Hello :). Today we enter into the world of Tesla! Let me know what you think about the band. Like, comment, subscribe ✨. Let’s connect: linktr.ee/mrspenpal
Jeff Keith has a passionate voice. Very talented band with underrated guitarists. Need to react to “Song and Emotion” This is a song written in memory of Steve Clark , the late guitarist from Def Leppard, whom you have reviewed. You would enjoy it.
Tesla is so good with a great catalog of music From rock to lighter stuff to acoustic songs. Jeff Keith. Vocals Frank Hannon. Guitar Brian Wheat. Bass / keys Tommy Skeoch. Guitar Troy Lucketta. Drums.
Absolutely love your reaction! This came out in 1989 when I was 17 years old. They debuted in 1987 with "Modern Day Cowboy". I've been a fan of Tesla since they debuted up until now. YES,, they still tour!. I saw them live in 1990, and they were as great as this video. This song is a power ballad, so they have some harder rocking songs too. This is one of my favorite melodic guitar solos of all time.
Nikoli TESLA was an apprentice of Thomas Edison (father of modern electricity). Many claim Tesla was more innovative than Thomas, but Thomas had more power and corruption and squashed his competitors ideas. Edison was a proponent of Direct current, and Teslan a champion of Alternate current. Of course you know alternate current direct current better as AC/DC (where the band got their name). The band came along in the late 80s with a couple hits and then faded into darkness.
Saw Tesla 2 years ago in Vegas they brought the house down. 80's best decade for music. Where's all my Gen X rockers we can sing all these songs I still go to hairband concerts. Check out Dokken Alone again & Warrant Heaven.
The MULLET on that bass player is award winning! This bad is still awesome. Go see them live, it's like a house party, and those MUSICIANS will blow your mind.
Been a fan of Tesla since their debut album back in 87. I’ve seen them live many times, and they always deliver. And yes, that love song is one of the great love songs ever written.
You don’t have to apologize…..this is one of my favorite songs….i can listen to it over and over…big time fan from my time….brings back the best of times😊
for guitar practice as a teenager my teacher had me practice playing the opening of this song (full version). Still a huge influence of why I learned to play.
By the way, Tesla has an even better version of that song on their live album. Five man, acoustical jam. That version in my opinion is the best version of the tune.
I know everyone has their own tastes but for me the best power balled of all time with the most amazing vocals and lyrics, was Skid Row - I Remember You and thoroughly recommend you react to that song.
I spend a lot of free time watching African Americans react to music I like (not just white rock music), for some reason, this band is one of the top favorites among the community along with Journey. So, I was at this show as a 7 year old kid. It was at Cal Expo and they replayed this song like 8 times to get all the footage. They performed for almost 4 hours. Doing Zeppelin covers, Dylan covers as well as some new stuff they were working on. There is a banner that shows up for a second that says "93 Rock"... Back then that was 93.5 and eventually 93.7, Now it's "98 Rock" on 98.5. Over the years, these guys have become friends of mine. They are as awesome today as they ever were. They are nearing the end of their journey in music though but I'm sure you'll be able to hear them live for another few years. The singer (Jeff Keith) is getting older and his voice still sounds amazing but he recently mentioned that he couldn't keep it up much longer and it's a struggle now for all the prep.
I have been a fan of Tesla for 40 years. I highly recommend the song MAKING MAGIC. The guitar play is amazing. Most of the songs on the great radio controversy album are good. Songs like Lady Luck, Parties over, yesterday gone.
Try Tesla Song and Emotion. Story aboout Sreve Clark... guitarist of DeF Leppard who died in 1994. Tesla toured with them. I saw them in 1988 in Toronto Canada
The band got their name from Nikola Tesla, the inventor, at odds with Thomas Edison. And some of their albums and songs are themed around it. Tesla the car does somewhat the same thing with the name because he was known for his research with electricity (batteries), just many years later. This song was from 1989. I've seen them more times in concert than any other band, and I've seen a lot of concerts lol. But actually, yes, they still tour. They're a bit older now, this was 25 years ago lol.
Jeff Keith is one of the top 5 best singers. This group is awesome. Jeff was picked to sing the parts in the movie Rockstar, starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston. Great movie btw.
Yes they are Still Touring, Tesla has been 1 of the most under ratted bands around. But have Always been 1 of My favorites! ! ! They have plenty of other GREAT SONGS ! ! ! But WOMEN GO FOR THE BALLADS? Look em up. My favorite is Heavens Trail but you would like What you give.
This band seemed heavily like an Aerosmith cover band that wrote a couple of their own. Mr. Big was another group at the same time with the same feel and sound.
Hard for me to listen to this song. It reminds me of my brother that has passed but this was his favorites band. I still love the song but it brings on the 😭
I heard he broke up with his girlfriend because he was so busy and on the road. She didn't take it well and was convinced he had found someone else. He wanted to give her a positive vibe.
The Rooster came before the chicken or the egg, lol. Nikolia Tesla was the influence behind both the band and Musk brand. The band have a song about him also, called Edison's Medicine. Edison ripped Tesla off for many of his so called inventions. Tesla also invented the radio. The band named one of their albums also after this situation, The Great Radio Controversy.

