Does the remote bypass the outside temp or does it only work in 5 degrees and down?

Iv noticed, in my 2019 stelvio, the shift noise is thunderous in natural mode. The exhaust opens up around 4,500rpm and shift soon after at 50% throttle .. An advantage of the 2020+ models is I've heard they can get the gtam engine tune via the obd port. Gearbox tune is also out there for all years

Had one of these for a couple years. Saved me twice and a few poor souls stranded in the supermarket carpark.

I'd struggle to part with it too. Over three years, that's pretty reasonable running costs and that service pack is a bargain.

Loved the video. Given me another road trip to plan for in the future. I’ve done a couple of trips around Europe. Cars are amazing, you can just get in fill them up and travel to so many different places and cultures. Need to start planning the next one. Keep doing your videos.

Thanks for that advice I got a Noco but never keep it on charge so the back seat usb is a good idea 👍🏻 Luckily my car isn’t even a year old yet so no battery problems so far 🤞🏻 My biggest problem at the moment using my Quad as a daily is those damn stock P Zeros. They are a total nightmare as soon as the damp & ice falls especially under 5 degrees you’re all over the play with no traction 😡 I know the solution is to fit Winter tyres however I have nowhere to store my P Zero’s 😡 I would willingly buy some however every tyre supplier near me I have contacted doesn’t want to know unfortunately so looks like I’ll just have tough it out. Yes you’re right all I’ve had off the Missus is grief… why did you spend all this money on such a useless car ? She will never understand it’s like having a mistress I suppose,although I’ve never had one of those albeit a mistress would probably be cheaper 😂 not to mention the ppf & pandora alarm I’ve fitted since buying .

A super video, plenty to experience out there. I did a trip to the Hoover dam in a Mustang convertible with work colleagues, interesting to see the water line shown on the rocks in your video, the water level has dropped massively over the years with the consumption increase as Vegas expanded. I also did a great helicopter trip from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Yes it cost a few dollars but when the pilot laid out the picnic and a glass of bubbly on the base of the canyon and then flew us down the Las Vegas strip just as the sun dropped in the evening….priceless! You have a life well lived, best wishes for many more adventures ahead 👍

Really enjoyed that, more so as my 18 year old daughter did a similar road trip of several thousand miles kicking off from Denver last summer and went to some of the places you covered here, but she didn't record much footage. I appreciate the quality and atmosphere of your film; it's given me a visual flavour of what she described to me. She tells me some of the places they stayed at en route are now reduced to ash, it's surreal.

Not had any issues with my battery yet, I think it’s original. I don’t notice any issues with the stop/start either. To be fair I turn it off first thing anyway as it’s pretty useless and doesn’t seem to work very efficiently which is no bother to me. I heard a rumour they don’t even put glass Matt batteries in the cars from the factory so not sue that’s going to help with stop/start and longevity!

The only benefit I can find of having a previously dying battery was the disabling of start stop!

Already have the CTEK charger & have just placed an order for the NOCO. Many thanks for the tip. I suspect that heated steering wheel gets a lot of use.

I agree 100% with recommending Ctek batteries. You can buy additional battery links for them that you attach permanently to the battery so they are easy to plug in. I also use them on all my motorbikes and even the ride on lawn mover 👍

Good advice, my Giulia has all the symptoms of a failing battery, non functioning stop/start, HRW no longer works. I do have a ctec charger but will need a new battery for sure.

Even on my daily I just keep a portable battery jump starter in the boot at all times just in case of an emergency. You don’t even need to keep it on a USB you can just charge it up once a year and it’ll be fine. The fact that they also act as a regular power bank for phones etc is handy I also keep a trickle charger at home, both of mine are from Noco I’ve found them brilliant

Does the Guilia not have one of those emergency red pull ribbons in the boot like other Alfas

I owned a 2009 5litre XKR convertible I bought used in 2011 and had it for eight years and toured all over Europe in it , only thing ever went wrong was a leaking water pump which was picked up in a service , loved the car , now own F type 5 litre R AWD love it but miss the space of rear seats
