@@JumpRopeDudes Ayyyyeeeeeeee!! East NY in the houuuse! This was the first JRD workout I've ever done from front to back and my ass is well kicked. I really enjoyed this workout!
This workout is so good, it helped me to lose weight on the past, now I dont have space to jump rope where I live, so I do it without rope, still works!
It gets easier literally the next day . Once you get the hang of it you can’t let it go ! Keep your back straight arms on your side and feet straight to ! My boyfriend and I jump together , he sent me a video … it was so funny his form was horrible ! His feet were literally behind him and out wards like … I can’t even explain it , but while he jumped he looked crazy and wild ! I sent this video so fast 😂😂😂😂
I’ve had that happen before coming back to exercising you just threw up all the toxins in your body that were holding you back to better health....Keep pushing!!
Day 4 of doing this video: I feel like I killed it today! My intensity was better today than the other days! I only have 1 jump rope so when you switch from the 1 lb to 1/2lb i just keep on jumping with my 1lb rope 🔥
I've been doing this for a couple weeks and am seeing results already. I had my first son at 16, before having him I was 98lbs. After him I was 128lbs. I am 23 now and I had my second child, a little girl a year ago and can't seem to lose ANY weight no matter how healthy I eat or how much I work out or don't eat. I am 4'10 and now weigh 160lbs.. I am willing to try ANYTHING at this point! I don't wanna get to the point of feeling so insecure that I end up considering potentially going under the knife if I don't have to! Thank you for uploading this, as it's been the only thing keeping me on track to workout, feel better about myself and see results easily!!!
I have! It was rather slow progress but I have lost 17lbs thankfully. I'm hoping to lose more but we will see how it goes. I've incorporated fasting and we'll maintained diet including cutting out sugar entirely (aside from my one coffee with cream and sugar daily). I would say try it and see how it goes! Keep in mind everyone's body is different and works in different ways. I hope that you get to your goal💜💜
Thank you! I didn't do any weight lifting, I did everything else in the video consistently and daily. I wouldn't even know where to begin with lifting weights. Lol.

Love jump rope calisthenic work outs. Started doing my own intense routines, burnt 3,500 calories in 5 days. A million thanks to the Dudes for getting me into jump rope. Changed my life forever 💪🏼
Jump Rope Dudes Hi guys I’m also looking to pick up the ‘Get Lean’ set and then purchase the heavier ropes separately. Do any of you know if the 1lb 2lb rope will fit on the ‘GL’ Handles? That way I can purchase just one handle instead of two? Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Open question for anyone to answer 🙂👍🏽)
First day doing it and it’s AMAZING!!! I’m so sweaty and happy!! I can’t believe we worked so hard with just jumping rope! Thank you so much for this workout!!!!
31:40 Talking smooth like he wasn't jumping for 30 minutes straight. I was on the floor looking for air. Great workout! Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
I started jump rope workouts like this 5 days a week, two months ago. Down over 10 lbs, getting stronger and my cardio is now on another planet. Changed my life 💪🏼
Crossed 100,000 yesterday , began 8/31/1999. Using 1/4 lb crossrope since February. Great rope. Coldest jumping was 10 above. 5x200 minimum 3x a week Age 65. Jumping til the end. Onto 200,000. Do jumps and sprints after basement workout. Can't stop. 3,900 jumping jacks in April.
I love this workout! However, I just know how to "regular bounce". I have a hard time doing "boxer shuffles". Would really appreciate it if you could post a tutorial.
I know the struggle. Took me a month to learn boxer skip but once you learn it, you feel like a proper badass. Just wait til you learn crossovers and double unders.
I tried this workout for now last 3 weeks, i do it 3-4 times a week, and i just love this workout , but since i m new to jump rope i dont do any variations , just regular bounce , but man oh man, i do get 400+ Active calories burn on my appple watch . Which is sweet . Do the thing. Greetings from India
It's been a month and i've been doing this workout 5 times a week. I don't have a heavy jump rope and i don't know if it makes that big of a difference. I lost some pounds but most importantly i've seen a huge change in my cardio endurance. I can easily do this workout 2 times in a row. It feels fucking amazing!
This is awesome - I started jumping rope earlier this year after I injured my shoulder and knee so had to stop weights and running. Generally I do 30-45 mins of 5 min rounds plus 30-45 secs rest in between rounds. Adding in high knees, toe taps, various pace, boxer's step etc. but quite randomly. 3-4,000 skips every 2nd day or so. Started off with 2 x 5 min rounds with 1 min in between and many many stops for tripping and sore calves. Now I'm probably fitter than I've ever been (which, to be honest, isn't saying much) So far have lost 13kgs while also actually gaining a couple of kgs of muscle (I imagine calves and shoulders). This was the first time I followed one of yours and I loved it. Couldn't do the kick back and forward one though without tripping so more practice needed, but great workout overall. Want to try some of the harder ones now!
@@JumpRopeDudes Cheers! Just had a one pound and a half pound (roughly anyways) rope delivered. Seems most of your other workouts utilise a 1/4 lb rope + 1/2 pounds or the 1 lb + 2 lb. Can I substitute these with the ropes I got?
