broke our heart😅
I was convinced you would tune your Giulia😅
Tuning the Giulia would be my first choice. 😜
Its work for a veloce ?
I’m sure it would be great. 👍

Unrelated question but do you know at what speed the active aero front splitter deploys and is this in all driving modes or just d and race?
All I know is that it’s ‘active’ above 100km/h. I believe it’s just in use when needed. I’ll see if I can find out some more. Ed

Is there anyone on RUclips running big power in these, eg hybrid turbos and the likes
Standard stage 1 map is 610bhp. You have to ask yourself if that’s enough through 2 driven wheels.
And of course power most certainly isn't everything, I can run a 1.40 around Cadwell in my E36 300bhp(at best) race car, best I managed in the Quad recently (in less than ideal conditions to be fair) was 1:46......perfect conditions I still don't think the Quad would beat my BMW, my BMW cost me less than 10k to build :D
My e46 racer cost my fractionally more but it’s still more fun on the track than the quad. Check out my racing channel at e46racer. Ed
has anyone done the GTA wing on the quad?
