That "period!" meme always catches me off guard 😂😭 Yup, you did well to stain the legs because it did make a difference and add to the cohesiveness in the room. lol yes, I've been to a nursery numerous times and it's the best place to go because you get all the plants, pots, plant food, info etc you need at much lower prices than other retailers. Yessss to rhe peach arch wall😍 I have two plants I haven't named for 6months so you're good sis 😁 I'm tingling alright 😂 Loved how you took us through the journey from beginning to end. Speaking of protecting your investments, I have both a cutting machine and sewing machine. When you can purchase (or make) dust covers for them both. If I’m not mistaken I believe your sewing machine came with one.
But yeah, protecting from dust will prolong the life of both machines.

I have been watching this channel since you were going through it with your home purchase. The light fixture installs, the vendors that tried it in your kitchen reno, the licensed plumber that you outdid on the shower faucet leak repair. The garage floor and gym transformation. I am so impressed at how you tune in to how you feel about each choice you make, you and have overcome every obstacle you faced along the way. Such intention you put into every item in each room reflects you at every turn. This office makeover screams Shanda in every nook and cranny. Amazon has some very compact grow lights that you can actually plug in and put on the plant at night while your not in the room. Thats what use and it works great! The grow light I have look like a small desk/ reading lamp. I put it away during the day and bust that thing out at night to give my plant baby some light lol.
Yes love the new plant and yes a rug or rug for chairs withe rollers on them but yes I see what your doing the office is going to be lovely 👍🏿🙋🏾♀️

I'm permanent wfh as well ( my company was majority remote prior to the "panorama") and I do NOT miss going into the office. I enjoy my life more now that I am not wasting time in traffic or getting up 2-3 hours earlier to get ready. I enjoy having the sun as my alarm clock in the morning the way nature intended lol. My next goal is to either scale down to a 4 day work week or a 30 hour work week. As I'm getting older, I want more of my time back.

Yes I've been to a nursery, but I've also purchased plants from Lowes. Where ever I purchase from I always repot and make sure there's no fungus gnats!

I have 2 fiddle leaf 🍃 figs! I've had them for about 2 months and I have them in front of a window where they get bright indirect sunlight on most days. My bigger floor fiddle has produced new leaves already. So, so far, so good!
My fiddle leaf is actually the first plant I bought in my apartment about 3 years ago. It was a tiny little thing and it’s about 5 feet tall now. I find them to be super easy and I’ve had terrible luck with monsteras but you have more than enough space to move her around the house if you need to. Office looking gorgeous.

At least if you get it from lowes or Walmart you can return them if they die. I think u have like a year to return. But I LOVE to support local nurseries. Trader Joe’s also has some nice plants for the low low and check out your local farmers markets too for great deals. Love your office series. I just found you and I’ve been bingeing
