I'm heading to Mexico (a resort) in the near future, any brand name Tequilas I should be looking for in particular? Are there any to specifically watch out for and avoid?
Crazy enough we have a bigger selection if tequila in the states. Many distilleries cannot sell in Mexico and can only sell out of country. Most tequila in Mexico is between 35 and 38 percent which is why many people think it is smoother. USA tequila is normally 40%. Fortaleza is any excellent old world tequila that is additive free. It is sold as Los Abuelos in Mexico, id recommend that since you cannot technically buy Los Abuelos here.
I througly enjoy a nice Anejo I tried Espolon last night excellent. I enjoy Los Rios Don Julio I will soon be trying Hornitos black barrel Anejo. As far as glass where I have used both the Glencarian and the Norlan glass.
I do NOT touch Jose Cuervo. Only 100% blue Weber agave for me. So No hang overs for me. (LOL you cover all this ) I began drinking it on ice and margaritas, then as I found better tequilas I moved to neat. Personally I have it in a Canadian whisky glass. But I have enjoyed it in many others. Espolon was definitely a staple along with Altos! Anyway always happy to see a great tequila video. Cheers.
I’ve tried many tequilas and I did not like Espolòn at all and it actually tasted almost exactly like Josè silver. If you want a great sipping silver tequila go with Patron or Don Julio.

I'm from Guadalajara, 30 minutes away from Tequila, yes there's a lot of tequila qualities, the 100% agave you usually can drink alone while other tequilas you can get a prepared drinks like the famous Cantaritos, and it will taste good too. You should make a video on Cantaritos

Ayyy, love epsolon! Definitely my go-to mid-shelf tequila! Great for mixing in a Paloma too! Tiny Spanish lesson, if you ever see an N with a squiggle above it, you were supposed to add a Y to the end of that N. So the proper Annunciation would be “An-ye-ho”
My preferred Sangrita is made with tomatoes, orange juice, lime juice and a selection of onions, peppers, garlic, limes and oranges in a cheese cloth for steeping. If you're like me, it'll be a flavor like you've never tasted and totally awesome.

