Happy to see more clone talk. That Shaman looks good.
One of the fun parts of these cheap knives is tuning them. Those sticky deployments and hard edges and whatnot. Polishing the washers and filing away rough lines. That's a large part of the enjoyment. My first knock off was a Sebenza made by Green Thorn. I love that knife. It wasn't til much later I was able to get my hands on the real deal. They were insanely similar.
There is a subreddit, chineseknives, where clones are the main topic of conversation. Just in case you were unfamiliar. It is pretty active. There is a lot of good info there since you are going to continue with the clones.
    Thanks for the vid.

I like Temu. I like Temu knives. I like that I can try out classic knife designs for basically nothing; if I really like something, I might buy the genuine article, though (like you) I'm way too cheap to spend more than $200 on any knife. It's a great way to test the ergos. It's a great way to get the experience of the look and the feel. But make no mistake: these are all counterfeit products. They are not over-runs, they are not made in any kind of corporate affiliation with the American companies, they are made to sell on various web sites (Amazon, eBay, etc.) pretending to be real, for full price. Tens of thousands of Americans are in on this scam, so be aware! None of these have authentic packaging, none of these have the steel that they're labelled with, it's all fake. Some are actually pretty good knock-offs, and they're pretty decent knives; others are just worthless; but they have nothing to do with the original products, other than being really good fakes. At least when you're buying on Temu, you know (or should know) that you're totally getting a fake product; what scares me is that lots of people buying on Amazon, eBay, and other sites are unknowingly getting the same fake products at much, much higher prices. Caveat emptor!

I highly highly recommend you try the Temu Rockstead fixed blade, it’s a $160 on Temu but the real one is 3500, it does a have a perfect mirror polish convex ground blade, it comes with the same sheath as the real one, and so far it has held an edge for a very long time, it’s advertised as using zdp-189 at 66-67 hrc, which is where zdp-189 should be heat treated to. I’ve used for bushcraft including batoning, it feather sticks like a dream like every other convex knife I have.

So here's the lowdown on what I have heard and read, some are clones yes, some are factory 2nds, some are Chinese knives. The United States just does not have the tooling for pocket knives anymore except for a few companies that's why most companies have their knives made in China because it's cheaper and more economical for a company to make knives in China. So, with temu your never going to know what your getting. Clones in Chinese made knives you can tell for sure what they are, Factory seconds you'd never know except by quality build.
