The great thing about Cameron is that back in the 90's, he would record many of the bands that were working their way through the Orange County nu-metal scene. If he thought you had promise, he'd do demos with you. We actually "paid" him with shoes, shorts and shirts we had access to because we were sponsored by DVS at the time. Good guy who has the patients of a saint as he had to deal with our singer.... who was a fu@#&*g nightmare.
This is definitely an interesting pair -- two very different styles obviously but so cool to see two professionals nerding out. Fantastic stuff -- thanks Warren.
As someone who grew up with So cal punk/hardcore, Cameron is in the upper upper echelon. Very cool to see his studio and even picked up some cool gear gems too! 👍
Guy on the right, hearing him on the left... I'm not a person about 'who's who?' in music. But I really love watching studio tours like this on youtube. They give me the joyful longing for once sitting in on a real recording sessions and absorb, absorb, absorb the knowledge that wil be spread around. That's sadly enough the same reason vid's like these also give me the feeling of missing out. But hey, as long as there's music, there's hope 😉!
I played on a bill as main support for Zebrahead in ‘05 (roughly) in Stoke on Trent, England (a smidgin different to SoCal!). As an up and coming engineer/ producer I talked their ear off before and after the show. They were full of praise for you Cameron! Love your body of work!
Great to see u Daniel hosting this tour! Love ur enthusiasm and seeing how a pro such as u can still get excited and surprised to learn about new stuff, such as that tape deley, which looks insane. Very inspiring. Thanks u guys!
Definitely looks more comfy there compared to most pristine pop oriented studios but damn do Silvia Massey’s studio next! Producer world is a mega dude overdose.
Hi Warren, What a room! And such wonderful people, too. The algorithm has taken me away from your channel lately but I’m definitely playing catch up tonight! Thanks as always for the great videos.
Is it trite to say well done to Marc Daniel? If Steven Tyler can use an attaboy, maybe you guys can. Great stuff... love that both of you can do tours now.
Whats the name of the company that make the fairchild spring reverb?? Alborosie Dub Station by audiothing had one but not sure if thats the one Cameron is speaking of. Great content by the way!
Also the music over the B reel was turned way down. And the editing was a bit off and the voices were muffled. It'll bet they accidentally rendered and uploaded their first edit draft.

That Altec 🤤🤤🤤 thanks for letting us in, Cameron 🙏🏼

Mark is such a dude, very natural in front of a camera!
Cameron is the best! Legend for sure.
The vibe in this video is SO awesome. Great to see them both together
Love Marc doing studio tours!
This is heaven. Love both guys..
Cameron's records with Motörhead were some of their best sounding. Massive thanks from this fan!
Agreed 100%! He brought them back

I don't see why the guys are not mono mixed... This is so distracting, specially on headphones. Love the vid's!
Thank you for sharing, very cool! I believe Andy Wallace likes the SPX90 for the Symphonic setting #15 on bass. Probably some reverb stuff too?
Very cozy and warm!Thanx for the video!
Thanks ever so much

Love your body of work!
Loved seeing Warren hiding in the background of the video! 😂
Great studio tour 🔥
Haha I loved hiding in the background! Always fun when someone else gets to do this!
In '84 my bass player had a Nakamichi Dragon deck. We would listen and stare at it like it was the Monolith from 2001!! 😹😹
You guy's always inspire me
Thanks ever so much
Love all these tours. Warren and Marc make a wonderful pairing on this channel! Cheers
Thanks ever so much Danny!
Thanks team, thanks Daniel, thanks Warren, been hanging for a studio tour for a while now!
Great to see u Daniel hosting this tour! Love ur enthusiasm and seeing how a pro such as u can still get excited and surprised to learn about new stuff, such as that tape deley, which looks insane. Very inspiring. Thanks u guys!
I just want to know what music that was at the beginning??? It was awesome also a great video
Loved the vibe!!!
Thanks ever so much!
Love seeing these two! Great Stuff
Agreed, great stuff!
Very cool.

Marvellous idea!

Awesome!!!
Definitely looks more comfy there compared to most pristine pop oriented studios but damn do Silvia Massey’s studio next! Producer world is a mega dude overdose.
Fantastic video. I am drooling over the gear. Thanks very much Marc and the PLAP team
Loving your studio tour videos!
A small peek at a world most of us will never see in real
Warren is camera shy. 😀 Nice tour guys!!
Shhhhh….I was ‘hiding’ haha
Hi Warren, What a room! And such wonderful people, too. The algorithm has taken me away from your channel lately but I’m definitely playing catch up tonight! Thanks as always for the great videos.
Marc thanks so much for this great video!!!!
Wow, that old spring reverb, tape delay, compressor and the tape deck...
Love the studio! Great work Cameron!! Bless
tHIS WAS AN AWEOME WALK THROUGH! To see all those old pieces of equipment is always awesome! Wouldve loved to see and hear how they worked!!!
There’s lots of videos we’ve done with Cameron! Please check them all out
tape delay is mindblowing :)
Absolutely
That tape machine gave me Millennium Falcon vibes..
Haha yes, indeed
How on earth did Mark know the vocal chain? =) (hint: the retro says "vocal" and the distressor says "vox" on it) But great video though. Cool place!
Old school I love it
Thanks very much!
That was awesome thanks
Thanks ever so much!
Aww wow, that was awesome!
it's the symphonic (chorus) preset on the spx90 Andy Wallace uses
Staring Back - On record is brilliant. Razor sharp geets
Great studio ✌️
Is it trite to say well done to Marc Daniel? If Steven Tyler can use an attaboy, maybe you guys can. Great stuff... love that both of you can do tours now.
Haha amazing
When Warren and Eric make a film, you see the equipment that's being talked about in the frame. Otherwise great as always
Nice!!!! Siiik Gear!
Cool!!! ❤
Thanks ever so much!
Great Tip to cover snare mic 🎤
1:46 when the drummer says the snare is not loud enough
Cool vidéo, but weird stereo and maybe denoising artifacts ...
Whats the name of the company that make the fairchild spring reverb?? Alborosie Dub Station by audiothing had one but not sure if thats the one Cameron is speaking of. Great content by the way!
Like to hear the bass parts Cameron tried to sneak in on Lemmy.
Haha there is a Motorhead course that shows that! promixacademy.com/course/mixing-motorhead-with-cameron-webb/
Ys, he did sneak it in!
1031 genelecs are the best for mixing imo
Is it just me or is all the mic audio clipping?
Just you 🫶🏼
Ouch. NS-10s?
Rmx is so much better than the dmx
Let the guy talk geez.
Warren was not very good at hiding. LOL
Haha I tried
Thanks for the vid. But that's some seriously bad B-footage and editing!
Also the music over the B reel was turned way down. And the editing was a bit off and the voices were muffled. It'll bet they accidentally rendered and uploaded their first edit draft.
Gotta delete that intro montage nonsense!