Thanks dudes for sharing this amazing workout... and yes at the end you able to reach more than 500 calories! around 560 at least.... and counting! BEAST!!!
This is best cardio workout on you tube. If you are experienced it will make you sweat, and if you are someone who hasn't train before you will see that this is not impossible and you will be able to finish workout in month or two without pausing video.
I recommend the 1 & 2lb jump rope set. It will destroy you but overtime the conditioning you get from it is insane. I train boxing and its made me so much lighter on my feet and has improved my endurance massively. I feel like jumping rope consistently gives you an edge.
I am going to do this exercise for 30 days and here is my result DAY1:it was pretty hard I survived for 20min and took a break of 5min and finished the workout
Just finished it this morning, little by little I've been improving and today was the first day I was able to follow along completely! Thank you for the energy you put out into the world, it is contagious!! Keep up the great work!
ANYONE WHO HASN’T GOTTEN THE CROSSROPE, GET IT! IT’S A LIFE CHANGER JUST USED MINE FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AND IT WAS A WHOLE DIFFERENT BALL GAME!! YOU GOT THIS!! DO THE THING!!
Great vid! I’m getting into jump rope, although I’m not coordinated to do all the fancy footwork yet I’m deff motivated. I gotta work on those toe steps (it feels awkward with the rope 😋)
Yep. It took me about a month until I was coordinated enough to jump for more than 15-20 seconds at a time. You're gonna feel really goofy and you'll probably slam your rope on the ground in frustration like I have many times before you start getting decent. Also, a heavier rope will help with coordination but you'll get tired faster. Something to consider. Good luck on your jumping journey!
A friend of mine recommended me this channel. I did this video as my first workout and did it twice in order to burn 500 calories. I realized I sucked at jump roping but I'm super excited to keep working out with you guys and hope one day I can get that good at jump roping.
This was great: I used the same jump ropes as in the video. It gave good upper body burn, and because we alternated with body weight exercises every third move, my legs were able to last the whole workout: yay! Thank u!
I have an Apple Watch ⌚️, and with this workout the active calories were 279 and total calories were 331 calories, thank you jump rope dudes for keeping us fit 💕
i upgraded from 10 min begineer to 30 min beginner as nd now m upgraded to this.i didnt felt tired till i reached last 5 min of this workout, but nonetheless i did the thing, did this whole set....Feeling tooo awesome....🤙🤙❣️
I'll be leaving my progress in here everyday, my challenge is to able to complete the 30mins without any side effects (throw up, dizzines, etc) PS: Sorry for my english I'm not a native speaker. Day 1: 9:30 - Throw up Day 2: 14:25 - I messed up and throw up again, but at least I reached more minutes, tomorrow I'll try to get in between 10-12 minutes without side effects Day 3: 32:26 I was able to complete the whole routine! I took rest longer than what the instructor said so I was able to keep it up, also taking big big air breaths where really helpful, I didn't have any side effects other than little little dizzines but that's it! I'm really happy, let's see tomorrow. Day 4: 32:26 Again I was able to complete the full routine, I must say that the first 20 minutes where so much easier than days before but the last part where much harder, maybe because between day 4 and today I didn't train the weekend to recover. But my final recover after finishing the routine was much faster and much less dizziness. I also went to the nutriologist and got myself a new diet fat free and the objective is to reduce fat the first two weeks then It will change to a muscle grow diet. Day 5: 32:26 Today was a weird day, I don't know why but it was a lot harder to complete than previous days, maybe I was exhausted or something but I got tired waaay faster, I'm taking a break tomorrow and continue on Thursday to let my body recover. Also I started to do all the pushup with my knees to be able to do 15 reps each time and not burn out in the first set. Day 6: 32:26 Again I was able to complete the whole excercise by doing knee push up. Push up are my main struggle so I´ll work on that in the future, this is going to be one of my "last day" doing this workout because next monday (Today is friday) I´m starting a calisthenics workout program (Thenx Pro suscription). And in two weeks I'll be rejoining my boxing training after 1 year of not training. Day 7: 32:26 So today is one of my last before starting calisthenics, Now 'im able to finish this workokut and recover sooo much faster so I'm really glad of the one week progress. I must say that this workout is amazing to get in shape and gain endurance, if you are coming back to fitness after some time like me or is the first time doing excersise, it´s amazing to start this journey! I would recommend doing this the first week o two so you gain endurance and then start your main training so you first have endurance before jumping into training, then do this workout whenever you want to do cardio! Thanks a lot JRD.
Hey this was my second jump rope workout and it was kind of hard to keep up with you. I am very happy though, as I tried my best and managed to record 400kcal on my Garmin watch. I have to say that yesterday was my first day doing one of your workouts so I was a little bit sore today. Thank you for posting these workout videos, they help a lot.
