Also you forget that that typically can’t do shit calisthenics people can do due to the coordination and muscle control

      @@CalistFitness I see where you're coming from, but it's not exactly true. A barbell curl can't be a calisthenics move because the bodyweight version of that would simply be elbow flexion; you're not moving your bodyweight through space in the same way you would with any other calisthenics exercise. It's the same with rope extensions; with no weight, it's just elbow extension. A squat with no weight is still a bodyweight squat, so it qualifies.

      @@amortality999 That's only pro bodybuilders of the past three decades though but you have a point. Understand bodybuilders don't train for strength they train for mass, they are very damn strong but the nerves are trained to activate muscle groups differently. Also calisthenics doesn't train strength but predominantly endurance. Your muscles are very strong even if you are lazy bum but your nerves aren't up to par to use all that power. Calisthenics trains your nervous systems to work in groups to move only your body through space in three dimensions so your muscles don't need to be particularly strong or dense but your nerves have to very well developed.

    Calisthenics are just perfect, they don't build as much muscle mass as weights and still give you more strength (assuming it's weighted calisthenics).

    This is an amazing transformation from intermediate to almost elite. Most people cap out when they reach intermediate(including myself atm), but, this a great demonstration of reaching that next level after the intermediate stage. Congrats.

    • @MichaSchulz

      not much core training, around 6 sets a week. I don't follow a diet, I just try to eat healthy and fresh with a high amount of protein! Wish you all the best on your journey!

    This transformation is insane. Kinda underated considering the amount of views. Btw do weighted pull ups help you achieve one arm pull up?

    • @omar637
      @omar637 5 лет назад +6

      Yeah, they build up your strength, they also make weightless pullups easier to do, therefore your rep range increases.

    • @sfidatestesso
      @sfidatestesso 4 года назад

      Still need to work on the specific movement a lot. Commando pull ups are better than pull ups for that

    • @predator.1035
