Acoustic Blues Guitar Lesson - 1 Bar Licks And Phrases With Chords For Beginners Or Intermediates

  • This is a more specific lesson based off one I did a while back called, "How To Jam Alone As A Beginner."
In the previous video, I showed some overviews of ways to mix and match chords and scales to create some rhythm, melody, and harmony.
In this video, we'll take some 1 bar licks and phrases, and combine them with chords from a 12 bar blues in E to create your own blues tune that you can modify as you wish.
Once you have the 3 licks and the turnaround down, you'll see you can play as many times through as you want. And every time you learn a new lick, you can simply add it to the mix.
TAB and Downloads available for this lesson here:
    bluesguitarunleashed.com/1-on...
If you dig these, you might want check out my "How To Jam The Blues Alone" Course available at:

Griff. It was a proper grim day in Southern England today then your email arrived with this lesson and out came the sun. The semi acoustic got fired up on the mustang and there where big smiles. Thank you for brightening up my day. Better still. The neighbours have just gone out, the ankle snappers are still at school so it must be up volume time. Happy dayz.

your riffs are excellent.. BUT... can you slow them down... have managed, via repeated loop backs on YT to get it.. but if you could just slow them down, and repeat so dumpkoffs like me can learn it slower... absolutely brilliant though.... lovin the sound... nice job...
