I had the great pleasure of meeting Edward and Eddie at their shop during my recent visit to London. They were exactly as I expected them to be; true gentlemen. It was also a great experience to explore their humidor and make a few selections.
Why do you say that, they sell the same cigars at the same price as everyone else, just with better customer service than most. Not everyone who is successful is a cheater. For the Cuban stuff they don't even set the prices, those are the same in every single cigar shop in England
@@djstucNo worries, I know, I just really do take people too seriously here. Yes, in general I find customer service in UK to be great but I do think Davidoff has the most knowledgeable staff of any of the shops I visited. They are much more formal than cigar shops in US but I think its more of a rich man's hobby there whereas here its a blue collar atmosphere
I neither smoke nor drink, but I always make sure to view these videos, especially with the Sahakians. Eddie has such an incredibly welcoming and warm demeanor, and he shows that he truly does appreciate Kirby. A conversation between gentlemen is always marvelous to watch. It’s a great thing to experience every once in awhile! I have a drink once a month and a cigar once a week. I would never suggest anyone do it all the time because it won’t feel as special then.

I am so happy to find this. What a breath of fresh air to listen to these two gentlemen talk; my job comes with a great deal of time spent in harsher social environments, so this again is just wonderful.
Mr. Allison, I hope this reaches you in good health. I’ve been a follower on my old account for years. Last year, I purchased my first cigar. I was let down by the experience as it wasn’t a very good one. Today, I had the itch to try again and it was successful! I purchased cigar around the 20$ range and it was aged in whiskey barrels. What an extraordinary cigar. I smoked it this evening and it was just an impeccable experience. I want to thank you and the Sahakians for starting this journey of mine. I paired it with a dram of Caol ila. The flavor profile of the cigar was amazing. It was so peaceful. The first peaceful evening I had since my father passed away. I had some Duke Ellington playing in the background and it was perfect. My next goals are to get a nice fitting suit and boots as well. I’m a union ironworker and we aren’t known to be astute gentleman but, I’m trying. I enjoy high quality things in all aspects of life. These videos remind me of my father and it’s made a special connection with me. Thank you again. It’s a small tip, but I wanted to show my appreciation. I wished it was more. A friend of mine has purchased an array of cigars in Puerto Rico at Don Collins for me to try! I’m excited. Take care !
I’ve been using the Boveda 84 but the humidor doesn’t seem to be holding the humidity. I’ve tried it with cigars in the himidor plus the 84 and still doesn’t hold it. I’ve had the humidor for years but never keeps great control.
The Cuban Davidoff was the only choice. I never smoke anything over 50 ring. It's getting tough for me these days. The Davidoff is a bucket list cigar. The punch would be a second choice. I just had an 85' Cohiba a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cigars in the 80s and 90s were far better before the aging than they are today. I have also smoked a diplomatic Trinidad.

Hi Kirby, im a recent follower but am very much enjoying your channel, particularly the episodes when you smoke with Eddie. I'd be very interested in your opinion on pipe smoking which is a passion of mine. Id love to see you enjoy a pipe at Davidoff. Thank you from Australia.
That won't happen, he's too good for smoking a pipe or even new world cigars for that matter. He is an exclusive Cuban smoker and that's it as it fits his "status" even though new world cigars have caught up. I'm a pipe smoker myself but Kirby is too good for anything that isn't a Cuban which is evident.
I met Eddie at Davidoff of London during a trip to England last year. I really wanted to check out the store after watching Kirby's videos and I ended up buying a bucket list item (Dunhill tobacco pipe). Eddie was so kind and gracious, it really made my day.
I have a suggestion for Kirby. Drop a bit of the pretense and get real. You can tell in this video when he and Eddie got real around the 1430 mark when they started toasting and discussing supersize cigars. The conversation truly became interesting then and both gentlemen really assisted the viewer with their knowledge without being pretentious. I was impressed with Kirby’s knowledge of cigars.
I just bought my first few cigars. My first I'll be trying is a davidoff that was recommended to me by the worker I asked to help pick my selection. Of course, I will be watching this video and smoking along this time. I always enjoy these videos
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Edward and Eddie two weeks back. They are long time friends of my fiancés family. Edward so kindly allowed me to enjoy the 2015 Bolivar. What a treat. We later proceeded to spend some time in the sahakian lounge. Thank you for reigniting my passion for cigars.
