I worked as a sign printer for about 20 years. I used to work with that perforated vinyl all the time. Looks great. Nobody but you will really notice the imperfections.

when you are putting on stickers or window tint to windows soak the window with windex, place and move the sticker into place and then squigy out the excess

To apply thos stickers perfectly you wanna use a spray bottle of water and soap and it allows you to slide them with out it sticking or crease

When you do those window stickers spray them with soapy water on the sticky side that way while your putting them on you can adjust them and use a spreader to remove the air bubbles and wrinkles.
It's perforated vinyl. You don't wet mount perf.

Demo, when applying stuff like that to a window, you put mildly soapy water on the window and back of sticker so you can manouver it. Then you squeegee out the water. Thats how you keep it wrinkle free dude 💯.

@@delta9vdp thanks bro. It's the same process you use when applying window tint and stickers to a car. Any moisture left after you squeegee will evaporate in 24 hours in regular climates. In texas it should be all cured in less then 12 hours

use water and a couple drops of soap then scrape the lettering in place with a soft plastic scraper. The water will evaporate if there is some left beneath the letters/decal. Makes it really easy ti install if you need to move and or redo someting.

Congrats Matt! Be careful over time with dirt/water getting in the creases or folds on decals; they can come off or fail sooner with dirt and water and time.

That is the FIRST time I have seen an applique like that put up DRY! Most I have dealt with are "floated" into place on a film of plain water to allow squeegee out of air bubbles and wrinkles.

Just a nit picky suggestion, I think the "I" in BRANDING would look better with cross bars top and bottom, the spacing would flow better.
As for the scissor lift, I hated them! I used to do commercial phone and computer wiring and anytime I had to go up to run cable through high ceilings I would get seasick.

That is because current codes have let the structure be largely supported by the plumbing and wiring- it really wasn''t the lift, it was the building waving in the wind, but your brain wasn't having any of that! I've had my doubts about how well this will work out, because we don't run solid iron pipe anymore or much copper either- just flimsy PVC and poly plastics. If you notice this phenomenon, call the city codes inspector- he will probably recommend more IT cabling or additional flex duct in the AC- it is all supposed to be counter stressed, that's what the dude with the fancy architect's degree form Texas A&M said anyway!
When you do it over (and you will) spray the glass with soapy water, apply the film and use a plastic squeegee to smooth it out. No wrinkles. No bubbles.
You can make a hinge with masking tape to secure one edge until you remove the backing and get started.
Shop and store front really looking good and coming together! Soon something in the back will need built for "stock products" to give more room in the shop for projects! Congrats guys! 🤘TEXAS!!!

Most RUclips channels have the same problems it seems. Music that is way to loud and than just talking when you have to turn the volume way up.
When fitting vinyl to glass you get the best results from floating them using water and dish soap.
Apply the soapy water liberally to the glass but be careful not to get the release paper wet or it will be difficult to peel off.
With the water and soap mixture under the sticker it allows you to easily position the sticker. Once you are happy use a window cleaning squeegee to force the water out from under the sticker.
Job done. You can thank me later. You may need to come back a day or so later to give the sticker another press on with an applicator once the water has evaporated.
Good for them! Sometimes commenters seem to think this all happens by magic or luck. Matt has had some great success in a very limited amount of time. But let’s not forget, he’s also suffered some tremendous losses in the last year or so. That includes his brother Mark, close friend Jake, the pet he and Mere grew into adulthood with, Dozer. They have worked their behinds off for the good things that they have, at the same time, pushing through the hard stuff like everyone else. luck is not a part of the equation.

helpful tip when applying decals like that spray some window cleaner down to make the window wet. itll allow you to position the decals without getting wrinkles etc. afterwards you just squeegee and it gets any excess window cleaner out and then when it dries you have a perfectly placed decal
We applied large decals as in 4' X 6' to our vehicles.
We used a spray bottle of 409. Other sprays may work but I know 409 allows you to reposition and smooth wrinkles with ease.
I predict that LincActive will take over that meeting space within a month of opening.

