Hiya. I just wanted to extend my sincere Thanks to everybody who has left comments and supported my strictly non-profit, humble home-made Todd documentary. As many would have noticed from viewing the film, it was indeed a labor of love and a 'Giving Back' to TR for all he has given me in my lifetime. I am very happy that so many of you have enjoyed the film and it's only a matter of time before another chapter is added to the series. Kindest Regards, Jason.

Incredible collection of material of the musical genius of our time. This was an amazing tour of Todd's musical journey with his followers. I have been a follower from the beginning in the very early seventies. There simply is not any one else like Todd Rundgren. I have seen Todd perform numerous times both solo and with Utopia and every show has been memorable and different. I have been lucky enough to meet Todd twice about 30 years apart. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and would highly recommend that everyone view it as well. Great Job !!

brad bourgeois even though I have not particularly liked some directions (most Utopia stuff and Arena just do nothing for me) you know he aint really going to stick there - you have to admire that
Its sad that 20 year olds are not exhibiting the daring and creativity that Todd has shown even over the last 10 years let alone his whole career

Hi this is Jason, I made the doco. I decided after some years to watch it again and I'm absolutely appalled by the adverts that keep appearing throughout it. I wanted people to know that it is NOT MY CHOICE. I am sorry it interferes with the flow of the film but as there are copyright claims the holders have monetized each play of the videos. That's fine, just wanted to let people know I don't make a cent nor ever intended to. Thanks for watching. JSK

Had the privilege of not only participating in Todd's 2 hour show last night, but also of interacting with other devoted fans during the hour before the show. EVERYONE I spoke with who knew about this series raved about it, and those who didn't were excited to discover it. I can only imagine that will be the case at all his shows and associated forums. Not sure if you've been on Rundgren Radio yet, Jason, but if not I can't think of a more appropriate media to promote this incredible homage to an artist who means so much more to his fans than just another rocker!

I have just watched all four parts of this superb documentary, one episode a day to ease my U.K. lockdown. So each day there was something to look forward to! Todd Rundgren has been one of the very few American artists I have had an interest in, preferring U.K. Prog Rock, and his whole catalogue of work leaves me in awe of this guy's genius and pure talent. This work would make a great TV documentary and you deserve recognition for the sheer effort it must have taken to produce this excellent piece of work. Congratulations.....Now, where is the next chapter!

In spite of the fact that I had heard all the music, seen almost all the footage, heard a lot of the interviews and seen 1/2 the pictures..... I was fucking riveted. What a monumental undertaking to assemble it cohesively and (more or less) chronologically!!!! Thank you Jason! Masterfully done.
I know it's almost a hackneyed thought at this point, but I don't see how anyone who is objective enough to recognize great music (regardless of their personal taste) and the depth of his contribution to it, could watch this and not see how deserving TR is of being in the RnRHoF, Thank you TR for providing the soundtrack to the majority of my life.

Why doesn't it surprise me that it took a dedicated and talented fan as yourself to do a 'just' documentary on Todd's life?! This is just spectacular! Kudos to you for doing what Todd has long deserved but never received from the mainstream documentary productions. Its this, seemingly, lack of respect throughout his life that has always haunted me. Others would make 'hits' from covers of his songs such as 'Love is the answer' when, in fact, his version was by far the best! While he isn't a shy man, he is pretty humble, and this, no doubt, and his unwillingness to play the 'corporate games' contributed to his lack of mass public appreciation especially in the latter years. But his real fan base admires him for that! Its always been his willingness to go his own way, regardless of the consequences, that have truly made him so attractive to those that can appreciate that spirit of freedom and independence as well as his amazing talents as both an artist and producer. Todd rocks, and so do you my friend! Thanks for this wonderful gift to us all!

What a treat ! I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. We know it's a hackneyed understatement to say that Todd is eclectic, but seeing his whole body of work explored chronologically like this, is really the best way to grasp his restless genius. What motivates that ? Like Todd himself says, (paraphrased) "I abandon any formula once I realize what I'm doing." And to me this is the essence of freedom and the only mental attitude allowing enlightenment. Thanks to you, Jason, for this diligent retrospective and thanks to Todd for all the breadcrumbs on the path..

