    had to tell you, I watched this vid this morning, just did my first doubleunder! I am hooked! I don't know how many guys at my age (68 8/12) can do one, but I just joined that club!!

    I've been trying to do this all my life. After watching your video, i can do it easy. Jumping straight up, first rope pass fast, second rope pass relax with use of the momentum of the first is perfect advice.

    I've been trying to do double unders for weeks now, I only could do 1 or 2 in a row but my timing was completely off. Today I wanted to give up until I've watched this tutorial once, and the tip of trying to jump without the rope was perfect, only thing I was missing was finding the rythm, so proud of myself for mastering this now, you guys are awesome, keep the good work !

    Dude, that is the best double under tutorial ever! I managed my first one a few days ago and struggled with tripping on the next jump. I just tried that advice about swinging hard just once and did around 6 double unders in a row! Amazing!

  • @jimmyhoffa2530
    @jimmyhoffa2530 2 года назад

    For some reason I've forgotten the rhythm to do double unders. I stopped working out for a few years and can't seem to get it right again. It's weird because I can still do criss crosses, regular jumping, running jumping and ect...but I have yet to get the timing back for double unders. But what dude says about doing the one hard swing and letting momentum carry the second swing makes total sense. Can't wait to try it. Thanks.

    I haven't watched the whole vid but I'll share one tip. I am 12 and was trying to do the double under but I couldn't. I watched him do it carefully and saw that when he jumps he make his feet horizontal. Mine were kinda vertical which made me get to the floor quicker. So I made my feet horizontal mid air and it worked. Just wrote it so if anyone has this prob, they can correct it. 😊

    • @JumpRopeDudes
      @JumpRopeDudes  8 лет назад +3

      It is *one* of the best forms of cardio for weight loss yes but really nutrition (specificially how MUCH you are eating) will be the biggest determinant of how much weight you lose. I am very confident you can lose 50 lbs by dialing in your nutrition and doing these workouts consistently. Be sure to check out our newly released course where we discuss all of this! I whip myself trying to do double unders, my forearms and the sides of my thighs are covered in painful welts. Now I fear jump roping because any mess up exacerbates my wounds.
