"Your positive energy is infectious" said Geoff to Manny. Truer words were never spoken. Manny is the best! Thanks, to all involved, for this fantastic tour.
You can get RF Faraday Fabric that works real good, you can even buy pre made pouches that work good on the Big Muff pedal, you just put the pedal inside the pouch.
Awesome studio tour. Thank you, Geoff and Manny. The Renegade Studio looks like a great, inviting place to be creative and record some exciting music. Simply amazing.
What great stories and what a wonderful studio, thank you Manny and Geoff. Great to see the big boys turn into amazed kids. 🙂 Manny, love your course over on PMA!
Whilst it’s really interesting to watch those visits to studios with amazing architecture, stone work and sculpture… There’s really something special about a jumble of vintage gear in a poorly painted urban space. Such a vibe.
Ha bullseye and you have a great eye for the details of distraction and making Art at the same time. You get it. Thanks for sharing and you are appreciated by PLAP.
Warren didn’t know I replaced so you can imagine me sharing “ hey here is the intro “ lol He was awesome of course and very supporting of myself here PLAP.
Manny, that intro riff is amazing and I had to shazam it to realize it's your band actually! Great song, would love to have those multis inside academy if possible.
Manny & Geoff, in Manhattan! That studio name has my Styx ear worm going in the background. I had heard about Adam and was not sure what had happened. 💔
👏🏻EXCELLENT👏🏻 My favorite LDC mic is the AKG C12A❣ Sounds great on my bass/baritone voice. The C12A was used on many famous recordings at Olympic Studios in the '60s. I used to work with Jeff Blenkinsop who produced The Secret Machines.
Geoff Sanoff! It's Jason Dahl watching you from Ottawa! We went to highschool together. Man you've done good there in NY. Such good gear too. Thanks for presenting this, Warren!
@@gsanoff Great! I'm rockin up here! I mean, yeah, we can chat on FB etc., but it was just such fun to see you show up on Huart's channel like this! I got a text from Jeremy: "Guess who they interview on this…" Great to see what you're up to. So jealous of your gear lol
@@mannysmiclocker That's the way the paint they make is supposed to work, you are supposed to run it to ground. The point for me of the fabric is that its super easy to set up and re-use and not potentially dangerous.
My bad I actually filmed all and had just picked up that camera 2 days before . Next time I’ll try to get better shots C. Produced by manny behind the camera was a challenge🎉
I mostly use the compressors and mic pre's. The reverbs kind of sit in a rack, now that so much of the work is done in the box. I do use the 480 a lot though. The most unique thing is the modded Pultec mic pre's which are pretty cool.
Why would you say some political crap like “slava ukraine” on the video about musical studio. Oh how dumb it is to watch tv too many times and read american news… too bad, too bad… no critical thinking
