- I caught the most unexpected thing while winter hybrid bass fishing. The Garmin Livescope was really doing its job today while we finally got on the fish. Join us as we show you tips and tricks to how to catch winter bass on lakes.

It was a good day. It’s been getting tougher and tougher though.
@BooneBoys glad it's not just me lol. We went to waurika Friday and killed it, went Saturday morning and caught them until 9 am and couldn't get much going after that.

If you do lose your minnkota remote or it quits or you forget it, you can pair the minnkota to your phone and control it with your phone. I've had to do it twice. Saved the day. Great video

Great video! My son actually picked some of those jig heads and flukes up at H2O tackle in Elk last week. Pretty good selection there.
Hoping to get to cobb this weekend to break in the new active target on some crappie. Hybrids been rough on us so far this winter.
I liked the jig heads, i'm with you on the hybrid bass, it's been tough. Hope you get on those crappie, we probably will wait until february or march to get on some crappie.
Glad you got that remote back. Those things aren’t cheap and losing it would ruin any trip!
If your i-Pilot on your trolling motor has Bluetooth, get the app on your phone. If your remote ever dies you can control your motor with the app. My Terrova has it and it’s great.
Also the app is how you can get software/firmware updates to your motor and remote. Fixes a lot of issues like speed of gps lock and better sensitivity etc.
If you have an older generation that isn’t Bluetooth enabled Minn Kota sells upgrade kits that should allow you to add in that ability. Well worth it!

I don’t think I’ve seen a specific spray work best, but Gulp Crawdad seems to work as good as any.
