Hi! First, obviously, make sure they have a clean bill of health from the vet. Unfortunately, if this happens for non-medical reasons, your only option is to keep a close eye on your pup. I find this happens if dogs were transported via airplane and had no choice but to pee inside their crate, puppy mill pups, or any other situation where they couldn't hold it, and they desensitized themselves to going pee in the crate and peeing on themselves. Basically, you will have to attach your pup to you via a leash so you can stare at your puppy the entire time. Another option is to take a weekend and just dedicate to staring at your pup, and taking them outside a TON, really really reinforcing for going outside. It's a lot of work, but if you just take this weekend, you should see a huge improvement.
@@LisaGallegos thank you... he’s had a vet visit to rule out any medical issues. He was born with a deformed and missing front leg so he already has some challenges. He is from a breeder I know so he had a good start other than the birth defect. He is my third dog so I’ve got some experience. He’s seems “delayed” in some areas so I’m wondering if this is part of it. We will try the weekend idea!

I have raised pups over the years, I'm an alpha owner and usually large breed GSWD/GSD. I had miniature poodles when I was young, as well as a miniature schnauzer. I now have a petite golden doodle and this is tge first time I have struggled with the potty training. He does great for the most part, though he has some accidents in the house. Only peeing, though. Your video is very helpful, thank you. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop him from eating everything in the hard??? I have been having to leash walk him for 2 weeks now due to him eating sticks and anything else. He is 20 weeks old and I got him at 16 weeks.

I set my watch for every hour but sometimes I get distracted by a phone call. Please help, she will mostly pee in her play pen, not the crate & does go 7 hrs at night because I pull water & treats at 7, she goes to her crate at 11pm.
