Not just the fact he won the world title back at 45. I think what's more impressive is that he beat a in his prime Micheal Moore who was a unified undefeated world champion 💯
When a man enters middle age he looks back in his life and has regrets on what could have been. Most of us resign to the fact and move on. Not George he got up out that chair and went in to win the world title. Unbelievable man
BoxCuber Yes that’s true like Tyson was bank rolled in. George has to start at the bottom again. Knocking out all mofos on the way to the peak and then beating an undefeated unified champion. Stuff of legends big George definitely my favourite boxer of time. Always humble and intelligent but in the ring he’s gonna bang you out.
@@megadave1197 lol what? mike tyson will always be a better boxer then foreman and learn your history foreman was never supposed to fight michael moorer but he bought himself in.. plus didnt foreman say on live TV he was afraid of Mike tyson?
BoxCuber Yes agreed that Tyson will always be a better technical boxer. However in my view he didn’t have the heart to beat Foreman. Tyson consistently got beat by top contenders throughout his career once he was hurt. Foreman was a ferocious puncher and a fearsome figure. Tyson would have wilted like a flower. Yes George said that but he was just being humble. That’s the type of guy he is. A great man one of the best ever but agree not technically the most skilled.
@@eboymorales3047 if he had the boxing brain from his second career in his first he would've stopped hitting Ali when he was on the ropes and return to the middle of the ring, calling Ali to fight him the center
Big George with the prime of both aspects would be the best Heavyweight boxer to ever graze the ring. He would have destroyed Ali if he had the experience from his second run at the title.
Foreman was a bad man! 20 years past his prime still had all these 25 year old new era heavyweights too shook to stand and trade with him, those who did... met that canvas.
In round 7 of the Tommy Morrison he hit morrison with a jab and Morrisons eye popped out the socket for a second, Holyfeild said Foreman hit him harder than any other fighter including Tyson, Lewis and Bowe. Shannon Briggs (who fought a 48 year old Foreman) claimed Foreman hit harder then Klitscko and Lewis, he always said he couldn't sleep for two weeks after the Foreman fight. He hit Micheal Moorer so hard that he split Moorers gumsheild in two and left moorer needing multiple stiches inside his mouth. Foreman had sickening power and overall body strenght, they say Mike Tyson wanted no parts of him
@@ThinkBritishEnglish I think that the 40+ year old version of Foreman was better than the 25 year old Foreman because he had the experience and knew when to strike and when not too. Also I'd say he hit a little bit harder than he did in the 70s.
Your Reckoning in the 70's Forman was a wrecking ball , in the 80's 90's he was a wrecking ball with patience. It's a shame he didn't have that patience in Ali fight.
40 year old foreman was much slower both of hand and foot, he was very sluggish, he was way easier to hit, His reflexes had almost completely diminished and he no longer had that fierce intention to hurt his opponent. Younger Foreman was less patient/less experienced, but he was way faster, sharper, threw more punches and was more effective at cutting off the ring, Young Foreman gave Ali a very hard fight for the 1st 8 rounds, 40 year old foreman wouldn't of landed a glove on Ali. Young Foreman DEMOLISHED Fraizer with ease, I doubt a 40 y/o would of even beaten Fraizer let alone demolished him in 2 rounds. Young George would never of lost to Morrison or Holyfeild.
He beat that kid with his brains. Wasn't even close. That kid wasn't a veteran. Things start changing fast after the 8th round and it's easy to get tunnel vision, rely on reflex and instinct. Reflex and instinct are the two easiest things to manipulate.
@@j.j.guerrieri5257 There have been strong assertions that a young Mike Tyson wasn't going for the fat old grandad 'act' and refused to fight him. If it's true, it's a pity because that would have been a very interesting proposition.

The time between his two career runs would have been what you have just described. We have to realize that Ali beat by draining down an inexperianced in comparison monster who thought that he would destroy anybody that would stand in front of him just by his strength and power alone.Foreman was 25 years old when he lost to Ali!Today people around boxing consider 25 year olds as prospects!!!!!We never saw him in his prime and if he would find the mental strength to continue his career after the Ali fighthe could have been a champion for 15 years!ali was regressing a lot after 1976 and Holmes would last as long as the first bomb from George landed on his head.He is a top 3 heavyweight in my book and top 5 ever with the career that we saw.If we can make an argument that he would dominate the in between time space also then he is the best ever and it is not even close, using just a part from his abilities!Imagine,as you have said if he had a great trainer in his corner...

Manny Steward would of been a trainer for Big George, He woulda tightened up Georges defence, developed his already underrated jab and would of had him throwing calculated accurate power shots instead of his wild swings that he often through. Foreman was always an animal, but with the right trainer in his corner he could of been much better.
May the LORD bless you.
Big George is always number one for me history of boxing. As well as dreaming of becoming a heavyweight boxing champ at the age of 45. I find my love for sports in this great man. Long live legend.
Foreman made a load of money from his grills but also made a load of money from grilling Joe Frazier.
Liam Thomas do not disrespect Joe!
I wasn't disrespecting Joe just making a joke
Show some respect for Joe wtf!!
I thought it was funny lol.
It was actually pretty funny guys c'mon
Walking powerhouse
The best canal of boxing training 🥊💣
I know Foreman in his comeback came as a big, fuddly older guy, but if you look closely, he was still Big, Mean George Foreman deep down.
He handled Holyfield better than Tyson
poor tree
The man was an absolute beast. Makes Tyson look very small.
George you'r the best lay'd them all to rest!
Genuinely my favourite boxer got slightly overshadowed by Ali which is a shame everyone classified him as a brawler but didn’t respect his ring manipulation and skill
Calm music track barely hiding his ferocity.
Love me some '' big george '' one of the real heavy hitters.
Legend!!!!! ❤❤
My favorite heavyweight we could all learn from this humble man
The greatest☝️
Beast mode for real.
Classic upload.
Great video love the music as well
Even with age Foreman was a great fighter. He was not phased by time.
great video , long live boxing
For a strange reason,my favourite foreman was the 1987-1997 Big lovely George.other level...
Even tommy morrison played it it smart against an older foreman , this dude could knock out people with ease, one if the greatest men to ever box.
Freaking great video.
