I picked up a bottle of Fortaleza Reposado and after the first sip it became my favorite, moved El Tesoro to 2nd place :). I like reposado more than Anejo and Blanco, but I will buy a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco based on your review.
Thanks for the info Mark tried them all except the San Matias will have to pick a bottle in the future .What are your thoughts on Siete leguas one of my favorites?
Siete Leguas is very good... Its a blend of Tahona crushed and roller mill tequila from 2 different factories.. so didn't match the guidelines I set for this video.. These are all 100% tahona crushed..
I recently brought a bottle of Fortaleza Blanco. although it is nice. I find it has a strong Alcohol taste which takes away from the flavour. something like Milagro Blanco is much smoother. The nicest Tequila I have ever tasted however is Clase Azul Reposado and is just heavenly.
Clase Azul is loaded with sweeteners and artificial flavoring to give it that taste. Fortaleza is natural with no added flavoring and sweeteners which is what real tequila tastes like. When trying to switch from the additive tequila to the natural there is an adjustment period..

@@TheTequilaHombre hmm...I was aware they are building a 3rd location. I just spoke to one of their guys last week. I'll be in Atotonilco in 2 days (leaving this Sunday). What do think of Tequila Casa de Los Gonzalez? they use brick ovens but a roller mill instead of a tahona. I don't know if I told you before but I have 30 hectares right behind Latino Especial (not too far from Embajador). I want to cultivate agave and make my own but the right way. no pulling plants in year 4, no additives, no diffusers/autoclaves, none of that nonsense. Not a fan of Siete Leguas???
Of course I am but it is only half traditionally made as they blend juice from two factories (soon to be 3) and only one uses a tahona.
It will be a while but it's my dream. 74 acres can make for a lot of plants.
Love your channel btw.
@@DonRamiro1 Reserva de los Gonzalez? It's very good. I always grab bottles when I visit GDL since it's not available in the States. That brand was the brand of Don Julio's son. I know and are good friends with His his Grandson. Don't get me wrong on the Siete Legaus. I love the brand but it didn't make this list because it didn't fit that criteria I was using for that video. That sounds cool that you are looking to start an agave farm and make your own tequila. I wish you the best of luck with that venture. Glad you like the channel. Thanks for watching.
What is your fav tequila, even if it’s not traditionally made???
I like too many to have a favorite.
I like tequila ...
Nice! I LOVE tequila.. 😉👍

Why TORAI is so expensive
Expensive bottle 🤷
The Tequila Hombre but what is so especial
@@javierg5310 Couldn't answer that. I haven't had any yet..
I love El Tesoro. I am a bigger fan of Tequila Ocho.
Me too! But Ocho isn't made traditionally.. No Tahona.
Buddy says el Tesoro is cheap ok. Canada price is 150$ a bottle lol. I’d rather buy an oz of weed it will last me 2 months
In the US its $39.00. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely love El Tesoro
Me too! 😋👍
Why are they all blancos?
They Aren't.. They are brands that have all three expressions..
At the end of the night im slowly goin to the g4 repasado for its smoothness

Another, "te-kee-luh" guy
