You're on a super fabulous roll. I will suggest "Modern Day Cowboy" for the rock of it. But, these boys are local from, Sacramento,Ca. They did a "Food Drive" free concert. Only bring some food for the hungry people in our world. Tune is "The Way It Is" super great video/tune. In answer to your question, "Where did the music go?" By the mid 80's Rock n Roll Industry killed it. We never ever believed we would see the death of "Rock" or, many greats from the 60's to early 80's.
Tesla was my favorite band during the 80s. Every song in the great radio controversy album is good. Making Magic has amazing guitar play. Lady Luck, The Party’s over, Yesterday Gone, Heavens Trail are all good songs.
Jeff Keith is the best singer of ROCK! No CAP! I love Tesla! In the movie “Rock Star” starring Mark Wahlberg, they used Jeff’s voice as the lead singer in the movie. That’s how awesome he is. You should listen to him acoustic and live. He’s just amazing…This coming from a mega Sammy Hagar “best voice” fan. ❤❤
I was blessed that my teens was in the 80s music then was so awesome from Heavy Metal my fav. To rap the British Invasion of bands freestyle Good Times back home in L.A
Such a great band! They still put on a great show! They put out a song a couple of years ago called cold blue steel. Great song! The video is on RUclips. Some idiots in the record industry thought grunge was going to last and killed this genre on purpose.
I’ve got a theory why music sux nowadays. The internet has made it easy for any wannabe to press a button for a beat and spew some mindless rap over it. Where in the old days the record companies would have to find talented individuals and hope they’d develop and deliver commercially viable music and thus pump a lot of money into cultivating that band. Today there’s little overhead and the record companies don’t really care about quality cause the youth will follow each other and consume the garbage that’s being fed to them if that’s the only choice they have.
People do not need record labels/companies if they want to put out their music. They just have to be willing to put in the effort and do the work themselves. I wish more folks understood that. The labels have been screwing musicians/artists, in many ways, for far too long!!!

It was a cold day in 1988, they took Rock n Roll behind the barn and put it down.

Feeling loved is an excellent description of the way this song makes a person feel. I dig it man. Guitar solo was sick too!
A great rock ballad back from my 20s! The Big Hair Bands never get their accolades. Great review, glad you liked it!
I love the hair bands.
Very insightful question
it bugs me that the band gets lumped in with the "hair band" BS...these guys are the real deal...
The 80’s just faded but especially with the help of grunge bands starting with nirvana in the short term
