Anything aj Fernandez is in my humidor. I personally have tried Pardon and I wasn't impressed.The price point is ridiculous. Cigars don't have to be expensive to be good.Everyone has their favorites.
I remember the first time I saw a Mayan pot with a man smoking a cigar on it and I thought it was a fake. Mayans were smoking cigars for thousands of years. The word cigar is Mayan.
I love Perdomo to death, probably my favorite overall brand. But ive had way too many duds from Oliva's main lines. Altho they have man sub brands i like like NUB and Hellion
Cohiba is great. I have some cuban colleagues that bring me some cohiba cigars on really nice price. On the other hand, the prices of the cuban cigars are sooo high, in Spain at least ! An so I am going for the moment my top budget cigars are dominican.
I Love PUNCH... I almost NEVER have a Punch Classico with a bad burn... There are more "Complex" or flavorful blends but Punch are so consistent ... I also love Oliva, General Cigars Cohiba, AF, CAO, AB's, Camacho, and Ramon Bueso but I feel NAKED w/out a Punch in my Humi!!!

They were some of the most highly educated workers in the world. Dont forget Cuba at one time had the best education and medical care in the world!! AND CIGARS TOO!! There is still hand rolled cigars made in Tampa!! Hava-Tampa cigar!

I will say that Arturo Fuente is my all time favorite non-Cuban brand! The Cohiba Behike is definitely an all time cigar! But how can you not include Padron on this list behooves me. Padron is by far a superior brand!

Ashton is by Arturo fuente, it’s just a different brand… since Arturo fuente is on the list already, adding Ashton would be overkill in my opinion lol but ya, they’re awesome cigars for sure, the symmetry is legit the perfect cigar (if you can afford it)
It's all a matter of taste. Montecristo, Partagas No4, Hoyo de Monterrey - gimme any time. Cohiba - you can live on it, along with dozens of way, way cheaper brands. But there are many brands that are better - Padron, some of My Father's, Placencia... Davidoff - not for me, just don't like the taste. Fuente - better than Davidoff, but also not quite there. Romeo i Julietta - their last Belicoso I bought few years ago was so raw, full of ammonia that I could not smoke it at all. I don't know if since that crazy increase of prices for the Cubans their quality also went up, but before that the Cuban quality was terrible in about every 5th cigar and not good in about every other. If you did not have a cigar pick, buying Cubans was a waste of money. And even the pick did not always help. Everyone has their own experiences that buid their preferences.
This is such a subjective topic that it’s almost pointless. Some people could have the same list in a different order and some wouldn’t have any on their list. It’s best to just smoke them all.
It's something wrong in this video. The Cuban cohiba,Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta they are totally different brands like non Cuban cohiba ,Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta.
I'll add this. I was traveling last week and in South Carolina , I picked up 3 Cohiba. Big waste of about $40. Recently I purchased a box of Romeo y Julieta no.1 Cedro Deluxe and a box of no.2 Reserva Real. The no.1's are inconsistent. With about 10 left in the box, about half were rolled so tight they were impossible to enjoy. The other half were fine. The entire box of no.2's have been perfect. I've also purchased 3 boxes of rocky patel edge- very consistently good. 2 boxes of drew estate also good quality. I feel the Nicaraguan sticks are very well built and great quality, as are some of the Dominican, but not always. I'm seriously thinking about contacting RyJ about those no1's but I hate the hassle.
My favorite Cuban brand is Vegas Robania. It may be one of the newest licensed Cuban brands I've never got a bad one, can't say that about any other Cuban. Another of my go too brands is AVO. So many options and so well made.😎👍

Started with King Edwards, at age 10 . Then started buying Coronas any brand. Finally in my 40s it was Don Diego, finally ending with Monte Cristo. No longer smoke now, but can still enjoy the aroma.
I had a Monte Cristo cuban cigar in Cancun. Still to this day ever cigar I smoke I want that favor. I woke up during the night with the greatest favor in my mouth PAUSE. I have tried many cigar Fuente fuente make great cigars as well love the sweetness in the beginning. Patron 1926, rocky patel 1990 and aroma de Cuba at top in my humidor at all times.

As a a Cigar aficionado I've tried all of these Cigars and to me my favorite and best is PADRON!! hands down.
Cigars are like wines or whiskeys…everyone has their own palette and preference.

H.Upmann is the oldest in Cuba and is a better “cheaper” cigar than Cohiba being grown in the same region for a better price.
Por Larrañaga is the oldest. They have been producing cigars continuously since 1834! Upmann started 1844...close but no CIGAR! Hahah (awful, I know).
Padron and Oliva could easily take either spot 4 or 5. Honorable mention Drew Estate. They have a great selection as well.

I don't know why but I love the cheap cigars. I bought a $125 cuban cigar. I could not smoke it. It just tastes like floor sweepings.

I don't smoke anymore but when I did I liked any Arturo Fuente in maduro. Also really liked the Partagas maduro.
There is no BEST cigar brand. Everyone's palette tells them what's the BEST FOR THEM. Oliva isn't on your list and is BY FAR my favorite. So yeah.

I don't know if since that crazy increase of prices for the Cubans their quality also went up, but before that the Cuban quality was terrible in about every 5th cigar and not good in about every other. If you did not have a cigar pick, buying Cubans was a waste of money. And even the pick did not always help. Everyone has their own experiences that buid their preferences.
Hands down, Cohiba's are my favorite. Davidoff's are up there too. Haven't tried Montecristo yet, but that is on my short list.

This is such a subjective topic that it’s almost pointless. Some people could have the same list in a different order and some wouldn’t have any on their list. It’s best to just smoke them all.

I'll add this. I was traveling last week and in South Carolina , I picked up 3 Cohiba. Big waste of about $40. Recently I purchased a box of Romeo y Julieta no.1 Cedro Deluxe and a box of no.2 Reserva Real. The no.1's are inconsistent. With about 10 left in the box, about half were rolled so tight they were impossible to enjoy. The other half were fine. The entire box of no.2's have been perfect. I've also purchased 3 boxes of rocky patel edge- very consistently good. 2 boxes of drew estate also good quality. I feel the Nicaraguan sticks are very well built and great quality, as are some of the Dominican, but not always. I'm seriously thinking about contacting RyJ about those no1's but I hate the hassle.

My favorite Cuban brand is Vegas Robania. It may be one of the newest licensed Cuban brands I've never got a bad one, can't say that about any other Cuban. Another of my go too brands is AVO. So many options and so well made.😎👍

@@pavijan cut the man some slack, he don't know what he don't know. Robaina plantations in Cuba are the only ones that Castro allowed some independence. It's a great cigar, but I had to put some age in the humidor to smooth them out.

Started with King Edwards, at age 10 . Then started buying Coronas any brand. Finally in my 40s it was Don Diego, finally ending with Monte Cristo. No longer smoke now, but can still enjoy the aroma.

I had a Monte Cristo cuban cigar in Cancun. Still to this day ever cigar I smoke I want that favor. I woke up during the night with the greatest favor in my mouth PAUSE. I have tried many cigar Fuente fuente make great cigars as well love the sweetness in the beginning. Patron 1926, rocky patel 1990 and aroma de Cuba at top in my humidor at all times.
