The sheer simplicity of the tonkatsu ramen - highly concentrated pork broth, fresh noodles, spring onions, thinly cut pork slices - it's the heart of fine cuisine. The best ingredients, cooked with consummate skill.
Now that's a proper portion when the camera focused on the spoonful, I felt I just wanted to dip some bread in and try it. As for the egg-fired rice 😍yes please

Everyone talking about the tonkatsu ignoring those absolutely perfect gyoza. I can hear how crispy the bottoms are and see the soft gooiness of the topsand filling. Damn that looks good.

My only complaint would be that they aren't using gloves 🧤
Looks good so far but, I have to comment how filthy that kitchen is. Unusual for a Japanese place; from what I've seen
Eaugh....uh....
You know none of these places like this would pass food hygiene laws outside Japan. There is dirt and storage issues that would give an inspector a coronary.. Not to mention the floors and kitchen don't look like they've seen a mop and cleaning brush in a month of sundays. Not saying the whole country is like this but too many small places that have been there for ever are bad.
LOL get back to eat at your McDonalds and your Starbucks then Mr. Mopped floor

the food looks very tasty! i could say that i am one of the lucky ones who are able to watch you from afar. my life coach @lisahaisha talked about you in one of our Zoom meetings as i told her that i really want to cook delicious meals for my girlfriend. as always, she does not disappoint in her recommendations as i am watching your videos right now and you're a really great chef.
i am curious to know more about the recipes that you've used in this video. it would be a big help if you put subtitles or texts so i could follow as i don't understand the Korean language.