Noted!
Omg this is great! I could never tolerate drinking tequila straight but paired side by side with the sangrita is fking fantastic! You sir, earned yourself a sub!
I'm definitely expecting to see your subscriber numbers shoot into the sky. Great videos man.
Hey Ryo, I really appreciate that, I'll keep doing my best!
This is a fun way to drink !! I put some salt in the sangrita as well.
At 31, I finally decided to give tequila another chance after only having Jose gold when I was younger, and it was always as a shot forced on me. It was vile. I bought Espolon blanco yesterday and surprisingly enjoy it a lot, palomas might be a new favorite drink.
I absolutely love espolon tequila, it deserves more attention. The flavours are so pronounced I normally enjoy it without lime
Another thing to note is even the 100% agave ones can have a ton of additives. Just much less than mixtos. Casamigos and clase azul are examples of tequila that still have a lot of additives
That sangrita alone sounds so good
Anytime drinking tequila I always paired it with pickle juice. whether I was chasing with it or just sipping on it between tequila sips, it always paired super well with whatever tequila I had.
I can honestly say, don't think I have ever heard of that before, but still noted Michael LMAO
@@SlightlyCultured it's a big thing here in Southern Indiana, too. Lol
In Poland we drink a shot of Vodka and bite off a bit from a pickled cucumber or eat a small pickled mushroom next.
Hey dude love your videos and editing style its all amazing and I'm happy to have just subscribed and watching all your vids. Hope more will keep coming!
Super stoked you enjoyed David! They will, just takes some time in between!
Love the memes, man. Lotta good booze channels out there, but yours seems to be the funniest
The funniest 😳 Wow! Thank you!
@@SlightlyCultured in a good way! Sorry if that sounded dergatory or some such, not a native speaker here. Cheers from Russia!
@@NitroCerber Yes! I know you meant it in a good way! I was just flattered! Thank you friend, cheers!
My man made his own sangrita. I’m so proud
this is great. i grew up on the crappy tequila, and heard that higher quality ones taste much smoother. found this video. gonna give it a try!
Love the videos hope to see more from you and continue with more "The authentic way" vids learning a lot the editing , style and the memes are great.
That's what the channel is all about baby, more to come I promise!
Haha honestly the harry potter pronunciation thing earned you my sub, can't wait to watch more.
Learned from my brother in law about high quality sipping tequila. Changed my world.
ive heard a bunch of buddies of mine hate espolon blanco, but personally its my favorite cheap tequila. i tend to get camarena blanco the most often because of how well-priced it is but espolon has the best flavor of the two.
I discover1800 Reserva Reposado in the 90's and quit doing shots and start sipping - i love the taste!
i usually don't comment on videos but i noticed you have such few subscribers compared to the quality of your content and wanted to give this video a little boost by interacting. regardless, you showed up my front page so you're definitely doing something right with the algorithm already. anyways, please keep making great content!
You are the homie Rad, I really appreciate the boost! I'll keep grinding!
Tapatio is my favorite hotsauce. Love it on plain lays
I like this guys vibe, deserves a like and subscribe
I like your vibe Chubbs 😳
Hey, great channel! Talk about Cachaça, it is a awesome spirit.
Cheers from Brasil!
The same video with Vodka would be cool. Most people my age mix it with red bull. A Norwegian friend always drinks one glass of vodka and a seperate glass of Orange juice or water and i have to say that's plain but better than mixing it
Great choice of Tequila...very smooth!
Ever since I got into tequila the bottle sit at room temp and I just pour my repo into a glencairn or something similar and sip neat. Love tequila ocho G4 and casa noble at the moment.
This dude needs way more subscribers
Damn this channel is going to blow up before the end of the year, keep at it bro. Seen your videos thrice already in my feed
I'm gonna keep going Epsellon! I appreciate the encouragment!
Great video man, you are gonna blow up soon and I’m looking forward to it for you!!!
I really hope so Jhenny!
nice educational content! long time whisky only drinker here trying to diversivy
Thanks Mekore! If you are a whiskey drinker I would def recommend Anejo Tequila or if you want something more unique, Mezcal might be up your alley!
Altos is a good teq. Also go with silver, the barrel can add a bunch of allergens for those of us that suck and dont want headaches...
This channel is fantastic! Thankful for the algorithm today
Me too! 🥺 Super glad you enjoyed!
Bro you bouta blow up no doubt I thought you atleast had 500k/1 mil
Not yet, but we will get there! Thanks for watching christian!
"Same shirt, different day!" Relatable, specially if I've had tequila.
(LOL you cover all this )
I began drinking it on ice and margaritas, then as I found better tequilas I moved to neat.
Personally I have it in a Canadian whisky glass. But I have enjoyed it in many others.
Espolon was definitely a staple along with Altos!
Anyway always happy to see a great tequila video.
Cheers.
I still love margs hahaha Thanks for watching mate!
yes that was stupid, but it worked lol!!!!!i subscribed in less then 10 sec.... amazing video!!!!!!!
I agree with the other comments, you deserve way more views!
I appreciate that Isak!
20k subs wtf man !!!! Keep it uppp
Fantastic video! Love it when people bring attention to how tequila is supposed to be enjoyed.
Glad you enjoyed Donny! The authentic way is almost always the best way!
I’ve tried many tequilas and I did not like Espolòn at all and it actually tasted almost exactly like Josè silver. If you want a great sipping silver tequila go with Patron or Don Julio.
I'm a whisky guy but I can appreciate this.
Glad you enjoyed Wolfman! Tequila and Mezcal are my "whiskey" LOL
yo good vid. I have had that outro problem so many times lmao
Trying some Don Julio Anejo completely realigned my view if tequila. Definitely sipping liquor
05:26 Jasilico, lol. Tapatio is american from california use Valentina, Valentina is made in guadalajara jalisco less salty and vinegar taste IMO. also no mention of caballitos? great video very informative.
Man, I was so close to using valentina instead too lmao! I appreciate the feedback!
Bro keep it up!! You're gonna go so far!!
Sup Aub! Thanks so much, I'll do my best!
You're missing the one ounce clamato juice bruh!
However. Your video is the most acurate informative and sound intro to tequila i found. Why does everyone ive seen review tequila hate Jose Cuervo? Jesus! Leave my Cuervo alone. Not going to lie Milagro tequila was my first intro level but Lunazul picked up the mantel for entry lever as of July 18 2023.
If you don’t have a vodka or spiced rum video would you consider doing those next?
Hey Jonathan! They are definitely on the radar! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info, I had no idea I have been drinking inferior Tequila. Very interested in trying out the good stuff 👍
I love that Espolon Blanco! Great price great taste. Harder to get though up here in the North (Canada).
Thank you very informative and to the point
Hey! I saw a bottle of chartreuse advertised online then found out it was a pretty unique liqueur but is pretty pricey, would u do a video so I don’t have to buy it?
The RUclips algorithm is in love with you
I am very humbled by it tbh, kinda wild to see videos going off like this
Ayyy, love epsolon! Definitely my go-to mid-shelf tequila! Great for mixing in a Paloma too!
Tiny Spanish lesson, if you ever see an N with a squiggle above it, you were supposed to add a Y to the end of that N.
So the proper Annunciation would be “An-ye-ho”
Hey DeepPix3l! I appreciate the tip, now I just gotta remember that next time I speak spanish lmaoo 😅
My preferred Sangrita is made with tomatoes, orange juice, lime juice and a selection of onions, peppers, garlic, limes and oranges in a cheese cloth for steeping. If you're like me, it'll be a flavor like you've never tasted and totally awesome.
That sounds super savory!
