      Yes, but he is still giving her an opportunity to spread her bull shot lies and make money.
      You may view it as professionalism but it’s actually enabling.
      None of these anti democracy, insurrectionists should be given the time of day.
      It just gives them an air of legitimacy.
      That’s partly how we got in this situation. Not everyone’s information is equal, we need to stop treating it like it is.

    Well done Trevor, calling out that she might behave the way she usually does before the interview starts was a great idea, and then following it up by holding her accountable to the question and not letting her wiggle out of it. Excellent

      Somehow she was allowed to evade the guns. Aside from "well 5 states have red flag laws." And quite frankly, the "mental health" concern is a cover for not addressing the easy access to weapons of war.

    The juxtaposition between those two is crazy, everything about her is grating and defensive, and by the time she finished a sentence, I forgot the question. But Trevor was calm, patient, and on point. I admire how he conducted himself when dealing with someone like her because I couldn't do it without losing my temper.

      It's not hard to stay cool if you see her as a pathetic individual who lies for personal gains. I borderline feel sorry for her. I have to hand it to Trevor though, he was able to keep a straight face. I'd have trouble not laughing or smirking.

    I have never seen someone handle Conway like this before. This was a remarkable, disarming interview. Ive always loved Trevor, but my respect for him has never been higher.

      @@ICU1337 He wasn't trying to challenge her but definitely made sure the topic stay focused on the question without going off the rails. She did try that the first few questions but then got along with the program and the interview got better. Yes, she did spin on a few things and push a couple narratives but it was within the question that Trevor posed. It was well done by Trevor.

    She went on a 5 minute rant about mental health which actually made sense, but Trevor pointed out she STILL avoided the ultimate point about keeping GUNS out of those people's hands BEFORE the massacre.

      True--You can flag all of those people that you want. But, I don't think TX has a red flag law. And Oklahoma actually has a law that prevents any part of that state from enacting a red flag law. So, who cares if you can see something going on in those people's social media accounts? They will still legally be able to buy a gun.

      It's called "bridging and framing" to take a nugget from the proposed premise/question and frame it in the point/position you prepared. It's especially effective if you do it in steps.
      "Why do you hate cats?"
      "The best thing about cats is they are so self sufficient, unlike dogs that need way more more maintenance. Dogs, on the other hand, are mans best friend. My favorite dog was one I had when I was growing up and she helped me through a really difficult time when my dad died. Dogs are the best."

    Such an important thing to do. To invite someone with differing views and have a respectful convo with each-other to show that common ground can be found, and within that respect can also be found. I love both of their manners when speaking to one another, and Trevor is one of the best interviewers I have seen!!

    I wish she would have answered Trevor's questions and engaged in a real discussion with him. It's obvious that she came to the table from a defensive position, prepared to deflect and push her own agenda. All that does is turn people off instead of inviting them to open their eyes to a different point of view. This interview is a perfect example of why we need to teach kids the art of intelligent discussion, not debate, in schools. Without it, all we have is a nation of people talking past each other instead of listening to other perspectives, attempting to achieve a level of understanding, and working together to make improvements that benefit humanity as a whole. As long as we take sides and fight only for our side to win, nothing will get accomplished and we will remain polarized as a society. Kudos to Trevor for trying.

    I wish this interview was longer. It seemed she's so came in ready to be defensive, but as it went on she started to give real answers. I wish we could have seen more of a calm, constructive interview because I was actually curious what she had to say. Getting immediately hostile blocks out your message. Trevor is an amazing interviewer and I respect him so much for being able to reign her back in and steer the conversation in a constructive direction.

    Trevor is an amazing professional and a fantastic interviewer. She's such a skilled/talented debator and deflector. The second half of the interview as she was less confrontational, one can sense she was more comfortable.     I love how Trevor stayed on topic respectfully & was firm. Conway learned to actually participate in a real conversation. She’s so conditioned to deflect, the way he kept her on topic was nothing short of amazing, without being confrontational. He read the book and did his research. I need to see him do more political interviews. Light hearted while still asking the tough questions.

      Just to be clear, Conway asserted that people form judgment or conclusions (nor are willing to hear from people who disagree) without actually knowing her and Noah countered with "that is not true"... He then proceeded to state that he read her book and that many of her views were not public (illuminating stories she never told or that people never knew). He literally just disagreed with her and then stated the very thing she asserted.
      ...
      It always makes me wonder, are disagreements between people a matter of language / understanding or really one of moral and ethical difference? I think most of us (68% or one standard deviation) agree on almost all issues (health, welfare, and safety); but, both parties have been taken over by extremes on each end (about 2% or outside of the send deviation).

    Trevor, you are an amazing host, interviewer and human being. I struggle the first 60 seconds, trying to keep from checking out. But, your skillful way and demeanor held me in place to hear one of the most decisive people ever (in my mind) and she sounded smart and worth listening to for once.

    Trevor may be a comedian but he’s also an intellect and gentleman when interviewing. He allowed Conway to dish out her “spin” instead of aggressively verbally attacking her. Most of us adults have “BS” radar.

    I was hesitant to even watch this because I think Kellyanne was an incredibly effective gaslighter and enabler of an unstable president. She helped do a lot of damage to this country. And she talks so fast, she is always able to get in her alternative facts in as the last word, But, well done, Trevor Noah. You didn’t let her Kellyanne you and got a few human answers from her.
