Acoustic Blues Guitar Lesson - 1 Bar Licks And Phrases With Chords For Beginners Or Intermediates
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 29 апр 2019
- This is a more specific lesson based off one I did a while back called, "How To Jam Alone As A Beginner."
In the previous video, I showed some overviews of ways to mix and match chords and scales to create some rhythm, melody, and harmony.
In this video, we'll take some 1 bar licks and phrases, and combine them with chords from a 12 bar blues in E to create your own blues tune that you can modify as you wish.
Once you have the 3 licks and the turnaround down, you'll see you can play as many times through as you want. And every time you learn a new lick, you can simply add it to the mix.

Griff. It was a proper grim day in Southern England today then your email arrived with this lesson and out came the sun. The semi acoustic got fired up on the mustang and there where big smiles. Thank you for brightening up my day. Better still. The neighbours have just gone out, the ankle snappers are still at school so it must be up volume time. Happy dayz.
Excellent lesson, thanks so much for including the tablature other online lessons are useless without them

Have been looking everywhere for exactly this type of lesson. Love it thank you so much.
I first watched this over a year ago when I was starting out, but with a bit more experience i have come back to it and have actually found it more helpful second time around. I couldn’t find the link for the two bar licks - can you post it please?
Brilliant good man want som more I will pay for lesson hugh
Great lesson Griff. If I'm not mistaking lick number one is used by Howlin Wolf in Smokestack Lightning.or a variation of it.
Great series. Great lesson. What BPM would you play this at
MUITO TOP!!
Griff,
I have 3 of your courses , and I would love to get a course with 12 bar blues with single notes mixed in like you are showing us now .
Keep me in mind !🎸😎
Thanks..excellent. Hey can you also post up some Jimi-Stevie Ray- Rory Gallagher level ones? Thanks!!
🚩Hi First time with you. I Enjoyed it! Taught it very well 👍 praying there are Tabs to ALL THIS. Too busy watching. Also like what your version of Blues is
Can't wait to Learn+Practice! Tks
That Taylor really sings! New strings?
Im gonna sub and see where this goes bro, im interested in the so called dead thumb style, hoping you touch on that
Is that a cedar guitar? It sounds awesome.
Hey Griff, what model Taylor are you playing. Big fan of Taylor guitars, 810 & 814ce.
Good lesson Griff. Just wonder why you don’t call out the strings with their note names as opposed to the number of the string.?
To 90% of people, this is the Blues. How about a DVD on this, Griff?
There is one already, you can check it out bluesguitarunleashed.com/get-htjba/
Thanks. How can anyone thumbs down this haha
Nice lesson.....hard to read the tablature on the screen however, very small for my old eyes!
I learned this stuff from Lightin’ Hopkins
Hello..you said, acoustic guitar lesson,,. Is there a deference if we use them to electric guitar??? Please iam a beginner
your riffs are excellent.. BUT... can you slow them down... have managed, via repeated loop backs on YT to get it.. but if you could just slow them down, and repeat so dumpkoffs like me can learn it slower... absolutely brilliant though.... lovin the sound... nice job...
