The second shortest JR line in Japan. Left side viewｗ from Mukawa to Tomakomai on the Hidaka Line.

This is a left side window video of JR Hokkaido's Hidaka Main Line.
The Hidaka Main Line used to be 146.5 km long, but about 80% (116 km) of the line beyond Mukawa Station was damaged by tidal waves in January 2015, and was closed on April 1, 2021, leaving only 30.5 km between Tomakomai Station and Mukawa Station.
As of 2023, it is the second shortest JR line that calls itself a "main line" after the Rumoi Main Line.

This was my channel's first attempt at a video of a train window view. There are some diesel trains running in Hokkaido that are difficult to film a front view video of.