My wife and I were at that concert in Sacramento, their hometown. They played it 3 times to get all the video shots, try What You Give. Your Great

Underrated Band... Great Live Band 🎉

I love Tesla. Their music was amazingly orchestrated and well written. Jeff Keith's voice is so unique. Raspy yet smooth as butter.

I have seen them 12 times in concert in AZ, MN and NE.

Seeing them tomorrow night!!!!!
🔥🔥🔥
The lead guitarist wrote that song for his sister that was going through a breakup. You should listen to the song”song and emotion “ by Tesla
Great reaction thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Was at this shoot. One of the best videos of the era.
Oh wow that’s so cool ✨
Try Tesla Song and Emotion. Story aboout Sreve Clark... guitarist of DeF Leppard who died in 1994. Tesla toured with them. I saw them in 1988 in Toronto Canada
If you come to Sacramento CA we see these guys all the time

Fun fact Frank Hannon the guitarist here was the son in law of the recently deceased Legend Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers
Tesla- what you give
Tesla was a man.
Very smart
Still a MUST HAVE in any music collection !! It’s in my truck now !👊🏼🎸🙏🏼❤
👏👏👏

How about "Modern Day Cowboy"

Good lord you're gorgeous ❤
Loved the 70’s and 80’s, so much good music was coming out but sadly the music industry destroyed it all.
Look into - Mr Big ( To Be with you ) 🔥
Never break up a solo #1 rule
The band and the car took the last name of the American inventor Nikola Tesla. You can deep dive him and be blown up.
I don't like electric vehicles that breakdown in the middle of winter. I like Tesla though.
Too funny lol
No dont u who tesla is the man the intventer and there a connection between tesla the inventer hes the electrity guy he very interesting character
Giorno ragazza love your vibe
Hard for me to listen to this song. It reminds me of my brother that has passed but this was his favorites band. I still love the song but it brings on the 😭
I heard he broke up with his girlfriend because he was so busy and on the road. She didn't take it well and was convinced he had found someone else. He wanted to give her a positive vibe.
Sounds silly but he brought his daughter onstage not to long ago and he sang it to her, The crowd was okay with it.
The car and the band are named after Nikola Tesla.
Oh, and the egg came first. Long before there were chickens, reptiles, and amphibians and every other creature was laying some sort of egg.
Their other big hit was called PARADISE.
LOL. no, the car was named after the same genius the band got their name from
No. Tesla is the last name of Nikola Tesla. Then the band Tesla, then the car.
This 80's Melodic Rock band and also the Electric car 🚗 both are gotten their names from the same genius scientist Nikola Tesla ⚡
The Rooster came before the chicken or the egg, lol. Nikolia Tesla was the influence behind both the band and Musk brand. The band have a song about him also, called Edison's Medicine.