Hey Matt...the secret to easy and pro looking results on the window shades...is soapy water in a spray bottle and a squeegee....the water and soap allows to be positioned and smoothed out with squeegee before adhesive sets...it'll make things alot smoother..

Matt would probably love to, but with older and older firearms you have to be more careful as they have greater chance of failures. As the first reply said you should take it to a gunsmith or someone similar and have them take a good look at them to make sure nothing is in rough shape.
Dueling pistols to me are often muzzle loaders which are not made for modern gunpowder so do be careful if you are shooting muzzle loaders, blackpowder is not the same as gun powder.

With those letters, get windex spray heavily on the window. Apply screen to the top, use a squeegee to pull down as you peel. Helps remove bubbles and wrinkles

It's only doing that because it's empty. He mentioned that in a earlier bunker 2.0 vlog. Once they actually load that room up sound won't travel around as easily, but I'm sure if it doesn't ease up enough they will do something about it, so still a good suggestion to give.

Wow, i just want to point out that this idea of printing and selling shirts, all started in Matt's garage, a lot of big companies like google, Microsoft, amazon, apple etc. Start their business in a garage. I think the secret recipe for a successful business is "always start at your garage" 😁
Matt, please use water with some soap and spray on the window. That will allow you to move it once you place it down and will help with the wrinkles. Also once you finish cut about 2-3 mm from the side because the sides are the hardest to stick and as the sun shines on them they will pill if they are not stuck correctly. Also, use the hit gun afterwards and make sure that u removed all the weather from under the print and heat it well.
We spent the weekend out at Tapatio Springs and drove past BB a few times. The building looks great from the highway!

@offtheranch, Hi Matt, just a small hint. When you put on foil on Windows spray the Window with Water and press out the water with the scraper when put the foil on. So you can prevent the wrinkles.
Matt if you spray a little mixture of water with dish soap on the decal you can move it around and get out all of the bubbles and kinks before is sticks down for good.

To put the window stickers thingies up, try spraying the windows with soapy water, so the glue doesn't stick to the window, then you can push the water out and it's all nice, neat and easy. (easiest way to put stickers on cars)
Matt, use Windex and a squeegee to put those decals on.
1. Spray the window all over.
2. Put the decal on.
3. Spray the decal.
4. Use the squeegee to work out the air bubbles.

Soapy Water !!! Spray some before you put the sticker on, it will let you move the sticker and push air bubbles out. A good squeegee to push all the soapy water out and it's on !

Key word for applying window film/sticker is windex. You spray down the window windex and then apply the film. You can use a squeeze and get all the liquid out and have no wrinkles anywhere
4:16 if you get soapy water in a spray bottle. Soak the window. Then you can place the whole tint on the glass. Then you can position it better. Then squeegee the water out

Spray the area with a mix of 95% water and 5% soap... It lets u move and adjust before using a squeegee to smooth out bubbles and wrinkles on larger area stickers and decals
You can use a spray bottle with water and a couple drops of liquid soap . Spray the window, apply the vinyl, squeegee the graphic in place. Just like they do for tinting car windows.

ive never done this sort of vinyl but i have tinted the windows on all my cars and when you do that you spray a mix of water+baby soap to act as a slip layer so you can squeegie, position, and get a wrinkle free end product.

I rode shotgun on I-10 from Long Beach to Tampa one time. We took a load of exotic marine plywood to a yacht making company in Clearwater Fla, I about had a heart attack when they told us it was the wrong stuff. But they said the shippers were always a little iffy and they would find a use for what we brought them. It was back in 1995, and the weather was horrible.
2 table spoons of Baby Shampoo per 1 gallon of water. I use to install vinyl and tints on home/business windows.

Matt, excellent job with the giant sign facing I-10. Think about this: a giant sign that can be seen by cars coming the other way on I-10. With only one sign, you're right up on the building before you see the "Bunker Branding" sign. Just a thought. You may already considering that.
