About 7:30: a circle’s radii are always perpindicular to the tangent line through them, so you don’t have to imagine the tangent line at all, rather you only need the line connecting the centers of the two balls, as that will automatically be perpendicular to the tangent between them.
I'm pretty sure everyone's brain interprets the perpendicular thing as just from 1 ball to the next. It also just makes sense if you imagine hitting something.
Don't both these explanations imply that the direction of the player ball's momentum is irrelevant? I'm pretty sure collision point is only part of the equation, not to mention spin (although idk if this game has spin coded in)
Scratch my last comment; it's occurred to me that this explanation is correct if and only if spin doesn't exist, and only for the second ball. It does work though.
When you got 70 kills before the round even started, I believe it happened because a bomb spawned on an enemy because there was no space, resulting in a chain reaction.

Alternatively, find where the balls will be on impact, draw a line that passes through both of their centers, and that is the trajectory the ball will travel in. Draw a line perpendicular to that, which passes through the center of the cue ball, and that is the trajectory the cue ball will travel in after impact.
@@jasonc7620 I don't think the second sentence is right, since it doesn't take into account the angle at which the cue ball comes, which is used in determining the exit angle. I think a better idea is "don't care, shoot 150 bombs in a random direction, call it done"
@@thenumberpie314 good catch, I wasn't thinking correctly. Actually, if you take that perpendicular that I incorrectly said would be the cue ball's trajectory, and have that perpendicular line pass through the intersection of the two balls (essentially, the tangent that Tyler was talking about in the video), you can treat that line like a wall, and find the angle of incidence, which will match the angle of reflection, which then lets you find the cue ball's rebound trajectory.
@@thegamesquad5133 it does not, but most balls are the same weight in the game afaik, and in a real game of pool, I think all the balls are the same weight.
1) the reason some enemies got bigger was because they were hitting the healing items, similar to how they transformed when hitting the dice 2) i got to true endless on difficulty 10 and decided to go for either level 100 or the game crashing, whichever happened first. several times it got to the stage of "not responding", but it always pulled through. at level 100 i had hundreds of power ups, with my highest being over 150 of the "whoops" power, over 200 shots (i stopped buying anything in the shop around level 60, btw), i maxed out the gold at 9999999, and i had over 1.2 million % shot power i look forward to the inevitable rebalance
Over 1.2 MILLION shot power?! So, that is the normal shot power multiplied by 12000? And more.. god, how many enemies were there on the field at that point?
My theory on the balls that are slightly larger than others is from when they pick up a healing item, since enemies don't really have more than 1 hp, they just get bigger.
On the off chance that any dev is reading this: First off, good job, this game looks really fun! The multiple stacking items are cool and feeds the chaos, but I feel like having "Gain a random item" as a thing you can *always* buy takes away player agency. At the very least it should *show* the card for the random items you get so you don't have to scroll around trying to figure out what just happened. Probably more of an issue once endless is a thing, but making what you get clearer would be good. Bonus items you gain from duplicator and such should also show the cards for the bonus items, or at least say "+3 from Duplicators", "+2 from Trinity" and so on on the original card that was duplicated.
i think what happened at 48:16 was that Tyler spawned so many bombs and dealt so much damage that he effectively triggered an overflow error, thus causing the leftover bombs to instantly collide with the spawned enemies, and completely break the entire game. i'm just a guy who likes watching broken builds on youtube. i don't know what happened, i'm just guessing
At 6:53 - The reason the enemy died is because they stopped on a speed booster/teleport pad. When those re-activate for the next shot, any enemy sitting on one will be instantly killed. Probably done so to avoid glitches.

It will go more wild, in endgame, there's 2 item called "magic fork" and "make it count", which make it absurbly broken in endless mode cause they give pernament item pick up, I reached a point of clean entire board of enemies with just 1 shot only
