Bro she is the google voice for pronunciations
wow, mind blowing.. 🤯
Ya ya bro you'r right 👍
Almost sounds like a bot
Fr?
Or rather, she dubbed the google voice over her pronunciation, because even she can’t say “error” in American English.
(Well, I can’t say “error” with a British accent, so we’re even 😂)
Your American English is awesome 😂 Definitely sounds like a new person

@@jojo-fr6fj Neyi? :D İngilizce bilmiyorsun sanırım 🤣
Doesn't matter US or British I love Lucy's pronounce ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mirror is my best friend because when i cry it never laughs.
🤣😂 it's the best to mock yourself
😭
Omg same 🥰
That's deep
👍😁
Oh my her pronounciation is better than a dictionary sound in Google.
She is the classic classy English Rose.
Beautiful and intelligent.
In the Northeast US, we pronounce both words (actually a lot of words) like the British do, without pronouncing the R at the end, unless the next word starts with a vowel. Here it's known as "The Boston Accent". Matt Damon is a great example of someone who speaks with a Boston Accent. As you move further south and west, people start to pronounce the R's
Dude, is New York State not a part of the Northeast US? We pronounce the Rs.
@@floepiejane Only if you're Sox fans
@@geophizz ??? Is that a New York City reference? I'm near Niagara Falls. I never even think of the Sox.
@@floepiejane Yeah it was. I should have given it more thought. That's a nice area. My grandmother came from Jamestown.
In Bristol and the south west of the U.K. we definitely pronounce our R’s at the end of words
This lady is so beautiful, I can't stop watching her videos. And the way she speaks British English is wonderful as well.
Her sundress is stanning.
Agree. Lucy is beautiful. She is a very lovely person. ❤❤❤

In Jamaican English: mirrah, errah 😆
🤗😄
In chinglish too
Jamaican english is based off British English, many people fail to understand this. This includes Indian English too.
Love the American. It is certain and predictable for a new language learner
It's so weird when you hear someone say "meer" (refering to a mirror) for the first time...
That was many years ago for me.
Now I've observed that not only (some) Americans say "meer" but also some Irish people.
I do lol
I'm either or
@@christmaslightsuptilljanuary What do you mean?
You do say "meer"?
That is totally fine - almost everyone is using some kind of regional "accent" and there is nothing wrong with that.
All I was trying to say is - that if someone is used to hear people pronouncing this word "mirra" or "mirror" for decades, it's really weird to hear someone for the first time to pronounce it "meer".
Especially because it might take a while until you start realizing what "meer" is supposed to mean. (Depending on the context...)
true
@@ironwhy yeah I pronounce it meer, almost everyone I know does
That is why I like your videos. What a beautiful pronounce from you. Thank you.
I really love listening to British English Pronunciation.❤️
Lucy! I am not only loving the way you talk but I do love you all, you make British English sounds like a symphony.💓
can you teach me some expressions ?
Your American was perfect! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We indians mix both languages at a time while we speaking 😁
nah, you guys sound like tech support guy 😂
But u cannot pronounce T properly 😂
@@HongaarseDuif ok, mittor it is
@@HongaarseDuifIt's just a matter of T in Indian languages being different from English T. T in English is often aspirated and Native English speakers don't even notice this. On the other hand Indian T is unaspirated and sometimes with dental stop if the speaker has a "heavy accent". Another thing Indians do is use the aspirated T for voiceless Th sounds eg. Three becomes "Tree" and Tree becomes तree. Also voiced Th becomes D, like "this" becomes "dis". You don't quite pronounce "Thailand" as "ThighLand", do you? It has to be "tʰailand", in other words "aspirated T".

Being from the Boston USA area the British pronunciation of words ending in “r” Is common to the locals.

In British Scottish we always pronounce the ‘r’ at the end, in fact we keep it rolling for quite some time

An error is a mistake, an era is a period of time
I tried using these British pronunciations, but my brain just says "error, error"
I would say more accurately that it's Southern British English. In the parts of the UK (most notably Scotland) where a rhotic dialect predominates, the final r is always enunciated.
Lucy you're just changing lives by your contribution ... Bravo ...
Perfect example of beauty with brain ❤
Me in Aussie accent: Mirraa , Erraa-
Aussie accent on these two words is close to the British than the US.
@@jliang70yea
@@jliang70do you think the woman in the video from Britain?
I love your American accent
I think the voiced r in American English makes it easier to understand.
I like the way the R in the middle or end of a word is pronounced, It helps us easily distinguish one word from another.
Sweet and soft British English! I love it!
Greetings from Argentina!🇦🇷
I do prefer American English. I'm italian, and guess that for a not native speaker it's easier. Thank you so much, Lucy, for your lessons and your new RUclips channel 🙏
So in BE saying Mirror, mirror on the wall, each mirror is pronounced diferently?
No.
If it is followed by a vowel sound, it's without any doubt pronounced (connected speech).😉
/mɪ.ɹə.mɪ.ɹɚ.ɹɔn.ðə.wɔl/ (even though the actual line from the Evil Queen was "magic mirror" lol).
No. There's a space after the second mirror and on, so a comma, so no join together.
hi Lucy.good morning. In the Saudi Arabia
So informative! Thx Lucyy
God bless America and their english
Is that sarcasm?
Lucy always amazes with her extraordinary dresses.
OMG how r u so perfect and exquisite I love you 😍
Interesting, in Ireland, we definitely pronounce the r at the end. Hiberno English.
At the end when she pronounces “error” with American English, it sounds like a female robot voice

An honourable English teacher in the world.
I'm obsessed with British accent & the reason is only you. Accept my lovely greetings ❤️
You do know there's more than one British accent?
Depends on which UK accent you use - many do vocalise the final r albeit very softly.
I would like to practice my English with my teacher Lucy ...for the rest of my life.
Thank you ,dear ,praiseworthy lesson😍
It is not because it's at the end it's because in British Dialects you don't pronounce the R if it's after a vowel, typically seen as -er like "Water"
This Is super helpful, Ty
Lovely Lucy teaching English... lovely
Error in brittish sounded like someone imitating the sound of moving the disks of a dj station

In Ireland we always pronounce the R at the end of both words.
