I'm in my second year of pharmacy school, and this series has been a tremendous help. Your explanation/teaching was much more clear than my professor's. I appreciate your enthusiasm too! Thank you!!
A video on V receptors and vasopressin would be incredibly helpful. Thank you for the videos! I am a new nurse working in a Cardiothoracic ICU and your topics covering adrenergic receptors and medications have been a great help.
my grand mother was confined in the icu and before she died doctors inject her with epinephrine in order to wake her pulse according to them..is it true epinephrine can increase pulse rate?
+Mercy Obiozor - Thanks for the comment. I reviewed the video and I agree.. It is poorly worded. I meant the junction/synapse with the target organ, but this is confusing since that nerve is a post-synaptic nerve! I'll fix it! You're awesome!
I was hit with an epi pen after passing out from a bee sting allergic reaction. I have been having tachycardia effects over a month after the event. Usually during exercise (hives) and noticably I went swimming in a river twice and both times went into an adrenaline response (shaking muscles for about 35 minutes) and redness of skin and also hives, swelling of fingers Is this common to last that long? I have not been to a doctor 15 years prior, take no drugs or prescriptions, and have never had any allergies other than penicillin
holy crap. this is the first time i have fully understood epinephrine effects. you deserve all ten of my subscriptions.
hahaha i agree