My usual post workout food is a protein smoothie, made with whole foods. No powder: 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese 1 frozen banana 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 3 tbsp hemp hearts 2 tbsp flax seeds 1 cup milk. About 600 calories and an even balance of carbs, protein and fat 💪🏼
Going from speed rope to 1/4 lb crossrope feels like a chain but one get's use to it. Going to half pound is alot but I'll keep trying. Total so far since labor day 2019 is 134,000. Temp range from 10deg above to 93 deg in Minnesota. Bumped it up to 10x200 3 times a week from 5x200. Age 65. If I can jump, anyone can. Passing a million in about 5 years. Fastest to 100 skips with speed rope was 31 seconds. Arms couldn't go any faster. Most in a row was 421. Could do more than 2,000 but I include 20 sprints and lifting and 3x100 jumping jacks.
Loved the workout 👍 Jumping rope has changed my life for good.. especially after following u guys #dothething P.S - the workout schedule shown in the beginning is different than the one performed in the video

This one was awesome! I was deciding to go for a run or to do the JR and I am happy I've chosen this workout :) It was fun. Thank you!
I was this 👌 close to give up at 2 min mark, but I pushed through with some shitty self promise.
This workout kicked my butt in 10 different ways even tho I’ve done it multiple times before. Man is it hard. Wooo🔥
couldnt finish t he work out....i was able to reach 24 mins....hope to finish on my next round on wednesday.....
Day 2.....27 mins.... hoping to do better in day 3
Oh yes going to try this workout next, thank you for letting us do the thing :)
Braaaaaandoooon. What did you to me. I‘m 45 and I need a doctor now :) no!!! I’m fine and that’s a very good workout. Thank you!!!
What a great workout I just had 👌🏼 a m getting better at this !
Gr8 workout JRD ! In my fitness tracker it showed 447 calories.... Anyways being fit is the main thing. #Dothething
Do you have the specific playlist of the songs you played during this workout?
The spotify list is huge!
Should i do this everyday or alternate days? And how much calories will i burn while using a normal rope?
We shoot for 5x per week! Calorie burn varies so much from one person to the next. Bring the intensity, the calorie burn will follow!
Great vid! I’m getting into jump rope, although I’m not coordinated to do all the fancy footwork yet I’m deff motivated. I gotta work on those toe steps (it feels awkward with the rope 😋)
You got this! Just keep practicing!
Thank u!
Day 1 of doing this! Can’t wait to get back in shape and this will be my warm up!!!
Day 2!
Day 3
Day 4!
I have an Apple Watch ⌚️, and with this workout the active calories were 279 and total calories were 331 calories, thank you jump rope dudes for keeping us fit 💕
What's the difference between active n total calories

Jump rope is gud for woman? Any side effects?
Might have to try this thanks for posting!
@cesare Hell yeah! He’s inspired me to do my first 100 burpee session. No idea how long it’ll take, but Rep City is always open haha.
i upgraded from 10 min begineer to 30 min beginner as nd now m upgraded to this.i didnt felt tired till i reached last 5 min of this workout, but nonetheless i did the thing, did this whole set....Feeling tooo awesome....🤙🤙❣️
Great job! Way to do the thing!
I'll be leaving my progress in here everyday, my challenge is to able to complete the 30mins without any side effects (throw up, dizzines, etc)
PS: Sorry for my english I'm not a native speaker.
Day 1: 9:30 - Throw up
Day 2: 14:25 - I messed up and throw up again, but at least I reached more minutes, tomorrow I'll try to get in between 10-12 minutes without side effects
Day 3: 32:26 I was able to complete the whole routine!
You shouldn't be throwing up. Always listen to you body and scale back as needed.
@@JumpRopeDudes Yes! The problem was that when I stopped I wasn't feeling bad until like 5 minutes later but at least now I know my current limit
Great routine💪🏼💪🏾💪🏿🥰 but only managed to burn 385 calories but I don’t have the weighted jump ropes YET! Going to order them today
This was a great workout ! How many times in the week do you recommend doing this ?
We shoot for 5x per week!
Day 1 : High Josh 🔥🔥🔥 ✅
Day 2 : Completed ( But feel pain in shin 😅) Still High Jodh 🔥🔥🔥✅
Love From India (Himanchal Pradesh) ❤️
Hey this was my second jump rope workout and it was kind of hard to keep up with you. I am very happy though, as I tried my best and managed to record 400kcal on my Garmin watch. I have to say that yesterday was my first day doing one of your workouts so I was a little bit sore today. Thank you for posting these workout videos, they help a lot.
That's great! Remember, we've been doing this for years! it starts with one day! Do you and build over time! You got this!!!
I'm from Bangladesh... and I love jamping rope....
Nice!
Love some spelling too. Wouldn't hurt.
this training was confusing.. please, it's way better if you use a buzzer !
What food we need to have after this half an hour workout
My usual post workout food is a protein smoothie, made with whole foods. No powder:
1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
3 tbsp hemp hearts
2 tbsp flax seeds
1 cup milk.
About 600 calories and an even balance of carbs, protein and fat 💪🏼
Thanks
Loved the workout 👍
Jumping rope has changed my life for good.. especially after following u guys

P.S - the workout schedule shown in the beginning is different than the one performed in the video
