I like the extension of the island with the beverage fridge. It elongates the island, but for some reason makes the entry point stand out.
I would more than likely contact the HOA about the neighbors' fence.
Make the HOA use their powers for good instead of evil.
Like when they had you out there tilling the ground like a pioneer woman in the front lawn! 😭😭😭😭😭😆😆😆😆😆😆
I would put the Beverage Fridge back on the Back wall!! And then extend the Island with 1 additional cabinet to keep it uniformed with your beautiful kitchen space already and place the wood cutting board on top..

I think that space would be great as a music/ meditation/ library lounge area.
I love the big cozy couch feel. I would give it another 1/2 week and follow up with the neighbor, especially since the cat is starting to invade your space. Not to mention it's where they keep their garbage cans from what it looked like in the video. I think once you add more decor to the front room it will look more "together ".

IMO firm instance regarding neighbors is best. As a single female homeowner many may seek to take advantage. Friendship can come AFTER the privacy is secured.

for the kitchen i would put the wine fridge against the back wall, and bring the other cabinet by the iLand to extend it, God bless! 💓
Half butcher block or full stone countertop with wood base. Look up white kitchen with wood island. The wood definitely warms the space.
Your sofa is so nice. I can see you taking a many naps on that bad boy and just enjoying it. I love the very neutral natural color of it the most. Makes it so versatile. Yeah about them boxes....NOOOO!!! I'm the same way and my hubby will not help or assist in that AT ALL! He takes them out and thinks he is Tarzan once done. Boy bye! Don't throw that rug away of give it away! That's from Mama and so special. Lol. I like the beverage fridge on the way to open up the floor space more in your kitchen. It just gives you more room. This is good especially when you have company over. I also love the DIY ghost making kit you are putting together please show us the finished product.

Your new couch is beautiful and perfect for your space. Your other couch is a great piece for your spacious entryway, I know you will create some wonderful ideas for this space also known as the foyer. Happy decorating! I know the situation with the neighbors can be frustrating but in my opinion it will be best to approach it anonymously through those who have the authority in these matters. Approaching them personally might not be a good idea. They need not know who addressed the concern. I hope this helps.Love your content. Stay as sweet as you are. I love to see how others decorate / renovate their homes. It gives me ideas for mine. Would your old couch fit in your master bedroom? If so, you could have your own sitting area up there. Now, go rest up for the next video update. ☺️

Beverage fridge looks good. Turn it around so the doors face out and the back of fridge is against the island to eliminate eyesore of back of fridge.
I would keep the beverage fridge by the island with the opening facing the dining room table. So the back is facing the island. Very nice 👍🏾

I think changing the color on your coffee table to black would balance everything with the different wood tones from the sectional, floors and mantle. The sectional looks great in your living space!
I love the new sofa, I also like old sofa in that other room. I liked the wine fridge over by the window but by the island is great too. One thing about having a home there’s always something to do especially people like us who love to decorate. I did a little DIY in my living room with my ikea lack shelf, and I’m working on another small installation project on the side between the barn door and the TV wall. I have the same type of fence, and on the other side is Maximus aka CUJO the Rockwilder. my fence back there is a dry rotting part of it fell down into my yard and he noticed and tried to shove his head through there so I went around and contacted the neighbor and he boarded it up. When my coins are right I’m going to go ahead and put one of those acrylic fence in front of that fence the HOA doesn’t care what I do in the back just don’t do anything strange in the front. 😊

I think if you should put the beverage fridge back on the wall and extend the countertop there. You should also still extend the island but add a pull out trash bin.

This new sofa definitely fits your space so so much better than the old one, definitely is giving cozy comfort and it’s everything ❤❤❤and beverage fridge with the island and just extend it like your doing now, and me personally you might want to put your cushion outside up until the fence is fixed because cats like to pee on things or destroy things

Im here for a *custom* island size butcher block. It def adds character and balances out all the white.Yes! For the wall panels it will add so much needed character to the lounge/den area.
I like the idea to extend the island!
Definitely need the island with the fridge in it that looks so lux bit definitely the same stone and a waterfall on that side like yu have on the entry way counter would also just bring the dining area together

I would like to see you put a round table between those two chairs at that window after your Christmas tree is down and you can use it for a extra little dining area to eat that when you have other people over that way you could just save your tears you get a extra space for eating it will be so cute and cozy in there and I see that for you.

Concerning the fence, I would have a conversation with the neighbors of splitting the cost and putting in a new fence. If that didn’t connect with them…..for safety reasons,
I would prioritize and replace the fence myself….yes it would be a financial hit, but safety comes first and with the added appeal of a new fence, you win in the end.
The metal garden things you purchased are tomato cages. Your home is beautiful.

Your home is coming along nicely. So fortunate to be selected to review a sofa. What a gift. This sofa is larger so I would edit some items out of the room. It does seem a bit tight. With a room full of guests on the sofa, not much space to move around in there. A bummer on the light fixture screw flying out from a random rug bump, lol. Home Depot/Lowes should have it if you can't find the old one. The kitchen space has flow around the island now. You can use the carboard to place in areas you plan to extend to see how it impacts the flow in there. I know you want to keep that cat out of your yard until the neighbors come through with fence panels. If they don't, perhaps you can locate a couple of similar used panels to put in place. They might not have the finances. I hope you vlog the Halloween party.

OMG I love that couch set the legs and the slide in backrest it's more stable it makes it easier to take apart good buy 👍🏼the area looks wider than before.and more comfortable.
Girllll just move the front of the beverage fridge to face the dining room. That way you have the back part of the fridge facing the island and you don't have to extended with material
Sis you're doing it with the furniture, and I enjoy the lifestyle videos. The backyard fence, I would place a long piece of wood from Lowe's at the bottom with bricks or nails to keep out critters & the cloth in place. Also some cat/dog repellent along fence line. Your home is looking good and Mama's rug was cute!

The beverage fridge looks great next to the island and I think the butcher block would look great.
Since you're having guest soon, I thought draping a runner or inexpensive curtain panel over the back of the wine fridge would camoflauge the back of it temporarily. Also suggest leaving the rug in the front room served a purpose of anchoring the old sofa in the space making it look more intentional. (rug looks fine on camera) Hoping the back fence issue gets resolved or a call to the HOA to see what they can do about it may be the only option.

Love the sectional in this space! My sister recently purchased a sectional for her new home. Every time I called her after she moved, we would both die laughing, because “yea, I’m in the same spot!” 😂😂 Enjoy it! She lives alone, so she literally has ALL of the couch until we come visit and even still, she finds that spot!

I love the new couch. It looks like you have holes in the tarp also, along the bottom, across the back fence. I would hammer stakes into those grommets to keep the cat from crawling underneath it. I would use the front area for seating, instead of a dining room. But, you know what you like and what you need. I can't wait to see the updates.

I like both sofa and how u have them but another open for the old sofa is to take the 1 part of it and place it in your bedroom 😉 also if you have long landscape staples you can use them to help hold down that white fabric in the yard..

Sis if you decide to keep the cooler by the island when you get extra funds have a electrician put you a outlet 😅n that side and if you put it back on the other side have him lower the upper outlet so it’ll be behind the wine cooler then you just patch and paint the wall😂

Question❓ where's blue 🔵? The screw probably got hooked up in the rug that hit it, and maybe you can turn the drinks fridge so the back of it faces the island and get a bigger butcher block to cover and heighten to match said island 🏝️ ☺️.
