Thanks for the video and the info. I get my Goldendoodle in 2 weeks. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm definitely getting cold feet with the feeling of how my life will change and how I won't be able to do things I've gotten used to lately. Last couple of years I've begun to work out and get out of the house more and now will have to consider the puppy in everything. I figure it'll be a huge adjustment in the beginning but in a few months after establishing a routine, I'll be able to get back to doing the things I currently like. I also wanted a Golden Retriever but don't want to deal with all the shedding and dog hair. It's pretty much how I settled on a Goldendoodle. What up nephew! Continue to be a good boy for your mom.
Congrats on your upcoming new baby, don't let the hurdles discourage you. the journey will be a beautiful one... and dont worry about losing your routine completely just focus on fitting him into it overtime, you got this

Sage is gorgeous! I have a cavapoo and he's 1 and a half, Like you, I drove 10 hours (DC to OH) to pick him up from a breeder at 8 weeks old. Changed my life completely. I love my doggie so much, I think I have the separation anxiety. But I still work from home so I'm able to take him out multiple times during the day and he's just the coolest. He sits right under my desk while I work, when he hears me hang up the phone, he's like "Let's go Play",
Awe! Thank you for sharing! Sage is adorable! I got a Fawn colored Bouvier Des Flandres 2 yrs ago. He was 7.5 weeks old when We brought him home! Our lives has changed DRASTICALLY! My boy is approximately 100lbs of solid muscle covered with fluff! 🥰
Love this video!! It’s been a while since I had a puppy so all your videos have been so helpful OMG, the biting is so bad with my 4 month old puppy. I have been so abused and it’s a real struggle. I got very emotional when you got emotional because the love of a dog in your life is AMAZING and this is from someone who had a child as well!!
Crate/kennel training pays off! I’m glad you stuck with it! Mine is a year old now and it’s like I gave up on the kennel for 3 weeks ( then went back to it). It was taking too long to get her adjusted and I was going on no sleep and just thought it was easier to have her roaming! . Constant barking made me give up … but work on it … they finally figure the kennel out. Kennel training or crate training is the best thing ever. Mine has a kennel ( the hunting dog type kennel) and all I have to say is ‘kennel’ and off she goes into it. In the beginning it was a fight to get her in and bolt that kennel shut! Hard work always pays off. Same with potty training. Mine was good after a week. We have a dog door and she just followed the other two dogs and just got the hang of it quickly. During a hurricane the kennel becomes their safe place.

Happy Sunday sweetie, Sage is beautiful but big😮. Did you know he was going to get that big? When I was young I had a German Shepherd she bit me Twice the first time I was stunned,the second time she did it I bit her back🤭and even though I had a mouth full of hair she NEVER did it again. I was actually 5 years old 🤣😂🤣. He is adorable ❤❤❤❤

4 am and I found this video!!! Saved my Goldendoodle's life!! Kidding, but seriously. This has helped me not feel so different. My "Nico" was born April 21st, a day after Sage. ❤
Great video. Sage is gorgeous. I watch Bailey's channel and her new puppies. I feel the same way you do about dog hair. My Yorkie and Yorkie mix do not shed at all. I also feel that my Yorkie has definitely helped with my anxiety. Don't know what I would do without him. Again enjoyed your video so much. Thank you
Great to see you and to hear about your experience with your puppy. I myself have a Doberman pincher who was rescued from a horrible breeder so she’s got allot of fear. She is also a sucker if given the chance she will suck holes in blankets, rugs out couch etc. We got new furniture and she is no longer aloud on it because she sucked a hole in our other one. Anyway if I had known what I know now I would have never adopted her breed. She’s obsessive to the point of harming herself to self soothe. I can be sitting next to her and she will still lick her paw. She’s allergic to everything and extremely high Maintance as as vet visits shots and she unfortunately has wobblers so the cold is extremely hard on her so much so that we’ve got to decide when her pain is too much for her. All this being said I absolutely love my Dobbie she is sassy loyal and loving. She’s just as crazy as my dude is 😂 he’s her person and that is everything.
This is great. I do not have a puppy nor am I thinking of getting one anytime soon but my daughter has a puppy and struggling with the potty training. I am definitely sending this to her.

I get it, if you truly care for a dog it is trying. I dog sat my granddog for 5 days she wore me out. The dog is clingy every move I made there she was. She thought I was a chew toy , she is not biting hard but little teeth are sharp. Dogs just want to be loved so if you ain't got that don't bother getting one. So I hear ALL your love for your fur baby.

Sage is absolutely adorable! I love having a puppy. My cavapoo is so friendly and loves meeting new people but is 1.5 now and we’re getting into the reactive stage around other doggies because he wants to play 😕 would you mind sharing the link to the e-collar? I think the beeps may really help him

I have been strongly considering and desiring a dog from R&R, I am a teacher so my schedule is typically from 8:30-4:00 each day, I would love to work from home, but at this time, I haven't made that transition just yet... is it possible to still get a puppy being that I wouldn't be home during those hours? I know I can pay someone to come and walk him and take him out, but the way this teacher pay is set up.... lol.
How does he use the toilet when you have to go out without him ?

Hang in there! My yellow lab is 4 years old and he is wonderful! He does the same thing as Sage when he wants to go "outside." He will come and get me if he needs to go outside.
