      Ender Kara this art work is called playing guitar. Actualy, its just small riffs. No song structur to learn doing this. Let's say.. to play the intro of a song or the wole song are not same things. For exmp. Sweet child o mine intro. Or all the song. Need more skills. I dont say its not good.. its great. But if you talk "peace of art" i think its basic guitar playing

    I remember being fucked up after a surgical operation and some more shit about 5 years ago and finding this video by chance. It motivated me to order a guitar and start playing while recovering at home for months. I don't think my life would be the same without this hobby. Thanks for your awesome work

    As a mediocre at best guitar player, watching people play 100 songs in a row memorized, with no mistakes, to me is like trying to run a marathon blindfolded because you had to memorize the route. Keep rockin dude

      @@deg1studios it is when i was learning how to play base, i couldnt read any notes i just played each note follwing teachers movement and learned like 3 songs
      And could play all of them
      An idiat learnt how to play base guitar for like a month and muscle remembers it imagine people like this dude prob played like 10 years of course muscle memory kicks in
      I quit base cause i moved to foreign land

      There is no reason to think he did this in one take, (or "on a row"). Plenty of jump cuts and camera angle changes to allow for corrections and song changes. This is a great video, there is just no reason to think it was an "all in a row" in one take situation.

      the majority of popular riffs are not that difficult, only "long speedy solos's and fast switching chords (but it gets easier over time). but if you're getting an electric guitar once you feel that power running through the amp... you're hooked 🤘🎸

    Love how so many people hate on this cause he played a song differently. Oh he improvises to play according to his style, and everyone suddenly becomes a music critic. I think he played amazingly regardless of changes to the song or notes.

    Something I think is underappreciated is just how smooth the transitions are between no-mild-heavy distortion on the different riffs. This is amazing mate.

      I also think there's a fair bit of playback. For example his pinky around 4:03 keeps touching the A string without affecting the sound.

      @@MAGAMAN he uses several camera angles but there are no jump cuts. I seriously don't think you know what a jump cut is. I'm saying this as a filmmaker with 50 films under my belt and you're just throwing an idiot comment out there wow. You might want to take the time look up the guitar player magazine story about this project. He had to stop and start two or three times because of the camera capabilities but other than that it's one continuous take.

      The crazy thing about being a guitar player is you have this sub conscious library of riffs. I was at at a party and someone had just bought an electric guitar and was noodling around. Someone mentioned the scorpions and asked if I knew anything from them. I said give me a second. After jarring my memory went into the first section of Big City Nights. The human brain is amazing!

      Without the numbering, which suggests ranking, I think he put together a subjective yet solid list of 100 riffs. Or rather 95 riffs. To be fair, getting rid of songs with no guitar riff whatsoever - Billie Jean, Jump, Whiter Shade of Pale, Take on Me, & Final Countdowm would clear up space for, say, Can't Explain, You Really Got Me, London Calling, Age of Consent, Run DMC's Rock Box, and probably a few of your own WTF how-is-this-not-on-here choices.

      Not to throw stones, but there are many 'jump cuts' in the video, given a jump cut is a cut in the middle of an action. Can't take advantage of the many cameras without them.

      He's counting the content of the video, not commenting on the quality of music produced. This vid had Valens' "La Bomba" and Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" from the 50's, and that was all.

    What I like about this one is that he actually gives a lot of time for each riff, allowing you to better appreciate them. In a lot of similar videos it's just 3-5 seconds of the riff, and sometimes you don't even recognize them.

      Same here. That riff has to be the all-time favorite since many generations after it was produced has passed, and the new generation and new guitar player since shall regardless prefer that riff to be the first they'll learn on guitar. That's crazy amazing.