Dear Jason. I folowed Todd since the end 60's en the early 70's, Influenced by my older brother Tom. My first ever live gig was the Ra concert at the Oosterpoort in Groningen the Netherlands. Since then i was hooked, and i still am. Me and my wife, who is influenced by me, visit every concert in or near the Netherlands. Once i got the change of playing withe Todd when he did the first ever interactive conceert in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. My dream came true.
Its great between all my same-feelers. I've got all Todd's material, including the Nazz albums, I learned a lot of the background information, because of your material. I'm realy greatfull of you doing this. From now on you and Todd have a connection. Feel that! Love Todd and you.

Jason, this is phenomenal work. I thought this documentary was insightful and enriching. The songs chosen, the videos and photographs/visuals used were well-chosen and great to see. Using Todd interviews to narrate this documentary adds a greater depth and richness. I especially liked the ads for Todd's albums, something I don't know that's seen anymore and the vast amount of footage. It's good to be able to see it all in one place.
I have read the first two volumes of Todd's bio, the books by Billy James and this is the video equivalent of that. The wonderful thing is the fact that Todd isn't done yet!

Jason, I want to thank you for sharing this wonderful non-profit work of yours. It is one of the most heartfelt, meticulously researched, and carefully crafted music documentaries I have ever seen. There are music documentaries out there on other platforms that clearly had bigger budgets than yours, but didn't come anywhere as close to hitting their target as you have in this four-part series.
I also want to thank you for not just giving us another dry recital of an artist's work in toto, but imparting the story of his creative life in a way that engages and inspires the viewer. You also gave us a glimpse - because that's all that anyone can hope to capture - of the spirit that moves behind that music, and that's what makes this such an excellent piece of work.
I've been a musician for forty years and have always considered myself a fan of Todd's, but I had no idea, in all that time, of the breathtaking panoply of styles, idioms, applications, venues, and collaborations that he has so passionately pursued over the course of his lifetime. In the past few days of watching this series, I've been inspired to pursue new ideas in my own music, and I think that's the greatest thing that any documentarian can hope to impart from one of his works. So, thanks, Jason. Stay well, and let us know if you have any works in mind for the future. I will tune in.

Dear Glen, I don't often reply to comments on my videos especially if they are positive as I am a very self concious guy in addressing praise for my work but I felt compelled to extend my sincere gratitude and thanks for your generosity and inspiring expression regarding your appreciation for the documentary. That it resonated with you so deeply and has also inspired you is something that has made me extremely happy. On a personal note I have bipolar disorder and my days can be tough to say the least and my esteem is often low , however your comment lifted my spirits today in knowing that my film which had no budget bar the electricity that powered my film-making program was so greatly appreciated. Of course, it was a true labor of love for an artist whose contributions have been criminally overlooked and I intended to hopefully articulate what Todd Rundgren has achieved both past and present and to hear that you felt I achieved that was very touching. I have a number of completed documentaries that RUclips has blocked on copyright grounds despite the Fair use allowance but I intend to have them uploaded to another site in the near future. There is a 4 part John Lennon series that like the TR doco, is told through John's own voice, the late comedian Bill Hicks, Jeff Buckley and many more. I will let you know when they become available if you so wish. Again, my heartfelt thanks for taking the time to let me know how you felt about my work. It means a lot. Regards, Jason

Watched all 4 installments in succession; thanks so much for taking the time to cull so many great photos and interviews for this expansive project. There is no musician more worthy than Todd.

Dude thanks so much for putting this together. I recently just starting getting into Todd Rundgren a couple months ago, and stumbled upon your documentary at just the right time. I learned more about him and his career than I think I could have ever done otherwise. Great work.

Excellent. A real antidote to the misery that 2016 has become.

Thanks Jason for this excellent doc. I've been a TR fan since S/A. When I came upon your work I watched all four from start to back -WHAT A BLAST! Much I knew, Much I learned. I was 18 in 1974, I saw Todd with Utopia play UTOPIA in Lincoln Nebraska's Pershing Auditorium. There were less than 600 people in the audience and Todd & the band dazzled and astounded us!
I am still hoping to meet Todd sometime before the end even though I don't know what I would say that isn't Cliche`. (Ya know, "Huge fan, Changed my life, Made me a musician, etc. etc.").
Thanks so much for all your loving work. I really enjoyed it. City In My Head...
(ps - all of us who love the feeling of freedom and love appreciate your generosity and devotion!)
    As Ringo says, PEACE!!
